Charger details - Xiaomi Mi CC9 / Mi 9 Lite Questions & Answers

I've lost my charger.
Can someone please give me a picture of the charger or tell me the part number, wattage, rated current etc?
Thank you.

X1 Charger specifications?

Hello,
I have been a victim of stolen bag recently.
Inside, among other things, was my original X1 wall charger, which is lost now.
At home I have a couple of other usb chargers but although they are 5V the Amber are different.
I know they work, but I prefer to use one closest to the original output for the wellness of battery.
(I slightly remember that the genuine charger was less than 1A)
Could someone pls check the original power adapter and tell me which exactly is the output?
(thanks in advance)

700ma. you don't have to keep close to the charger's specs other than the 5V. ampre rating is merely affects the speed of charging.
Just like how u charge from ur computer's usb port, you get maximum of 500mA /port anyway.

Thank you alvino!
Further to this question, can anyone tell me if a Blackberry In-Car Charger is OK with the X1?
Any usb port charger will work with your phone. Although, you might not wanna let your battery drain completely, one of the cells may fail and you'll get the dreaded "On button red light" syndrome... which I did. The main solution to that is to replace the battery. Considering the difficulties I've had, I'm sad I didn't pick a C905 instead
as long as it's 5volt it can be 1MEGA amp
amps are drawn not pushed
ohms law is
A = volt / Resistance
the device will draw as much as it require nothing more
It works just fine with my Zune charger, which is 5v 1.5A.

Car chargers, please recommend !

I'm going on a looooong trip next week, and will be away from home for about two weeks... Most of the driving will be of about 6 hours between hotel stops or whatever, and unless I'll be sleepy, I'll surely abuse my Note, haha. Will reach a hotel where I'll stay for 10 days, but the rest of the time will be wasted on the road...
So... a car charger is needed .
What would you guys recommend? In terms of brand, first... because I know some manufacturers write 1A on them, when they give not even half...
I've seen MOMAX chargers that give 1A @ 5V x 2 (had two USB outs) at about 15 bucks, for example.
I've also seen an orange-branded charger at 5 EUR (but it was almost double in lenght than the MOMAX one), with an included microUSB cable, that outputs 2A or 2.1A @ 5V. Would THAT one be safe to use? Or any charger that outputs >1.5A, for example...?
Also, will the phone charge faster if using a charger that gives 2A? I know it won't draw 1900mA out of it, lol, but still...

Formhault, last week I have purchased for my Note a Samsung car holder with 1A charger from this shop in Bucharest: http://www.alliselectronics.ro/inca...-ecsk1e1-pentru-galaxy-note-incarcatoare-auto
Unfortunately I did not test it yet on the car on a long drive and with the Note running empty; also due to the small form of the microusb plug I cannot perform any electric measurement.
I can confirm that measuring other car chargers of 0.5A and 0.7A I have found out that the o/p voltage is dropping a lot during the charging process, thus explaining the resulting low current and long charging time.
At he same shop you also can find a stand alone Samsung car charger, also of 1A at http://www.alliselectronics.ro/incarcatoare/auto/incarcator-auto-samsung-ecau16c-accesorii-tablete

The output current capability of a charger has nothing to do with how much curent the phone will draw while charging (of course the maximum rating of the charger must not be exceeded), on the condition that the 5V output voltage is not going too high at the lowest current consumption (when the battery is almost full).
Good luck in finding the suitable charger for your needs!
Mobile Inverter is the solution.

Try a mobile inverter and use your prefered wall charger. in 400W range you can charger all your devices. Try here:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=lawngarden&field-keywords=Mobile+Inverter
I use a chinese one here, one with two outlets and 2 usbs 1A each. It's big but it's the perfect solution. Otherwise i have a powerjolt from griffin ,5A for the phone during car navigation. http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Powerjolt-Dual-Universal-Micro/dp/B0042B9U8Q It's really small and stealth.

Erm... the first one looks expensive. I don't need a holder. No-go.
The second one is expensive, too, but I think I'd rather pay that money for THAT instead of the Momax one. GOSH, they don't state the lenght of the cable. Any idea how long that is?

Yeah... I kind of noticed that. The Note draws even 1200mA at times, and I tried with the original charger and a HTC wall brick charger (both giving 1A @ 5V). So yeah... guess the phone can draw more than the charger can provide, if that makes sense, lol.
So you're saying that even a 700mA @ 5V charger can give 1A to the phone? Or I got it all wrong?

WHAT?! LOL!
That makes me think... why not use a car battery rectifier and give it 50 amps to eat . Sorry, but that's the first thing that popped in my head when I heard "inverter".
Still not sure what that thing is, so let's proceed to the second part.

