Some months ago I couldn't wait for Android 9/UI 1.0 for my Note 9, so I downloaded and updated from a 3rd party... Now I am waiting for the Android 10/UI 2.0 update from Verizon, but it's not pushing to my phone. I tried to use the PC version Software update; which failed. I am wondering if I can get some assistance on how I can get the new update..

Hi,
Will Nexus 7 (2012) get Android updates in future ?
If yes then how long Google will keep on releasing updates for it ?
I am planning to buy one as its available at very low price.
Thanks.
Yes it already had kitkat

Still no OTA update yet though, so you'll have to flash it yourself

YES.
Yes, it is running on my N7 2012 now - KRT16O or KitKat 4.4 was manually flashed/updated & rooted again with TWRP. A series of Apps updated via Play Store. Downloaded a 1.4MB patch/update - which should update it KRT16S "This software update ... improves performance and stability and fixes bugs." - with the prompt to "Restart & Install"
Interesting, my Nexus 5's build number is KRT16M and showing no newer update when I checked it just now.
go, get it!

It will surely get updates. If not OTA from Google, there are great Devs for this device who will support for long.
Btw Flipkart slashed price to 8499Rs for the 16GB one. Go, get one!
I entered the android 9 beta program the day it came but now the stable version is out. How can I get it?

You can easily update the phone yourself using odin to flash the newest firmware version! You don't have to wait for your carrier to do it just go download the newest firmware for N950F and flash it and just do that every time a new one comes out.
Thx MrMike,
My mobile content will remain or i will lose all my apps...etc ?

If you're only updating you should be fine however I would still suggest you use Smart Switch from the play store and make a backup of everything on your phone so it saves the backup to your SD card so if anything goes wrong you still have everything and you just use Smart Switch to restore it all.. You never do anything to your phone without making a backup!

Download samfirm.exe or frija on PC and download firmware and flash phone with Odin using PC.
Search YouTube on how to use Odin and Samfirm.exe or frija.
Hello everyone,
I installed the beta app to receive the beta Pie update but I didn't manage to enter in the first 200 places.
Some days after, I received an update from the system menu: the 9.1.0.106(C432E3R1P3log).
Well, I updated it but it became dead slow.
I don't understand if this update was a beta or not: a friend of mine has the same phone but he didn't receive the update.
Can I roll back officially in a way or another?
I tried to install the beta update app but I don't seem to have adherited to any project.
Thanks to anyone who may feedback me about the android Pie update.
Normally resetting the device will help.

It's not possible anymore
Only if you're not on Bootloader 5. The very latest version of Q.
If the fifth number from the last of the PDA is 4 and not 5 then you can use Odin to go back to the last version of Pie.
I tried the Q update a week ago after declining the update for months. I really didnt get on with it at all, nowhere near as quick or stable as Pie, so went back using Odin
