My k20 pro isnt booting up - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

I tried installing custom rom for the first time now i did it with xiaomitool but it gave error that it couldnt wipe data and my phone stuck on boot.
Then on my phone i booted to twrp and frm there i wiped dalvik cache and data with a wrappedkey error but i continued and flashed pixel exp plus and formatted data and when i rebooted system i again got stuck there
Then once again i went to twrp and tried wiping dalvik cache and data again but this time with wrappedkey amd some decrypted error to and formated data and then tried rebooting to system. Again nothing worked pls help my otherwose my parents are going to kill me
EDIT : Also my laptop has mac os so i think there isnt much i could do with pc and thats only why i used unofficial xiaomitool in the first place

If youre coming from xiaomi rom or xiaomi eu rom you need to format data ( option in twrp where you type yes) not just wipe data, then reboot to recovery (twrp) again and then follow instruction of rom you want to install. Some custom roms require flashing vendor firmware before flashing rom , then gapps , then magisk if you require root ( if magisk wont install then after flashing rom reboot to twrp again). Also xiaomitool is not ideal for installing custom rom but for recovery and fastboot roms ( one that came originally with phone when phone had locked bootloader, never tick wipe and lock)
Disregard my comment about xiaomitool, had thoght that you mean miflash tool

But how
That rom is not in my phone anymore nor i know how to install back to xiaomi rom btw my phone is indian varient

UPDATE
I once again tried flashing pixl exp plus using a diff tutorial which included flashing some disable force encryption and now my device wont even boot into twrp its stuck on fastboot mode.
Now i only hot two question :
1.) will i be able to charge my phone in fastboot mode (or any other way?)
2.) will i be able to flash stock miui rom in fastboot mode through my mac (or if theres any other way pls tell me)

Yes you will be able to charge through fastboot
Just flash twrp again thn boot into twrp and go to wipe - format data and type yes.
Until and unless you format data you will not be able to do anything
Thn download Indian vendor zip ,your required rom and disableforceencryption.zip in your pc and copy it to the phone while in twrp.
Go to wipe and wipe cache ,dalvik ,data, system, vendor
Thn flash vendor zip followed by rom and dfe
Now reboot

device is jusr stuck on fastboot

Only if you forget to change the option in the Mi Flash Tool, which is easily done if you're not paying attention. If the fastboot ROM is the correct version for the phone then you won't brick the phone if you forget to change the flash option. You will just need to unlock the bootloader again before doing anything else.
After flashing a fastboot ROM, boot into MIUI once so that the install finalises itself.
Then flash TWRP and boot into TWRP.
Do a factory reset, then format data. No need to wipe anything else.
Reboot into TWRP to ensure the newly formatted data partition is properly mounted.
Now copy across and flash the ROM of choice plus any optional extras.
There is no need to flash dfe files or vbmeta, etc.
Assuming you've flashed the latest fastboot ROM, then there's no need to flash vendor or firmware files.

Mi 9 - Can not boot, even after MiFlash

To keep it short: tried to flash a new MIUI Version and now i cant get any system to boot, even after flashing with MiFlash.
My Bootloader is unlocked, if that helps
My history of failure
- I successfully unlocked my bootloader
- i flashed twrp
- i wiped only data
- i flashed xiaomi.eu miui 11 https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/9-9-26-27-v2-miui-11.52341/
- didnt boot the system
- went back to twrp
- wiped á la "factory reset" (the pre-setting)
- then my sdcard folder was "scrambled" with folder like "IK76889AJSNDKAJ"
What I tried already:
- copying the rom again, copying didnt work
- then i downloaded and flashed cepheus_global_images_V10.2.6.0.PFAMIXM fastboot rom
EDIT: and flashed sucessfully via MiFlash
- still doesnt boot
Any idea what i can do?
Try to flash TWRP again, format data not wipe. Wipe cache/dalvik cache. Flash any ROM you want. It's take sometimes up to 15 min to boot, with clean flash.
In bad case, if you flash wrong version with your base one and choose “ flash all and lock “ in bottom bar. Your device is brick. Like I have a Mi 9 china version, when i flash global rom and forget choose “ flash all” . My device is brick . Hope you not , fr

Stuck on fastboot mode everytime i try a Rom

I'm getting stuck on fastboot mode everytime i flash derpfest rom , i've tried ''fastboot reboot'' i've tried to install ''twrp'' or boot to it , nothing works everything i try takes me back to the fastboot logo although the install of the rom was succesfull , i've tried with TWRP-3.3.1-8-siankatabg and also with regular TWRP and also with ORANGE FOX recovery , i'm on miui 11.0.7 EU version , can anyone help me
In TWRP, format data and then flash derpfest ROM. Take note that your data will be wiped though.

