ROM: Galaxy Exhibit 4G Peach Sunrise 3.01

Peach Sunrise is the first custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit. Based on stock UVLG3, it's deodexed, zipaligned, rooted, very lightly themed and uses a custom kernel. A CWM-based Recovery is required for installation. The industry spyware program Carrier IQ has been removed. This ROM is based on Samsung stock UVLG3 and is NOT vulnerable to USSD Dialer Attacks!
Everything that works with stock works with Peach Sunrise.
You can swap your internal and external sd storage using the included SwapSD app.
ADW Launcher is default. This launcher is highly themable, with many hundreds of themes (including ICS) downloadable from the Market.
EStrongs FM, Voltage Control, DSPManager and CIFSManager are included in the ROM.
V6 SuperCharger is included.
The stock WallpaperChooser has been modified exposing 30 new Wallpapers from Samsung, previously hidden in the source code!
Extra features include busybox, bash shell, terminal, init.d support, rc.local support, remount script. Additionally, adb now supports root access, allowing you to do things from your command line that were not previously possible.

Installation
CWM Keys:
Home key = enter
Back key = back
VolUp/Dwn = highlight choice
1. Back up your data. The installation will format your data partition. I suggest Titanium Backup, available in the Market.
2. Download the peach.sunrise zip file & copy to either your internal or external sd card.
3. Install Galaxy Exhibit 4G Custom Recovery (cwm) . If you're already rooted, you may install from the command line, otherwise you may install from Samsung's Recovery. Samsung's recovery only sees the internal SD, so copy the cwm zip there. Stock recovery sometimes takes more than one try to start.
Easy way to start recovery
* Make sure the cwm zip is on your internal (non-removable) sd.
* Pull the battery from your phone.
* Connect phone to your pc via usb.
* Press & hold Volume-up
* Insert battery
Your phone will boot into recovery. Press the capacitive menu button (left bottom button) when you see the open white box and droid. Choose 'apply update from sdcard' and select the cwm zip file.
4. Start Custom Recovery (cwm): Press & hold Vol-Up, then press & hold Power. Shortly after the plain white Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Recovery should start after the color Samsung/T-Mobile Exhibit logo.
5. Select ROMwipe. This step is required! You will have problems if you do not install Peach to a clean system.
6. Highlight install zip from sdcard, then press Home.
7. Highlight 'choose zip from sdcard/external sdcard, depending where you placed the download in step 2.
8. Highlight the peach.sunrise zip file, then press Home.
After you confirm your choice, installation should take less than three minutes.

Peach Sunrise has been de-bloated, meaning that most of the junk that
T-Mobile/Samsung includes to eat up your phone's storage has been removed.

Sorry, I have no idea. I'd guess probably not.

So this is just the Exhibit II's stock ROM debloated? If I already debloated all the stuff I don't need, does this ROM do anything?

What are you interested in having a ROM do? I've had the phone less than a week, so I'm pleased with this as a start

I like! . Haven't used it yet, but progress is good! Is there anyway you could make the kernel OCable?

Consider this a beta, and use at your own risk. However, everything I've tested works. Calling, texting, camera, wifi,etc. If something is broken, it's probably something that I debloated that needs putting back.
Installation
Use Odin 4.43 or greater. 4.43 included in archive. Have Samsung USB drivers 1.4.8 or greater.
1. Put your Exhibit II into download mode. With power off, press and hold the download volume
button, then the power button. A warning screen about the evils of custom software will display.
Press volume-up and you should be in download mode. The screen has the Android robot in the center of the screen and "Downloading" underneath it.
2. Connect your Exhibit II via usb cable.
3. Click the OPS button, then select Ancora.ops
4. Click the "One Package" checkbox, then press the "One Package" button at the bottom of the Odin screen. Select the file peach.sunrise.tar. No other checkboxes need clicking, no other fields need filling. Press the start button.
The process takes 4-5 minutes to complete using Windows 7 in a virtual machine. Once your phone reboots, you should be done. YYMV.

I've posted a screenshot above of what your Odin screen should look like prior to pressing start.
The COM port mapping field should be yellow, with a port number filled in.
All checkboxes are checked.
The Reset Time field is pre-filled in with the value 300.
The OPS field is filled in.
The One Package field is filled in.
HTH.

