Hey,
i have broken my rear camera glass.
Is there a way to replace this or is it one piece with the fingerprint sensor ?
Can you suggest a good one, i cant find the glass itself and i am afraid getting a fingerprint sensor that is not working correctly...
a german / europe shop would be nice if possible...
Thanks

Xiaomi offers complete assembly with fingerprint sensor but just the glass is available with outside vendors and is quite cheap .
I did get mine changed here in India for a few dollars, you being in Europe , AliExpress would be your best bet if u can't find anything locally.
Installation is a simple job of just pasting the new glass with the provided double side tape.

Hi. On my Huawei p20 pro the fingerprint sensor got broken (my daughter bit it). It does not work anymore and a crack is visible. Any idea - can the sensor be replaced on its own without changing the whole screen?
I just sent my P20 Pro to the Huawei service center for this exact issue and they refused to replace the fingerprint sensor, instead they offered to replace the entire display assembly.
Really disappointed, I'll repair it elsewhere and sell it to get a Samsung.
I think the fingerprint sensor comes with the display itself.
looks like there are a lot of replacement parts on Aliexpress. One for $5 only. If u know how to take the screen out and put it back, order one and DIY.

The fingerprint sensor is glued in on a frame below the display, found the part for 5-6$ online.
I'll get it and find a repair shop locally to replace it, don't have the necessary tools for this.

this iFixit essential kit would be good enough to open it up and replace the FP reader.

Hi guys, i have been looking on amazon and i cant seem to find a tempered glass screen protector, anyone know where to buy it?
Look here:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000375464335.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.34de4c4dHq9TK4
I bought the Asling from gearbest but it has a "hole" in the finger sensor part, it has glue there which can be seen when you use the phone.
Is there any other good screen protector? I'd prefer with a selfie camera hole to not have flare on certain angles.

I used a tempered glass for 1 day and removed it again (from Gearbest https://www.gearbest.com/screen-protectors/pp_009176272936.html?wid=1433363 They simply deleted my 3-Star-Review). It also had that glue at the fingerprint position, which was very annoying.
Besides that I noticed that touch sensitivity is not that good with the tempered glass. For fingerprint unlock you had to press very hard/deep to get the fingerprint recognized.
I also tried to increase touch sensitivity with a trick I found online (Settings - Additional Settings - Languages & input - Keyboard, mouse, and track pad - Pointer speed: Increase Pointer speed for more sensitivity) but it didn't help at all.
Does anyone know a good tempered glass with curved edges, without the fingerprint glue and supporting nearly the original touch sensitivity?

Anyone had any problems with the proximity sensor not working? I have applied a thin film type screen protector that seems to prevent the proximity sensor from working
its hard to expect good TG for this kind of curving phone. I think hydrogel is a safer and better option. Not to mention it's cheap. (USD 1.2)
There are lots of problems with the proximity sensor, with or without screen protectors, don't worry. Should be fixed with an update
I got a Mocolo UV tempered glass screen protector on my Mi Note 10. In-screen fingerprint sensor works perfectly. Bought from Swedish online store. Can't seen to find it anywhere else right now.. so perhaps not to helpful.
Update: Found it here, not a clue if this site is safe or anything as I never used it. But this is the kind of screen protector I have.

My Phone Just fall into a corner and it broke my rear glass on the cam
It still works but not for long in m'y opinion
Is it possible to find and replace this little glass piece ?
And where can I find it ?
Thanks a lot
https://www.witrigs.com/searchautocomplete/autoresult?q=x2+pro
you can find it here maybe its out of stock now but u can ask the site if it's gonna be available
Thanks !
I Just did it
So I Just have to unstick the back, and replacing the rear glass ?
Or is it possible to change it without having to unstick the back side ?
it is about the part is broken if u gonna change the rear only or the whole part
No it is Just the small glass over the rear camera.
The whole back is fine.
So I Just have to extract every part of the broken glass, cleaning lenses and Just put the New glass without having to deposit and unstick the whole back of the phone ?
Is this cam glass replacement auto sticking and fitting in the back ?
no . you will need to unstick it with heat and put it then then putit again
i advice you go to any near center for service it will replace it so easily in 5 minutes
and to make sure he stick the back of the phone again

So, I contacted witrigs, and they will not have this item back in stock, ever..
Any ideas where I can find this rear camera glass replacement ?
I desesperate finding it.
Why replacement parts on X2 pro are not findable at all ?
What are your experiences with the camera area? Is it necessary, helfpful or bad to use an extra protection glass around it?
I bought this one (or identical) even before my device arrived, and using it since day 1, so I do not know honestly the experience without it.

The one that I used is with holes. First for the IR and second for flash.
I saw a few without holes but I did not buy as I read that it affects focus.
Hi, since the pixels suffer from lens flare, have you ever tried to put an anti-reflection glass on the cams? Could it work? I just don't know where to buy this type of glass
It isn't the best idea, since the "glass" that really matters is on the top of the sensor's surface, not the external glass we could touch.
sorry, I thought it was really what could be changed ... ok I tried ... thanks for the information

Lens flare is supposed be a problem with the misalignment of the layer between the sensor.
Nothing we could fix much..
that is, is it a construction problem between the sensor and the lenses?
However, I did a search and there are "homemade" methods, which explain how to make an anti-reflection coating. Maybe if it can work, I'll test it on my Xiaomi mi9t and publish the results
