Freezing display while WiFi tethering

A new problem appeared on my NexusOne FRF91 - when using N1 as a WiFi hotspot for a while my display gets sometime frozen - I can switch phone on via a button, I can see a display but display doesn't react on any touch. I haven't noticed anything like this on FRF83 or FRF50. Anybody else with similar experience? Any idea about workaround, pls?

A Weird Problem of Phone's UI Auto Rotate.

Hi Everyone,
I have the Samsung Galaxy S updated to the JP6 platform. But the problem is phone's auto rotate doesn't work. I have no idea what happened. It worked after the update to JP6. But for the past one week it doesn't! I try to make the phone horizontal. But the alignment remains as if the phone was in vertical! Please could you help me out on this one?

[Q] Does anyone have the screen tinting on and off every few seconds?

The screen changes - a cream tinit that goes on and off every few seconds. Most noticeable on white screens eg Google Reader. Does anyone else have this, and how do I fix it!!! It's so winding me up and lets down an otherwise amazing screen and device.

Try turning off automatic brightness (settings, screen) and test if issue is still there.

99% certain its the automatic brightness being set on...just untick the box in the display section of settings, that should also disable the tinting effect when your on Google and internet sites

Go to Settings>Display>and on the bottom you will see "Auto adjust screen power" turn that off and you wont get the cream tint

The power settings seem to be the culprit. So far, it seems much better. I'll report back if it reverts back to disco lights.

I'd recommend to update your phone if you havent done so yet. Check if same issues arise if they do, and you eally want the setting maybe send the unit back?

I'm using midnote 3.4, but it did the same on gingerbread too.

Smart Lock failure

I seem to be plagued by the ubiquitous Smart Lock failure issue. I tried all the regular fixes and to no avail. I'm totally disabled everything Smart Lock related and just use my fingerprint to open the phone. I'm hoping and waiting for the update in to Pie to resolve this issue. Anybody have any other hints or suggestions?

Automatically Sync enabled by itself

I'm ruining Android 9.
After recent updates, it will keep turninh on Auto Sync. I have to turn it off many times a day. Reboot before, still the same.
Anyone can help?

Mine is doing the same thing and get very annoying. Have you figured out why it does it?

Auto sync turns on automatically
Facing the same issue on my poco f1 after some recent updates. I thought it was a bug in my phone. turns out, many are facing the same issue when i asked around. Why??