I think I did it wrong because once it finished rebooting everything seemed the same. How do I know I have the ROM installed?

Things like this are why we have public betas
You are probably fine. I need to brand the ROM, so it identifies via your settings. Since the Odin process does not format your /data partition when you reboot your home setup WILL look just like like it did, since your /data partition overrides the new default home screen.
If you're rooted at boot the new rom is in place. I'll work out branding in beta 2.

dont u think its slow

Review to 1 day of usage
Hey, thanks for another great rom. Here is the review :
1. The rom is a bit laggy. Lags appear every now and then which becomes a bit irritating.
2. The air command window can be opened but it freezes there itself if attempted to close and the device then needs to be restarted to solve the issue.
3. Multiple sound engines always cause some issues. So i suggest to keep only Viper in the rom. Viper works flawlessly.
4. The S note and sketchbook apps are very much slow.

No its not slow.....yesterday late night i downloaded and flashed...and what i observe are below.....
Its is smooth like stock
works well...both sim's, network etc
All samsung goodies and lot more...
What is not good...
When i open camera and take picture camera closed...but picture is taken i tried for both front and back camera and this issue happened.
When i clicked on Font in setting system UI crashed
It seems some more work is required towards this rom to be a great rom
overall good work by devs and thanks @nrupesh2912 for porting this great rom for our turbo

Smart features not working
Features in this ROM like smart stay,smart scroll and air gestures are not working
air command does comes up but I am not able to use any of its function
only smart pause in the video player works accurately
I wish you to file update .zip for following features to work especial smart scroll by tilting head

but the problem is with resolution...
the icons and apps are very small in my mobile...how to increase the resolution are resize the apps....?

Requirements for installing AXES Rom:
1- A Human Brain
2- A PC/Laptop running Windows OS
3- Samsung USB-C Cable (USB-C to USB-A) which obviously comes with your phone in it's retail box.
4- Patience & Time at hand
Make sure to backup your files, contacts and so on before attempting to tamper with your device unofficially as the data residing in your phone's storage will be wiped!

Instructions on installing AXES Rom:
1- Go to your devices Settings ---> About device ---> Software info and tap on it's "Build number" several times in a row till a message appears saying that you have unlocked Developers mode.
Go back one step and you'll find a new option defined as: "Developers mode".
Without further ado select Developers mode in Settings and turn on: "OEM unlock".
2- Make sure the above step is fulfilled before you move on to this step. This guide is case sensitive and your device is on the line in case you do not follow the necessary steps provided in the right sequence and way.
Turn Off your phone completely and press and hold it's Power Button along with it's Volume Down Button & Home Button to enter: "Download Mode".
After the Samsung phone name logo, you will see a blue screen with a warning sign.
Proceed by simply pressing the Volume Up button once as seen on the screen.
Now you are in the: "Download Mode" aka: "Odin Mode" for flashing firmware files using the Samsung flashing tool called Odin.
3- In this step we will be attempting to Flash a Custom Recovery entitled: "TWRP" which stands for: "Team Win Recovery Project".
To do so we will need to download the Odin Windows Application as described above in Step 2 for flashing the custom recovery file.
WARNING: Flashing a custom recovery to your device will trip the Knox warranty bit on your phone. Check with your mobile provider to see if they will still cover warranty on Knox bit triggered devices. If you understand this risk, continue on.

TWRP Recovery v3.0.2.0 (ONLY for SM-A520F/DS) Download Link:

Once you've download both files from the given links above, extract the folder: "Odin3 v3.12.3" from the Odin3 v3.12.3.zip file to your desktop and move the: "A5-SM-A520F-TWRP-3.0.2.0.tar" file to the Odin folder you just extracted.
Run the Odin3 Application within that folder.
Click on the: "Options" Tab after Log and uncheck: "Auto Reboot" and make sure that: "F. Reset Time" is checked.
Go back to the: "Log" Tab and click on the: "AP" button and select the: "A5-SM-A520F-TWRP-3.0.2.0.tar" file you just moved to the Odin folder in your desktop.
In order for Odin to detect that your phone's connected to your PC/Laptop make sure you have the Samsung Usb Driver for Mobile Phones installed onto your PC/Laptop.
If you already have it installed then simply skip obtaining it from the download link below.

