[SOLVED] CameraRunner.exe not found (Problem caused by osKitchen alpha)

I've been trying to build my own ROM using osKitchen. Everything has worked and I've been able to upgrade a stock ROM to build 23569. The only problems I've had are with the panel and camera software. The panel and camera buttons on my phone don't work. Pressing either of them will give me an error that the program that should be launched can't be found. CameraRunner.exe is in the Windows folder. I am able to launch it but none of the icons for the UI and menus appear. I am still able to take pictures.
PanelManager.exe is different. When I run that I'm presented with a black screen. I am unable to do anything to close it. It hijacks the Today screen. Other than that the phone will still work normally.
I assumed that these problems were caused by changes I made to the ROM but that doesn't appear to be the case. I imported my stock ROM into osKitchen and built it without changing anything. The resulting ROM had the same issues.
I searched the forums but could not find a solution to this problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

For CameraRunner.exe, did you include the Xperia camera package?
For the Panels, you probably excluded one or more packages needed for this to run proper.

I initially thought that might be the case but I tried building the ROM with all original packages included and without any modifications and it still has this issue.

The package didn't help. Pressing the camera button gives me an error and the icons are still missing if I run CameraRunner.exe manually.

I was using OSKitchen too, having troubles(Not sure how to get it to the next rom or w/e) anyway to get camera to work, I used the X2 Camera Update as a package Use the Package Converter option up the top > choose cab > choose the camera > tick it > build ROM > Install ROM > Camera should work
Also my panel manager didnt work through OSKitchen either.

I figured out the problem. The alpha version of osKitchen doesn't copy the PROVXML files into the ROM, which means that the files for the camera and panel software won't be moved to their correct locations. The old version, 1.30v3, doesn't have this problem. The camera and panels work in the ROMs I've built using that version.

hey, I meant it like this: you don't have problems with the file in one of the custom roms available here (with the need to just reinstall it) but while trying to cook your own and the problem was kitchen (oskitchen, alpha) related, so it would be nice to have that in the thread title to clarify the content and that it's dev related, nothing more, just a suggestion

[Q] OmniSwitch Restricted Mode

I posted the thread here as i think it's the most appropriate, pardon if im wrong.
The toast message "Omniswitch restricted mode, failed to gain system permissions" is shown in the notification list.
How do I give it that? i installed via Magisk, and i also tried flashing the zip from TWRP.
the magisk manager doesn't list it in #superuser where for example substrantum and solid explorer are listed.

I'm in the same issue android 13, nothing doesn't work...

actually that , there is no such option is not found !!! - Tap More and then Allow restricted settings.

Oke kinda stra ge because i have Xperia 1 iii with A13 and have that option when an app restrict an option then i just do that.

I have an A13 OmniSwitch APK which used to work on December security update but now for January it does not. It only shows the overlay if there are no recent apps but does FC when recent apps are available.

is it working on android 11\12\13 ???

If this question is directed at me, you can find working OmniSwitch for 11 and 12 in the appropriate thread. Mine did work on earlier A13 but not lately.

ok , what I 'm trying to make work on a13 but without success , I 've tried all the traditional ways , but it does not work ... I wanted to know how to work on a13 ...

Flash this zip then copy OmniSwitch to /system/priv-app. Be aware it may not work on newer A13 patched ROMs.

I had already tried the way you said, but without success!
image 1 - I can install everything correctly, but when I run it, this error appears!! I just need to fix this error!

[GUIDE][FIX]Gcam force close after flashing a pie based rom

Hello everyone. I have seen in many threads that many guys out there are facing gcam force close issue after flashing a pie rom. Here's a fix! Delete the following files. Make a backup (just in case because who knows )
1) delete:
/system/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar
2) if (1) doesn't work, then try deleting: /system/etc/permissions/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml
3) reboot.
Do not delete the files containing "....experimental2017" because they do not seem to cause the force close.

Unable to delete/Access Second space in Redmi9 A12

After getting updated to MIUI 13 A12 I'm unable to access or delete second space options. And i disabled MIUI Optimization and now i didn't find that option in Dev Ops anymore.
If there is any way to solve this please update me also the phone is mow very lagging and high ram consumption.

Is there a way to downgrade

I also had a issue..
Using Xiaomi video..app I made some videos hidden.
Then after mui update..the where visible.
Deleting videos..only worked for a few minutes..then the where back.
Could not even delete any file in the same Directory as the video. Nor the Directory it self.
Removing sdcard..using a pc to delete videos also did not work.
I solved the issue..by removing the sdcard holding the video files ..and replacing it with a other one.
