Place it in system/media
First you need to flash bootanimationenabler.zip

all 5830 bootanimations will work on "i" as there is no code involved in it only screen resolution matters.. so every 320x480 bootanimation in world will work :silly:

Someone needs to make a way to get them transferred from the phone. Or make an app that can access cloud storage like Dropbox/etc. It's silly to depend on your computer for this. Same goes for audio tracks.

You can send mp3 to you watch with the gear manager app

Thanks for confirming - someone seemed to indicate needing the cradle to do this as well in another thread - I wasn't sure as I hadn't tried this yet.

display default on x98 plus 3g

hello. I recivied x98 plus 3g from Gearbest. The display have some vertical lines always, and i thhink that is a dispaly problem ( or connection of it ). See attached photos.
Anyone had same problem ?
What is your opinion ?
One technical man, told me that is a problem of display and not of it's connection.

I'm now on B177 and i can't factory reset via command *#*#2846579#*#*, it fails at the end of the process.
But if i factory reset form system setting I'm able to.
First question: Some one cal tell me the difference between factory reset via *#*#2846579#*#* and via settings?
Second question: Some one detected any but in this new version?

How is your battery life with B177? I made the update a couple of days ago and I have a lot of battery drain. I think I will try to downgrade to B114 in which the battery life was pretty good.

As an heavy user - meaning 3 push mail accounts, social network notifications, whatsapp viber and so on, i cant complain.
For me it's like - Can i get home without using the charger? It's all good then!

Still no way for twrp and root on B177?

this is for s pen fans. I ordered the s pen of the galaxy tab 3. comfortable size, it works perfectly (with glass protection). Of course you have to carry it out of the device...[emoji16]

One of the downsides of using another SPen that I've experienced is that the SPen normally stored in the silo needs to be ejected/removed before the screen recognizes the SPen.
How do you handle this?

you can turn off pen detect so that's not an issue.

Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen > Power Saver. Turn that option to "off". Works like a charm.