Afterwards connect your phone to your PC/Laptop using the Samsung USB-C Cable.
Once Odin displays that your device is connected, hit the: "Start" button below and wait for the file to be done flashing. You will notice above a green progress bar filling up towards the end and also your phone's screen will display a white progress bar to go along with it.

4- Odin will display a green: "Done" box above when it's done flashing TWRP Recovery.
Afterwards we will reboot our phone normally by simply pressing and holding the Volume Up Button and Power Button for a few seconds (around 10 sec.) and then we instantly press and hold the Volume Up Button along with the Power Button and Home Button before we see the Samsung Galaxy A5 Bootlogo in order to successfully boot to TWRP Recovery.
5- You will reach a TWRP Recovery screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications. Swipe right and enable modifications and select: "Don't show this again".
6- For the Internal Storage or Data to work in TWRP Recovery we will have to go to: "Wipe" then "Format Data" (not advanced wipe) and type: "yes".
Go to: "Reboot" and select: "Recovery".
7- Your phone will reboot to TWRP Recovery once again.
If you have the Rom zip file available in your External SD Card then skip Part 1 of this step and move on to Part 2.
Part 1: While running TWRP Recovery on your device, connect your phone to your PC/Laptop using the usb cable and copy the Rom zip file to your phone's Internal Storage.
Part 2: Finally go to: "Install", select storage and select: "Internal" or "External storage" wherever you copied and stored the AXES Rom zip file.
Locate the Rom in either storages, select it and swipe to the right to flash it.
Wait for the Rom to be flashed entirely and then select the reboot option.
Rebooting to the system will require about 5 minutes so be patient and don't forget to report back to us with your experience!

DO READ ALL CAREFULLY ! I MEAN ..... ALL…
When installing this zip you have to know it’ll make your intSD to be formatted when you want to revert to Nougat (see later on) . So do follow instructions carefully, otherwise do flash something else….don’t want to see some tears due to this one
So, thought I upload my twrp zip of A2017 V3.0.0B01 MiFavor 5.2 based on @wineds backup (thnx mate !). And make a FULL GUIDE for it !
As some of you wanted to test out this V3.0.0B01(version2) not through EDL but via a regular twrp zip, here you go !
Pros and Cons but did my best to make it as it is...
PRO :
*stock rom with Dolby
*almost fully debloated of Chinese adware
*working magisk 15.3 and safetynet
*working adaway
*magisk modules working fine
*no call bugs
*no hickups or stuttering UI
*scaling up to 0.25 – much faster UI experience
*axon7 G bootanimation
*FP scanner less then 1/2sec response time
*…
CONS :
*didn’t manage to make system r/w through root explorers ; you can however delete and add files - or use twrp - i guess you’ll have to live with that and test for yourselves
*reboot time lasts langer then normal
*quick-charging does work but does not display that on screen
*dialer phone call list may show some chinese characters next to "mobile", "work". It's a translation of it.

