These codes can be entered when accessing the Factory Settings menu item (Thanks to @agentdr8)
m123456 - opens Factory Settings in "super" mode -- makes another option visible; Launcher type (not sure what they mean though)
adbon - seems to enable adb on the usb port. Might enable it for all usb ports (haven't tested it yet)
*#hct#root# - enables persistent root adb on usb port(s) (might be an easy way to root roms, will have to do some testing)
adboff - disables adb on usb port(s)
keject - simulates the eject button for the DVD drive
kpower - simulates the power button
hcttouch - displays information about the touchscreen/calibration?
hctbtup - some sort of bluetooth update mechanism?
hctbtte0-9,0-9,0-9 - some sort of bluetooth testing code -- after the hctbtte there should be 3 digits, ranging from 0-9. Haven't looked into their meaning

The hct root code did root my rom with zero other steps necessary. Didn't even have to install superuser - it is already built in under settings.

My 8 debrided, I can not unlock bootloader.

Let me tell you..
I bought a Mi 8 a few weeks ago, I had problems with some payment and TV applications, and they told me that it was because I had the bootloader open, unsuspecting of me to close it ... EROR
It was necessary to connect it in EDL mode (dismount cover and test point) and place a Chinese rom, until here at least following all the steps I got it, thanks to a Russian guy who logged in to put the password to put the Rom. Well, what I can not do because the UNLOCk option does not work out does not come out in bold, all the drivers are fine, because I recognize it in adb commands. How can I release the bootloader ??
I stayed in this step, for the account I requested authorization for a redmi 3 pro, so I imagine that the permission is already given, because it lets me enter with my password, I have removed from the account the redmi 3 pro that was still in the cloud, I have also marked the USB debugging and the OEM unlocking, I start in fastboot, but as I say the driver recognizes them but does not give me the option to hit the unlock button.
'm going to get the error log of my unlock to see if anyone can help me. I have pressed the selection the button on my unlock status and I have added my account to the device.

cannot unlock bootloader

I cannot enter into download mode...can anyone help me please?

1. Enable developer settings
2. Enable oem unlock
3. Enable usb debugging (in dev settings)
4. Switch off mobile completely
5. Hold down volume + and volume -
And insert connect your usb c cable with your phone and to your pc
6. Download mode will be visible
7. Press volume + for more than 7 sec
8. Bootloader will be unlocked.

its not working
i enabled dev settings, oem unlock and usb debugging...but when i press the volume up+ volume down key and insert the cable, my phone doesn't boots to download mode

How to make Moto G5 Plus recognized in serial (COM) mode

I need my moto G5 Plus to be recognized on windows with serial (COM port).
I have a motorcycle E and as soon as I turn it off and connect in Windows already activates the COM port (number) but this Moto G5 Plus does not activate.
It is calling normal (goes into fastboot mode, adb), I need to reprogram it using QPST but as it is not recognizing there is no way to use it.
what I already did:
-> enabled developer mode
-> enabled debugging option
-> I entered BP Tools mode (this one appears in the device manager asking for some drives, but no driver I have downloaded from Motorola accepts, in Moto E accepts in MOto G5 Plus no).
Any options besides these to allow Windows to recognize it as serial (COM)?

scrcpy access problem with Linux

I have 2 Android devices: a tablet from Denver and a cell phone from Xiaomi (Redmi 9C), I installed scrcpy on my MX Linux pc, I have no problem to access tablet through

, but when I tried with Redmi 9C, I can only see it, the mouse does not work, did I miss some settings? The developer option is enabled (is there any other options inside developer options that I need to change? I only enabled developer options).
note:
1) I've tried enable file transfer when plugin the USB cable, seems to make no difference and
