Benchmarking, performance and related info - P8lite General

Hello everyone
I'm starting a new thread for posting benchmark results as proof of how our device can perform.
You can either post screenshots or type the results.
Also state the android version you are using and/or any tweaks (if any) to achieve these scores.
My results are in the second post.

I'll start with Geekbench 4.4.0 results.
When I had emui 4.0.3 my compute result is 1935 which is the highest I've ever gotten on this phone. I also enabled 4xmsaa and 2d hardware acceleration in developer options.
Compare this with the compute score of the p8 which is 1916. Amazing.
With Resurrection remix OS 5.8.5 (android 7.1.2) my highest Geekbench CPU results are:
Single core: 560
Multi core: 2487
Average P8 lite multi core score is 1974
The P8 multi core score is 2482
That's two times proven that my p8 lite beat the p8. Amazing. I'll post screenshots soon...

[APP] Celerity Lite performance benchmark

Posted my first Windows Phone 7 app recently, Celerity Lite 1.0. Provides Linpack and Whetstone CPU benchmarks as well as STREAM memory tests and standard file read/write speed performance benchmarking. The Linpack and Whetstone benchmarks are standard, but with implementation in C# take a bit of a performance hit which accurately reflects the performance on Windows Phone 7.
Currently working on a full version that adds GPU and network performance benchmarks as well as online reporting and comparison. Should be ready with 1.1 full in a few weeks.

Post your Antutu Benchmark scores here

Post your antutu benchmark scores here so we can compare with others. The huawei p9 is a really fast device and gets amazing scores ,only the 3d performance could be a little bit better but still this phone is a beast. So here is my score.Stock nougat B360.

Highest Antutu Scores EVER on a Huawei P8 Lite!

BIGGEST SCORES EVER IN ANTUTU 6.2 !!!
News: I touched 50.000 points in latest Antutu version with the same tweaks from below, just that downscale texture is disabled.
News: @HaiderHady has touched 40.000 POINTS IN ANTUTU! Congratulations!
Code:
[I][U]OLDER POST[/U][/I]
Same settings as below--
Ran Antutu 5.7.1 and...
But first,[U] I know[/U] this is not newest Antutu but at that time when the older biggest score on (35186) was on Lollipop, same as now EMUI 3.1 B204, in Q1-Q4 2015 there was no Antutu 6.2. All 35XXX scores were made on 5.7.1 of Antutu, and in dates differing from Q1 2015 to Q1 2016, where there was no EMUI 4.
THE SCORE IS..... (drum beats...) 42.474!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOWOWOwowowow. But, don't get too excited, the resolution scaling and everithing was turned down or off to get that performance, the kernel needs A LOT of optimizations to get that performance
~This is just a proof of concept that you can squeeze such performance for such of a low-budget device. It is just 1000 points far from a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but that I'm sure it's ran just like this, with no extreme downscalling~
There will be a screenshot, just squeeze your eyes and see that is for real 42.474 and it beats the Note 4 in some categories
Rooted, GlTools installed went to antutu bench and 3d bench and put:
-Anti Aliasing disabled
-Lower render resolution 0.25x
-Force 16Bit Rendering
-Optimize GLSL shaders
-Texture decompression disabled
-Texture recompression disabled
-Downscale textures 1x1
-Half-Float texture hack
~Other settings:
-Force GPU redering on in dev. options
Code:
[U][I]OLDER POST[/I][/U]
The score: 33055
I will let screenshots later. Why? I want to test one more time with the power management option on "Performance" because that was on "intelligent" and the battery was on red indicator when I ran the benchmarks (>20)
EDIT: Got even higher scores!-- Disabled force 4xMSAA -> Got 334XX something
Will let screenshots

Why use 4XMSAA...... It decreases performance as it is an anti aliasing option ....
P.S. -I will never use a custom kernel on EMUI because the device becomes slower
-THIS IS NOT THE HIGHEST SCORES OF A P8LITE! The Highest score is on EMUI 3.1, not 4, maybe I will test and EMUI 3.1 and try to get an even higher score (but I don't know if there was used an custom kernel or not)

Hmm... ok then I will try without MSAA 4x and with performance power option to see what scores I can get.
Check OP for screenshots, and if you know some performance tweaks tell me!

Great!
But all performance a loose the beatty is not good in my point of view that is way i don't turn of the graphics options.

Flashed EMUI 3.1. Will test tomorrow. But I have to mention there are no build.prop tweaks, hope the prformance is not lost

Emui 3.1 is android 5, it will have a better score, 35000 more or less.
Android 6 is "more heavy".