Heard Griffin are good!
You mean that Griffin Powerjolt (which is stated to give 1A) outputs 5 AMPS TO YOUR PHONE?!?!?!
Although that thing is cheap on Amazon... it's about 20 EUR here, in Romania . At least that's the smallest price I can find for it... so, not sure I'll go for that one .

No, I did not say that, on the contrary.
Here are some measured values:
0.7A car charger:
Open circuit voltage (disconnected phone):5.34V
Voltage under charging: 4.52V
Charging current: 0.6A measured on a resistor load
0.5A car charger:
Open circuit voltage (disconnected phone):5.31V
Voltage under charging: 3.16V
Charging current: 0.42A measured on a resistor load
Both chargers are doing the job, but very, very slow (2 to 3 hours from empty to full battery charge) and IF not many services are running on the phone.
Hope that helps......

Battery Monitor Widget - set the logging to every 60 seconds.
I attached the .txt logs to this post. Each log was done during charging, with Wi-Fi, Data and GPS off. Alarms were set to go off sometime in the morning (7 AM or 8, whatever), it is visible in the logs.
Even 2 and 1.6 amps were drawn at some point .
I used two chargers, because I wanted to see whether the HTC one can charge faster... if it can give more than 1A more often. It seems not, so I won't spend 10 bucks on a HTC one; will stick to the provided Samsung charger.

It is said that charging at lower currents/voltages is healthier for the battery. But no thank you... I'll buy a car charger that gives 1A, lol. Still haven't decided which one I'll go for, but anyway...
Thank you

[Q] Charging with output 2.0A charger any faster?

Guys my HTC one and probably every one else's is shipped with output 1.0 charger.
I was wondering if any one knows or has experience with 2.0a charger?
My Nexsus7 charger is 2.0A and I would like to use it to charge my HTC one but I am
want to make sure and ask around if that would damage my battery? and if that will
charge my phone any faster?
Thanks in advance!!

Not an electrician, but from my understanding, the phone will only draw the power it needs. So, it should be safe although it won't charge the phone faster.
I use my N7 charger on my m7 all the time.

Can you please tell me if you feel it charges any faster than the original HTC charger or about same?

What's the fastest way to charge the M7 ?

Dear all, As you can see from the title I want to know what's currently the fastest way to charge the HTC One M7, The supplied HTC charger which comes when you purchase the phone charges the phone way too slow, takes almost 3 full hours to charge from 0 - 100% and when you are using your phone at the same time it tends to charge even slower hence extending the 3 hour time required for a full charge. I know that HTC has released some sort of new charger that is meant to charge up the device a lot more quickly but I am not sure whether that one is compatible with the M7 or only with the newer HTC devices.
Also, if that charger is not compatible then are there any other 3rd party chargers compared to the HTC's own charger that will charge up the device more quickly ? The HTC's own charger is 1A whereas some on the market are 2.4A etc
Please any suggestions as to what charger is faster and more effective also please send links where I can purchase it.
Thanks.
You want a 2.0amp charger and a 24/28awg USB cable. That will shorten the time to about less two hours . you won't get quick charging ability but it will be an improvement.
Dear @eosman
Many thanks for your reply, can I kindly ask you to provide me with any links that you may have about the 2amp chargers which are good in your viewpoint for the M7. Also im not quite sure what cable you are talking about so if you can send me a link to for example eBay or Amazon where sellers may be selling these cables. As I might want to buy.
Thank you!
HTC Rapid Charger for M7. U can find em on HTC.com or Amazon. It states that it will charge this phone up to 40% faster than stock oem charger.. and it actually does..
@ bdizzle 1686,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I have heard about the HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 however, I have seen some other chargers also that are much higher in Amp than this one so question is will that charge the device even faster?
This HTC Rapid Charger is only 1.65A/ 1.25A in output whereas there are some chargers that go up to 2.4A so are those an even better choice or should you avoid them because there is a chance they can harm the device ?
Please let me know.

The rapid charger will be a big improvement compared to the 1.0amp stock charger. Going from 1.65amps to 2.0 amps will get you a 'little' bit more but the HTC M7 will only charge so quickly. Anything over 2.0 is useless for the M7. HTC only allows the M7 to be charged at a certain amperage to prevent the battery from being damaged/ overheating.
@eosman,
Can I please ask you to send me links to Amazon or eBay website whereby I can get this rapid charger 2.0. I have found many but they aren't HTC original product they are just third party chargers.
So if you find any decent priced and its original htc product then please send me a link.
Thanks for the information regarding the charging, I also kinda realized that anything over 2A would be useless as i tried a charger which was 2.4A and there wasn't much improvement in charge time as compared to 2.1A maybe. Also the rapid charges supports Qualcomm Quick Charge which is again a plus point to use with smartphones which use in-built Qualcomm processor chips.

Check it with this app. It should be about 4600mA if it's original.

I took some screenshot with stock charger and 27W charger.
