Works amazing and looks 10x better than TWRP. I like the built in Magisk and App Manager and the many features and customization.
Flashed. Looks nice. I'm yet to get used to it though.
great keep up the good work man.
I've flashed and it seems very good, I haven't yet tested backup/restore or flashing stuff yet but the nicer UI and features are great

ONLY FOR EXYNOS MODELS (SM-G965F/FD/N)
Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
This will trip knox to 0x1, your phones warranty will be voided, flash at your own risk. Also, this process will wipe your personal data!
HOW TO INSTALL:
0. Make sure you enabled developer settings by pressing the build number several times and have the OEM unlock enabled
1. Boot into download mode by pressing: bixby, volume down and power
2. Download the latest Odin version, open it
3. Download the recovery file from below and put it into the AP tab
4. Untick "auto reboot" in odin and flash the file
5. After flashing, boot into twrp. Make sure to NOT allow system to be modified till you disable dm-verity! (otherwise your phone will be stuck at bootloop). Alternatively flash my stock patched kernel to the boot partition (install, install img, check the kernel, check boot partition, done). Find the patch kernel here
6. To disable encryption you need to format data

for me its visible. German DBT G965F/Duos
I have R16NW.G965FXXU1ARC5 Build number , and no "OEM unlock enabled" in developer option
There's already a small update for this TWRP:
- Added omc partition to the mount table
- Since we are using treble here I enabled that you can flash img files to the system/vendor partitions
- Fixed USB OTG issues
Also I made a stock kernel which disables force encryption and dm-verity! Flash it as img to the boot partition!
TWRP 3.2.1-1
Patched stock boot.img
Guys from what I heard magisk 16.1 was causing bootloops!

My Dutch Exynon S9+ came out of the box with unlocked bootloader. If you own a non Amerikan Exynon device than i guess yours is unlocked as well.
Thank you - great to see you here!
Am I correct in understanding that When I flash TWRP - Wipe/Format Data - I can then flash your modified boot image and I don't have to flash the separate No Verity file found on other threads?
I know this makes me look stupid, but I am just wanted to be sure i understood correctly.
Thank you for all the development you do!

In case you were not aware, If you don't see OEM unlock in Developer Settings it means you are locked out from flashing anything for 7 days. (Exactly 7 days, 168 hours. After that time frame is over - reboot your phone and go into developer settings and you should see OEM unlock there. Once you have it turned on - flash twrp and immediately afterwards, flash the RMM state Fix to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you ever flash new firmware in odin, it will very likely start the clock again and you will have to wait 7 days.
While you are waiting, you can turn off the phone - reboot if you need to - but don't remove the sim card and leave data on.
You can find the RMM State fix here with a detailed explanation about what it is - here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75360965&postcount=22
Good Luck

Thanks, but how do you know that your phone is unlocked ? do you miss the "oem unlock on" from developer too ?
At the moment mine is still in bootloop cause I'm downloading the stock Rom so I can't show you a screenshot but I'm sure I saw it in developer options last morning.

Not all Exynos are "unlocked". I dont knwo why some are and some are not - but the light at the end of the tunnel is that if you don't see OEM unlock now, if you wait 7 days - you will. You will just need patience. There isn't anything else you can do about it unfortunately.
From my findings it's Magisk that is causing the bootloop, I have tried 16.0 & 16.1 and also going back to 15.3 all causing bootloop. Think we need to wait a little for root :good:

