Android 10 Bluetooth - ASUS ROG Phone II Questions & Answers

So i have been using a Samsung Note 10+(came with Android 10). Everytime i use my B&O Beoplay E8 would stutter whenever i put the phone in my pocket.
So i got the ROGPHONE 2(came with Android 9) and no stutter happened. Was so happy. Then when i upgraded to Android 10 bluetooth started to stutter the same way as my Note 10+.
Im guessing Android 10 is making the bluetooth weak?
I have tried 2 different B&O Beoplay E8 and they both stutter. And B&O gave me a dumb solution which doesnt work.

Headset mic way too sensitive

Hi All,
Got the Z1 last week about 9 dates ago as a replacement for a Samsung Galaxy S3. Generally liking it, though struggling to get used to the size of the handset. One major issue, though that I can't easily sort or find an answer to anywhere.
Basically, when I use a wired headset with inline mic for phone calls, the microphone is way too sensitive. It picks up every movement of the headphone cord, every rustle on my clothes, etc. Tried about 5 different headsets, including a dedicated Android one button Sennheiser headset. All the same. None of these proved a problem with
Anyone any ideas on what's causing it or how to fix it? Is there something simple I'm missing? It's making calls a painful experience.
Thanks in anticipation.

Did these problems with those mics occur on your galaxy s3?

Nope. In one case, the headphones/headset goes back as far as an IPhone 4, so about three years ago. This is the first time I've had the issue with any of them.

Check with your mic settings, after making settings then switch your phone and then switch it on. Perhaps this helps. Also check this issue by using hand free. :fingers-crossed: well, samsung 3 is better than this

Tried that. No change. S3 better than this? In this respect only. V pleased to see the back of the S3, as it constantly had firmware issues, caused, no doubt. Random battery life issues (sometimes lasting a day, sometimes a few hours), crashes, screen redraw issues, glitchy music playback. I could go on.

Woah galaxy s3 better then this? no way, i had one it was laggy in ui, because of it being ruined by touchwiz and also the fact it was an at&t variant so it had bloatware ontop of samsung bloatware lol

Cool! :victory: well, I don't know about the bloat ware but in my home, most of us are crazy for samsung

I think with Root you can get work anything even the sensitivity of your microphone. It can be easy like edit build.prop that something more but I am sure the sensitivity can be managed. If I find something I will post.

mate 20 pro firmware 9.0.0.166

Hi,
I heard that there is a new firmware update the one mentioned above, did anyone get the update and can post a change log of the changes?
I've seen mentions of 166 and even 171 but I'm still on 146 since I got the phone 2 weeks ago and did the first upgrade from 122.
Canadian M20P.
Hoping for camera fixes (less aggressive sharpening mainly and video letdowns) plus a few quirky bugs (I loathe the crippled functionality of the so-called "smart case").

i hope that camera fix comes in.. otherwise this might have to go back. The camera is very over hyped just like the mate 10 pro was. Even my old Honor 8 produced better shots.
What issues? I'm on 171 maybe I can tell u

What have you noticed? I noticed that scene detection doesn't work as well . Basically only picks up sky, greenery and that's kind of it?
Happy to hear about .171, I'm still stuck on .127 on Bell's network in Canada...

As long as it is getting better ? we are slowly getting there so it was a software thing and has nothing to do with hardware?
Are u from Germany? I'm from Germany but still didn't got the update
I have the 171 from funkyhuawei because I wanted to unlock my bootloader
Jeah it's definitely a software thing, but it's getting better, slowly but steady )

Guys i am having a problem...
Just bought a new redmi note 9 2 days ago and so far its a really goodphone...BUT it is reaaally laggy..i mean opening snapchat takes about 10 seconds and other apps too, the camera app is a disaster in terms of loading times..
are you goys experiencing the same issues or have any advice for me??
i am from austria so sorry for my bad english
Which version of MIUI is using ???
There's something fishy going on there
I don't have Snapchat installed on mine but the MIUI camera opens fully within a second
I presume you've rebooted at least once?

Hmmm, I have the 4gb/128gb version - I can see how the extra memory might make a bit of difference, especially given MIUI's bloat, but I wouldn't have expected you to experience such slow performance. I guess we're using the same EU rom. Maybe look at trying to strip out some of the bloatware? Might help a bit?

I think you could use this. Also, there are lot of videos on Youtube about debloating Mi devices, try it.

Intermittently Unable to Receive Calls

HI I am on MIUI Global 12.0.3 (QFKMIXM) Stable ROM 10 QKQ1.190825.002 and this week, my phone suddenly is not able to receive calls which happens intermittently, sometimes I can receive calls, sometimes not, but so many people called me this week (food deliveries, package deliveries, surgery call for my Wife) and they all said that yes they did call me and that I did not even receive an SMS or Missed Call notification.
I don't know if this symptom is related to finally making a XIAOMI account and logging into it via the phone's main settings.
Also I noticed since then, while rebooting the phone I get this notification that XIAOMI services could not be activated on both SIMs 1 and 2
This to me is a sad spectacle, I had this phone for about one year now and I admit to having it dropped a few times.
What could be the issue here guys? Would like to know if this is SIM carrier related or purely a manifestation of a hardware failure?
Damn, I don't want to buy a new phone.
PS I opted out of the Beta versions of Google Phone App and Messages
Anyone who have experienced this? please help and chime in??

Sorry bout the late reply, I got pixel experience rn but tbh use whatever, and I would say its worth it just be careful if it's ur first time, don't break your phone. Pixel ROMs feel hella snappy and smooth.

Hey guys I want to go back to android 10. Do I just factory reset? Or do I need to do something else? I'm not sure I was ever on that but I want to use it as it's more stable

Dang. I have a to.n of trouble with wifi calling an don't phone switching between towers and poor call reception. I'm thinking it's android 11 but am not sure. I'm wondering if each update was the problem when I reformatted the phone and choose updates. Where do I report problems?

I think you can do it through Samsung Members or you can contact Samsung through customer service
