Hello guys, why can't i install google pay?
it says it's not compatible.
I have global ROM RMX1931EX_11_A.08
I didn't rooted neither did unlock bootloader, it's in stock settings.
Thats weird, i have it on my phone.
Where do you live?
Your country might not have google pay?
You can allways try to sideload it with the apk file.

I live in Portugal, but yeh... weird. i will try to install it by apk, thanks!
Installed via apk from apk mirror and works flawlessly.
EDIT: Well, it doesn't really. i will try a factory reset.
Can't add debit cards, it only accepts credit, with those 3 security letters in the back and my cards don't have those.
Portugal does not have Google Pay.

Ok trying to install Google play store on my p9, Chinese version. But I can't open the play store after it's downloaded from huawei store. It just flashes then gone. Tried to give it full permission , uninstalled and restarted the phone a few times, but still the same problem. In huawei store, it says play store needs to be installed as system app, but I can't seem to figure out how to do so. Please help. Thx.

No, I did not root. I was trying to go the easy route and install from huawei store. Thanks anyway.
I remeber yet, please try this http://www.xiaomidevice.com/blog/how-to-install-google-play-store-without-root/
I tryed this method 3-4 months ago custom miui rom on my Xperia Z3C successifully. I hope you will do.
This is what shows after I open Gmail app. I don't understand, google play services is in my app list and appear to be running. I'm going to do a factory reset on my phone and start over the process.
I'm haven't Unlock or root my device yet, so currently on locked Bootloader and the latest Official Stable China Rom. I've sideloaded Google Apps but Play Store showing "Play Protect" Device is not certified. I can still download apps from Google Play Store but can't seem to get Google Pay (I can't add my debit card, it say my device may be rooted or unsecured) & some other apps to work properly, it kept saying my device isn't secured. Is there anyway around it without unlocking and rooting my device?
>I've sideloaded Google Apps but Play Store showing "Play Protect" Device is not certified.
So what's the problem here?

Anyway to make my device "Play Protect" certified so I can use Google Pay on a China K20 without unlocking bootloader and rooting it?

Yup, I tried it, but it still doesn't work. It's alright, I went ahead and got the Mi 9T Pro instead.
I bought Tencent version and upgrade it from CN to WW with instruction from jonny886 thread. Then I installed FOTA to update firmware to WW_16.0631. Everything works fine for me so far with accessible to all Google services such as Youtube, email, calendar...
However, I dont have Google Play Store preinstall, so I download apk from apkmirror. But I cant install it and always get error code "App not install"
Did I do something wrong? I look for the same problem in this forum but seem noone got this issue. Pls help me.

As you have only just installed again, what about re-flashing or factory reset? Could have been a bad flash...

Cool cool, glad to hear it's all ok now What worked, factory reset or re-flash?
Just factory reset works fine.
Hi ,
This guide is to explain the easiest way to get GMS working on latest firmware i.e. EMUI 11.0.0.151 on P40 Pro 5g (Mine model was ELS-NX9)
Thousand thanks to @bender_007 for such an amazing app i.e. Googlefier
Step 1. FIRST Downgrade to FIRMWARE version 10.1.0.131 using Hisuite Proxy App (Detail can be seen on @bender_007 GOOGLEFIER Post (Method 2) or you can search youtube.
Step2. While downgrade you may get data partition corrupted error, but no worries just do factory reset/ low level format in recovery.
Step 3. As soon as system reboots after downgrade, DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING EXCEPT GOOGLEFIER APP by @bender_007
Step 4. Run Googelfier app and just follow the steps EXACTLY AS MENTIONED . Remember my words ....EXACTLY
Step 5. After following all steps as mentioned you will get perfectly working GMS services on 10.1.0.131 firmware. Everything works fine here even Google pay is working fine EXCEPT GOOGLE DUO AND FIREBASE BASED PUSH NOTIFICATIONS OF GMAIL.
BUT YOU WONT GET OTA UPADTE IMMIDIATELY IN YOUR phone, to upgrade to latest firmware. Maybe you can get that in a day or 2 or more.
Step 6. NOW TO MANUALLY UPDDATE TO LATEST FIRWARE, just follow the hisuite proxy app method which you followed for downgrading. Just identify the exact FULLOTA in Firmware finder. Note down its link and version number. paste in Hisuite proxy app and upgrade
I HEREBY CONFIRM THAT GMS works perfectly fine even after upgrading to EMUI 11.0.0.151
CHEERS.
on 18th Nov 2020, i got automatic ota update of 10.1.0.182 AND ON 31st December i got OTA update for emui 11.
Everything working fine as before i.e. all Google services.
Only issue you will face is the delayed notifications and google duo not working.
TO RESOLVE BOTH ISSUES, AFTER INSTALLING GMS SERVICES USING GOOGLEFIER, DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ICEBOX APP ON YOUR PHONE.
ACESS YOUR PHONE THROUGH ADB AND ENTER THIS COMMAND ----- adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/com.catchingnow.icebox/files/start.sh
Then ICEBOX will run automatically in your phone. In icebox app, select simple adb method (last option) and select system apps, search for google framework services and freeze it.
THATS IT ....ALL NOTIFICATIONS DELAY WILL BE GONE AND GOOGLE DUO WILL ALSO WORK FINE.
USE AURORA STOTE FOR APP INSTALLTION FURTHER OR DEFROST FROZEN GOOGLE FRAMEWORK TO REACTIVATE PLAY STORE WHEN APP INSTALLTION REQUIRED...DONT FORGET TO REFREEZE AGAIN.
ENJOY

I tried googlefier the other day and couldn't get play store to work properly after about 5 attempts so reinstalled with the manual method from a few weeks back.
Google pay doesn't work for me though. It says the phone is rooted or altered. So google pay definitely works with googlefier ? I thought it was just a front end for the manual method and I've only ever seen people say Gpay doesn't work.
work perfectly and after GMS installed i got OTA updates ..

I'd like to know that as well because if Google pay works that way I'll go back to .131 and instal it myself. It's the only thing missing from this amazing phone!

Google pay doesn't work here as well. Google pay run, but it doesn't mean it works. I got this message when I tried to set up contactless payments. "this phone cannot be used in shops this may be because is rooted or altered in some other way"
I have a banking app that suggests adding a card to Google Pay. When I push it, it opens Google Pay where Google Wallet already installed. This banking app works just fine on other device (vivo v23e). Similar problem on other banking app. Installed Google Wallet not detected by banking apps. If a bank supports adding card directly, the card works just fine in the Wallet. But not all banks support it.
What I tried: find Google Services Framework, clear data. It gave me the error in Google Play "app is not supported on this device". Then I made a factory reset - still to no avail.
I don't have a face unlock, just fingerprint and pin.
Assembly name: TQ1A.221205.11
Are you rooted? Why do you have old firmware? I would update your firmware. It 02/23 now soon to be 3/23 on the 5th. If you are rooted to got to flash a magisk safety net fix.

I'm not rooted. The updates are latest.
I found another banking app that worked with App2App add method. So it's probably some outdated banking apps issue, not Pixel's.

Updated, did not work unfortunately.
Me sorry that's all that I know except if you manually flash the stock firmware again https://developers.google.com/android/images
Keep in mind that will delete your data
Is your bootloader still locked, or did you unlock it?
When I unlocked my bootloader, still on the stock software, my Google Wallet/Google Pay didn't work. As soon as I locked it back, it all worked again.