A lot.
Requirements:
Honor 9i (RNE- L22)
I don't know if this will work on the other variants like RNE-L21, L23.
Your device MUST have an unlockable bootloader.
Your device MUST be Project Treble compatible. That means your device meets one of the following criteria:
Your device LAUNCHED with Android 8.0 Oreo or a newer version (eg. Android 8.1 Oreo) AND is Google Play certified. (If you rooted your device/flashed another custom ROM and somehow ended up with your device being listed as uncertified in Google Play, then don’t worry. We’re only concerned about the status of the device as it was shipped.)
Your device UPGRADED to Android 8.0 Oreo or a newer version AND was made Project Treble compatible by the manufacturer. See this article for a list of such devices.
For honor 9i(RNE-L22) u need to be in EMUI 8.0 otherwise u wont be able to flash this rom.
NOTE - ROM INCLUDES GAPPS AND SU (ROOTED)
ROM link - RESURRECTION REMIX
How to flash GSI system image? -
- CHANGE the ROM img file name to RROS
- copy the downloaded rom image file to the adb folder
- now once you are in that folder press and hold the shift key and right-click in the blank area , now select open command window here.
- Now u r in CMD enter the following code.
(Don't change any thing)
type - fastboot devices
(check if it shows any device if shows then process further or else install adb system wide properly)
type - fastboot -w
(this will wipe everything from your phone so before doing this take backup)
type - fastboot flash system RROS.img
(this will flash the rom)
when flash is finished
type - fastboot reboot.
HERE IS THE TRICKY PART
AFTER REBOOTING SYSTEM HUWAIE eRECOVERY WILL ASK TO FORMAT THE DATA PARTITION , DO THAT, AFTER THAT IT MAY AGAIN TAKE YOU TO RECOVERY, DO A SIMPLE FACTORY RESET AND REBOOT SYSTEM
NOW GIVE IT SOME TIME TO BOOT UP
Note: all the credit goes to the GSI image developer @phh
A big thanks to @KingofMezi for the recovery.
Please hit the thanks button for me.
Will add screenshot soon.

Pitch Black Recovery Project (PBRP) is a custom recovery project based on Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) developed by Reza Adi, maintained by Manjot Sidhu and Mohd Faraz and themed by FireWolf.
Prerequisites
1. Unlocked bootloader.
Bugs
1. No bugs, test it's those sides which others haven't tested yet
2. If you have found a bug, please consider posting it to my GitHub Issues.
Instructions
Method 1 (Fastboot Installation)
1. Go to the fastboot mode.
2. Download the PitchBlack-charlie-001.img and transfer it to the adb folder (rename is optional for simplicity).
3. Open the cmd/terminal and change directory into the adb folder.
4. Now confirm/check that device is connected by typing:-
Code:
fastboot devices
If you got your device seriel number there then you are ready to continue otherwise try connecting device again and make sure USB debugging is on and you have granted permission to the PC to debug.
5. After that we will flash this PBRP recovery to the recovery partition by below command:-
Code:
fastboot flash recovery PitchBlack-charlie-001.img
BooM ! PBRP flashed successfully.
Method 2 (TWRP Installation)
1. As far i know there is an official [STABLE] twrp. If you have it installed in your device, then this is just a piece of cake
2. Flash PitchBlack-charlie-2.9.0-20190606-1814-UNOFFICIAL.zip from twrp.
3. It will reboot to recovery automatically after that.
BooM ! PBRP flashed successfully.

Thanks waiting
I don't see in the instructions what to do with the rootfs.tar.gz file from the Recovery link.
That's a good start.

Don't understand this thing
The flashing instructions you have listed don't seem to be working for me. When i enter recovery im still in stock recovery. the dtbo.img is flashed to both slots too as well as boot.img.

New Release with fixed audio and wifi bt audio may or may not work , also fingerprint sensor will be detected now but it fails to illuminate the sensor so systemui will crash

Yeah it booted to OnePlus recovery, your instructions though mention using the recovery buttons command I tried vol. Down + power but I also tried just booting to recovery from bootloader, both booted to OnePlus recovery. I'll try to flash boot to both slots tonight. Testing out PE A12 GSI today while I'm at work. I'll have to MSM back to stock first to try your build out. I'll also test out bugs if I get it to boot and throw a logcat up.
Hey dev do you have any telegram group we people can hope in and ask for doubts xda seems to slow the process of asking doubts id someone stuck at recovery.
I will highly appreciate of telegram is there

LineageOS 19 - OnePlus 6T
Group to discuss about the Alpha Builds of LineageOS 19 based on Android 12 for the OnePlus 6T.

Can get this to boot, but can't change the recovery from the standard OnePlus recovery. As a result, sideloading .zip files fails because of signature verification (I can't see any option to disable that in the standard recovery).
Wifi is also still flaky on the latest build. It did connect once but now won't reconnect.
Happy to see arrow OS on fajita! thank you