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, i got just 28000 with Force GPU rendering in dev. options. I searched on google Huawei P8 Lite Antutu and went to pictures and almost every photo was saying "35XXX", but I saw the scores are on Antutu 5.7.1-5.7.3 .Maybe the Antutu is "more heavy"
I will re-run the Benchmark with GlTools and everything on disabled and see what I score.
Still, I feel that EMUI 3.1 is a lot smoother than 4, I don't know why the scores a lower
EDIT: In detail, the score is 28802

Is the default.
All that benchmark app only use 4 cores, they can't stress enough the cpu to bring all 4 cores in Huawei.
For example my old 4 cores Alcatel reach the same values and it have the same cpu speed.
90% of the apps only need one core to work so...

Let your phone cool down....Charge it to 100℅ and benchmark with charger disconnected and normal mode on in Power Manager.
Remeber to keeo your phone cool while benchmark and disable developer options...
Then give results

Sorry for non-responding, done how you told me, with no gltools tweak and got a score of 28308. I'm seeing that 3D scores ale lower than usual, and a small difference in other categories. I'm sure if we would've got OpenGL 3.0 we would get a lot more in scores, because unlocks the "marooned" test
P.S. The 42.XXX score is achieved in Antutu 5.3.1 with gltools tweaks, the scores I gave you are in 6.2, with no gltools tweak and dev. options turned off

Holy fukin shyttt..... om facking god. Finnaly solved the problem with 3D score. TRIPLED THE SCORE with a simple tweak, what I am going to post later this evening.
Will let some screenshots, too.
3D: right on the edge, 6000 points. Massive!
Now, I just need to figure out that CPU problem. Maybe you, @persona78 you can help me. It is this problem not related to a build.prop thing? (I'm asking you because BetoOS build.prop tweaks. Thanks!)

Antutu Score for LeEco Le 2 on AospExtended oreo rom

By using this rom [ROM][X52x][8.1.0][UNOFFICIAL] AospExtended oreo for LeEco Le2, on latest updated antutu benchmark app, it shown as 92,599.
How is that possible??
this is a new version (v7), it has new way to calculate the score, don't compare it with older version (v6) numbers
Hi! It's something with benchmark (I think it happens again, last time that big difference on one device was at the last major antutu update). Just benchmarked my phone and it's 95851 score on miui9 (with previous antutu version I got something around 62k-68k on the same rom). I think that it's othing but marketing, to show the slower SoCs more powerfull to newcomers of the smartphone area, or for those who won't know that the antutu's major update rolled out, or the third versoin, it's using the second but taking into account those people who are buying new phones now.

Very low geekbench4 score and low fps in games.

Hello, as I mentioned I am facing low fps and poor performance in pubg and when I ran the geekbench test it games 1k in singlecore and 3k in multicore test. I am using stock oos oreo with blushark( I don't remember the name lol) kernal with unlocked bootloader. It also shows only 3 cores idk why, and the score is very low compared to other scores on browser.geekbench which shows 2k for single core and 5.5k for multicore. Please help!
I'll try to keep updating my research on this.
I did a hard reset and installed omni rom 8.1 which got me a 80% increase in single core benchmark (~1850) and 25% increase in multi core benchmark(~3925). Single core benchmarks are now around the same as of what others test results are showing in browser.geekbench, but multicore benchmark is still less. :/
Aah I settled on omni ROM 8.1 with caesium kernel and disabled touchboost and changed big cluster governer to ondemand from conservative. I now could play pubg smoothly on 1280x720p with high graphics and extreme fps thanks to gfx tool app before I couldn't even play the game with so smooth graphics and 956x500 blah blah resolution. I noticed the CPU would throttle down and reduce the frequencies for big cluster to like ~1530mhz and little to ~1350 MHz but the gameplay was good.

Stock kernel will give you the best results IMO. Try the Bane kernel, is good too

Will try that too! Thanks!
The stock kernel gave me the above result 1850 singlecore and 3900 for multicore and after caesium kernel I got 4050 in multicore and 1650 in single core. But I don't how to go back to stock kernel without reinstalling the rom :/

Use a file manager, such as Solid Explorer, to copy boot.img from the ROM zip file and flash it in TWRP by selecting Image in the install option.
Sent from my OnePlus 3T using XDA Labs
Thanks to BillGross
I am back on the stock kernel of omni rom 8.1 which gives me a average score of 1900 in single core and 3900 in multicore tests and pubg runs great on hdr 720p 60fps although it doesn't run at full 60 fps and there are some stutters here and there but gameplay is very good.
Simple fact: oos sucks except its face unlock.