Procedure : READ CAREFULLY !!!!!
0. Download/place files onto extSD (not intSD) formatted as Fat(32)/exFAT (otherwise your extSD might seem “corrupt” when booted – see also PNW) :
a. Twrp3.2.1.5
b. A2017X_V3.0.0B01_O_SL!M rom
c. A2017X_V3.0.0B01_bootstack twrp3.2.1.6 incl
d. Modem G or U
e. A2017X_universalB15_twrp3.2.1.0 included and/or your bootstack of your running rom at the moment
f. Magisk 15.3
1. Do make a full backup of your intSD ! ( on pc or extSD like you want ). You’ll loose your intSD when reverting back and needs formatting to EXT4. YOU ARE WARNED!
2. Install twrp3.2.1.0 (if not already running) !
3. Do make a full backup in twrp3.2.1.0 of your entire working rom (boot, modem, system, data)(if not already done)
4. Boot into twrp3.2.1.0 and flash twrp3.2.1.5(a), reboot in recovery AGAIN ( do not boot system)
5. Wipe system/data/cache/dalvik
6. Install (b) rom
7. Install (c) bootstack
8. Install (d) modem (G/U)
9. Flash magisk 15.3 (f)
10. Wipe cache/dalvik
11. Reboot
12. Tap power on “5sec” and “30sec” screen ( I know….the corrupt boot is awfull,,don't blame me...)
13. You’ll be powered off/red lights
14. Power for around 10sec and you’ll boot
15. Tap middle circle on bootpage, choose English, setup wifi,check in,…..
16. You’re on !
17. Uncheck auto update into Playstore !
18. Check safetynet magisk. Should be ok
19. Check adaway. Should be ok. If not : check “systemless hostst” under magisk/settings
20. Enjoy adless youtube
21. ….
You can add the new JoJoc module in magisk to juice up your battery-life :good:
Tip : disable left page (Mi-board) with long press on home screen/goto more/uncheck Mi-Board
REVERT PROCEDURE to Nougat : READ CAREFULLY !!!
1. Boot into twrp3.2.1.6
2. Flash twrp3.2.1.0 and reboot into recovery AGAIN (not into system !)
3. You will see you have to “cancel” and swype and you’ll have to format intSD again. But first look also if you see your old twrp backup you took earlier into the restore option
4. When so, go into wipe/advanced/wipe/choose data/change filesystem to EXT4
5. Then go into wipe : wipe system/data/cache/dalvik
6. Restore your old twrp backup
7. Flash universal B15 ! (for nougat)
8. Reboot
9. Red lights...but power again for some secs
10. You’ll boot
11. When booted, reenter twrp again and flash ( if needed ) your own bootstack again ( in my case on G I flashed the B09 bootstack (slim4) and in same flash also the B09-removeBLwarning )
12. Reboot and you’re on your old running rom now

It's all in procedure you know. And no you'll have to install 3.2.1.5. Later on, when bootstack is flashed you'll end up even on 3.2.1.6 to not corrupt your data EXT4 partition.
Anyway, read carefully and do all as described!!! This is not a regular flash

Based on this. ZTE release beta V3.0.0B01 MiFavor 5..2
Performance is up to you to test. For me it has no lags only the ones mentioned in OP. When listening f.e. on youtube, imo sound quality is way above N.
Battery with Jojoc tweak is comparable to N.
Also less then 1/2sec for FP scanner. So no bug there as before.
Test it yourself and compare :good:

Why this version and not B07?

Did not boot on my U version. Waiting on animation for 15 minutes

Booted for me (A2017G).
Fingerprint sensor is veeeery slow when phone has been sleeping.
For adaway, I had to change the setting in Magisk, as mentioned in the OP.
Other than that, it seems ok. It would be nice to have a way of applying the B07 OTA though.

If no go , wipe system/data/cache/dalvik again and redo procedure all over.

Yeah, V3B07 would be great (i worked on it before) but then again for now no dolby when rooted and vice versa afaik. Therefore i worked on this one.

For G version (not sure about U) , if you want to disable nav_bar, use my navbar df!nr

i have done what you say on OP. Phone turn off of i dont press power button. When i press, linux pinguin seems and it goes boot animation but never boots.

i'm stuck at the linux penguin on my G model, done everything as described in the op, no errors while flashing or anything, can't get past it

I have a problem here. My device is a305f and I have succeeded instaling your rom, and that's amazing.
The rom is run smoothly, despite some little bugs. But the real problem is the mtp is not working. When I choose file transfer, there's nothing happen while in recovery mode it works. Please help, I don't event have a clue where to start to fix it...

I've tried ur awesome rom on my phone and it's super amazing but i always get something wrong in installation and get so much lags in daily usage so decided to settle on the official rom to avoid the lags that happens.

To any one have random reboot you must flash it correctly like me
First go to wipe putton select ( format data) then type (yes) swip to confirm
2_ advanced wipe >select (dalvic) ( cash) (system) then swip to confirm
3_install rom normaly
4_after finish installation dont reboot
5_back to TWRP Recovery main menu
Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “System” ) – Repair or Change File System – Resize File System – Swipe to Resize
Select Mount – ( select “System, Vendor” ), Back to home
Select Reboot – System
