The screen on my Xiaomi 9T Pro is broken, It suddenly stopped working, this happened in december. The phone itself works, I can pull files from the phone, I can restore the software and so on, screen just stays black. I did a factory install with Mi flash tool but screen stays black.
I bought the phone from banngood in october 2019. My repair shop has made a repair offer, I sent this to Banggood via email and they agreed to repay the repairing costs (199 euro).
Ok so far s good. But lots of bad luck happened in the mean time, they ordered a screen in december but after 3 weeks (beginning of January) the repair shop made a mistake and they said that they ordered a screen for the wrong phone: Xiaomi Mi 9...
Then they made an order for the right phone.
25th of January they said the screen for the Mi 9T Pro is not available for the moment from their supplier. Also it was Chinese new year till 8th of February (their supplier is Chinese also)
Now they say it takes more time because of the corona virus...
Isn't there an European webshop somewhere that has replacement screens on stock? Can there be fake ones??
I can assure you that there are plenty of fake ones even in the Chinese websites or native websites which are reselling the same fake Chinese product. So, be careful while choosing displays.

It's the first time I am posting this kind of thread... But I would like to avoid others to run into the same problems as I did
Since I live in Asia I thought that for repair/replacement issues I'd better order my phone in the region. I picked Expansys HK since they seemed to have a good reputation
The original purchase went well, I got delivered quite quickly and was very happy about the service (Sending email when goods are shipped, etc, etc...)
The problem is after only 2.5 months of usage my HTC Touch Pro 2 failed on me: the screen was scrambled (white, red and blue dots all over the screen). This without any particular reason (I treat my phone correctly). The phone was still working, but definitely the graphic output was dead. I could receive calls though and output to an external screen
After only 2.5 months of use, without any bad treatment of the phone you just think "**** happens, just bad luck, I'll ship it and should get back quickly another unit or a quick repair"
I waited 2 months. I had to call and email several times to push and get feedback. I the understood the phone was shipped from Expansys HK to Expansys UK. Then Expansys UK snet it to HTC UK. Where the phone was probably shipped back to China... (This I dont know, just personal speculation). I cant believe it takes 2 full months to fix a phone. Maybe expansys let it rot somewhere and only woke up after several complains. Maybe it actually needed 2 months of manpower to fix (In which case I'd say that HTC had better give me a new one)
Anyway terrible management of the issue. Bad communication with the customer with no care at all (btw what I am supposed to do for 2 months without a phone...). I received my phone today with not even a short letter of apology for teh 2 months delay, or explanation of what went wrong with the phone (I guess I deserve this at least. I paid 800 USD a few months earlier for taht phone no ? Just the phone simply put in a tiny bubble bag. My screen protector is torn at several angles, I'll need to buy a new one. Expansys didn't even think as a "present" to put one to replace the one that was scrapped (By them ? By HTC ?). HTC happily upgraded to Win 6.5. Cool ! But all my contacts, emails, settings, etc... were erased
What to say ? Nothing... Just don't buy from there or if you do cross fingers your phone won't break. Maybe I am too harsh, maybe you get the same experience with other shops... I just know my next purchase wont be from there (My previous phone was an HTC Hermes bought in Japan, I had issues once, it took 1 week to fix. Night and day...)
thank god you got it back, in india we are not so lucky at times.

Reslly ?? Waoh !! From Indian shops or whenever you order abroad ?
I bought my TyTN in Switzerland (not Expansys), after one month my cam had problems so I sent it for repairs. I had to wait for one month untill they sent it back. As far as I could see, device was sent to England for repair and then sent back.
Cheers

hi~
thanks for reporting on us the expansys, but it make me WILL buy one from them.
Now it's 2020, I wanna a redmi note 9 pro (india) aka redmi note 9 s (global), codename curtana.
In hong kong we only have joyeuse. in which it's less popular in XDA, as curtana is sell in india and outside india,
yet joyeuse is someplaces + not in india.
expansys is almost the only way I can buy a curtana, with some qurantee.
1. you quranteed expansys ships good product AT first at least. Hope it's sealed, look brand new and not touched
by others
2. you quranteed they provide repair service.
For the duration, it's reasonable,
I live in hongkong which is 1 hr far from china,
but at one time I sent a US 100 tablet to another dealer and send back to China,
it DID take a WHOLE MONTH.
it's the speed for repair.
two months for you is reasonable, as you see 1hr from china need 1month period.
It's a little bit overpriced for me however.
in HK the joyeuse cost usd200, with 1 yr warranty.
expansys curtana cost usd200 but only 6mo warranty, they charge u usd30 more for a total of 1yr warranty.
anyway thx for the report on expansys

Well it's been 11 years... I have no clue how they currently perform.
I live in HK too and there are now a lot of other convenient shops here anyway. Also international shipping has become cheaper and much more convenient so lots of options these days to order a phone or a tablet.

Hi guys,
So I was unlucky and the first fall of my new Xiaomi resulted to a break on my screen on the lower left bottom. The phone is fully functional but I was trying to search for the cost of a new screen in order to replace it. The truth is that the cost is really high. It's that high that it's better worth it to buy the cheap version of the Mi Note 2 than buying a new screen!
So, I'm here to ask if anyone has found any value for money proposal for a new replacement display for the phone!
Not really ... All the screens from china are 100-200 dollars ... Very expensive part if you are unlucky ... Try at aliexpress to search and try to make a deal with the seller , maybe you will get a good price
I think that one of the problem is the OLED screen is not cheap. And China is far away from us.The post must be not cheap.
Kid dropped her Toy house on my 2 weeks old Mate 10 the screen cracked and the display is partially blank. Already checked with main Huawei service center over phone, the part is available and in-stock. The Phone has One time free screen or back cover replacement with in 3 months as part of 1 year warranty. Am going to service center later today to check for eligibility failing which, I need to shell out roughly us$ 140 for screen part and labor charges. Will keep everyone updated about the Huawei Manila Philippines service Center experience.
Currently am back on my Oneplus 3T and hating the small sized screen and Camera compared to the Mate 10.

Thank you for your kind words.
Sorry about the delay in updating the status. Huawei honored their one time screen / backcover replacement with out any drama, no questions asked!
They replaced the screen/battery/entire casing/Vibration motor/earpiece/charging port!
I think they just swapped the motherboard plus cameras on to the new frame with all existing parts
I held and checked the replaced parts (in pictures) I didn't expect them to replace so many things for ease of replacement.
No Labor charges or hidden charges of any sort, all Zero charge!
All under 2 hours!
I had to go the main Huawei service center outside of Greenhills in Manila for this.
Thank you Huawei, now the Mate 10 is back to it's original mint condition! Loving it
:good:
great to hear that Huawei Philippines is doing a great job on this. I myself is also from the Philippines and this update gave me more confidence with the brand.

Great to meet another Mate 10 user in Philippines. The One time Screen or back cover replacement in Philippines is applicable to Mate 10/ Mate 10 pro for first 3 months from date of purchase only. After that regular warranty applies.
Over all, big thumbs up to Huawei Philippines!

I've ordered from trading Shenzhen and giztop before. Both are pretty fast. Tradingshezhen customer service sucks though, I asked if I would be able to return a phone if I left it brand new sealed in box and they told me I would have to pay $50 + return shipping + I think 20% restocking fee and I better like the phone. I would have understood if it was something like shipping + 10%, but what rubbed me wrong was how they told me that I better like the phone. I kid you not that's exactly how they said it to me lmao. Giztop was okay, their support was a lot more professional but they got some information wrong and they also took too long to ship out the phone I initially wanted. I eventually ended up cancelling the order and ordering a different phone from them. That one came pretty quickly at least. I used the GTRE4 code or something like that to get a discount as well. Both places have marked up prices compared to ali so you are paying a premium for faster shipping.
I've ordered my mi11 from aliexpress since it was the cheapest option, and only like $20 more for twice the storage. Plus most places didn't have the leather options that I wanted. Hopefully it ships out soon. I remember I ordered a poco f2 pro from aliexpress and it never shipped even after waiting over a month. I ended up cancelling the order and getting the ace2 from giztop.

Says March delivery :X I wish this was easily rooted. Also, not sure how any warranty would work when buying from the usa?
I saw someone selling secondhand Mi11 Pro with this defect.
Do you think it is the same problem ?
The seller said it is imported without warranty.
Selling at 150 usd below non defect secondhand item.
Below text is an information I found from another forum.
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/mi-11-wifi-problem.61386/#post-609738
"gehao94 I'm from China, and my Mi 11 had the same problem. Go to the after sales service point to replace a new phone. It is a problem and the only way to solve it is to change the motherboard. Specific Xiaomi Mi11 (Made between Nov. 2020 and Feb. 2021) could have this problem. It is said that these phones' persist partition could be destroyed during the update, and there is no flashing-way to fix it."
I wouldn't touch it to save $150
It might never be fully functional