I did just that I placed the ROM in /tmp/ using TWRP file manager then I formated system and cash and data and then I did the data format by writing "Yes" then went back and erased everything a second time for good measure but still after flashing the ROM I get stuck on fastboot with no ability to boot to recovery or use commands like "fastboot reboot" the only solution for me that time is to reuse mi flash to flash stock rom which doesn't work but lets me boot into recovery which i use to flash miui 11.0.7 zip which apparently works just fine .
Also the basics are covered I made sure to allow usb debuging and update TWRP and all of that
1. flash using miflash
2.setup ur phone
3.enable dev optmake sure oem unlock too
4.going for twrp
5. wipe
6. flash ur rom
7.dont go reboot to system
8.format data then rebot to system
In case nothing else helps you can try to flash vbmeta first, following these instructions.
Cheers

Cannot boot into recovery (TWRP)

As the title suggest, I fail to boot into TWRP.
I have unlocked the phone and flashed TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/raphael/twrp-3.3.1-0-raphael.img).
I could boot into TWRP using Power + Volume Up , wiped everything (except vendor) and pushed a custom rom to the internal storage.
I restarted the phone for some reason and cannot boot into TWRP anymore. Whatever I do, I end up in fastboot. Tried to flash various versions of TWRP with the same result.
Can you guys help me out?
Edit: I flashed the corresponding Xiaomi fastboot image and repeated the process, same problem.
Edit: Solved by repeating again.

In future, don't wipe everything. You should only need to do the factory reset in TWRP, which will automatically wipe data, cache and dakvik. If you are flashing over MIUI then you will also need to format data.
There is almost never any need to wipe anything else in TWRP when doing normal custom ROM flashing.

Mi 9 don't boot after flashing

Hi,
I need some help for flashing custom rom on my Xiaomi Mi 9.
I unlocked the phone's bootloader yesterday but got soft bricked while wiping data and trying to reboot.
I can flash stock official rom with the all in one tool and it works perfectly but when I try to flash any other
custom rom the phone starts bootloop or gets stuck on fastboot mode.
I modded different other android phones before but I never got stuck like that with one of them.
Can someone help me ?
Sorry for bad english

1. Flash TWRP.
2. Boot to TWRP.
3. Wipe cache/dalvik and FORMAT data (don't wipe system, it's needless and you may stuck in fastboot if you will reboot after that without flashing a ROM).
4. Flash custom ROM (you may use usb otg or adb push).
5. Reboot to system (first boot might take 5-10 minutes).

What custom ROM do you flash? What prerequisites it have?
Have you formated data (not wipe)?

I tried everything, but I just flashed this morning a modified vbmeta.img and then it seems to work for most of roms.
When I flash Resurrection Remix the phone boots only in fastboot but Paranoid and Descendant X works fine
so I'm satisfied. Thanks for help

Try again flash 4 file frimware and let device start to system after that reboot to download mod and flash vbmeta.tar and let your device start to system
After that reboot to stock recovery and wipdata and cach and reboot to download mod and now flash twrp
The wrong is with your bootloader if you cant fix it try to search your problem in google
You are not only one have this problem
I did every thing from scratch. Even lock and unlock the bootloader.
I am tring to make sence. Vbmeta is "verified boot". So the idea is trick the phone with our own bootloader so that we can flash twrp.
Since i cant flash twrp, vbmeta should be updated.
Am i right?

Unlock bootloader, factory reset, unsure oem is unlocked and grayed out in settings >developer options.
Then flash vbmeta, manual reboot to download mode, flash twrp, boot to twrp, factory reset in twrp , flash magisk zip then factory reset again, now boot system.
The vbmeta you flash is empty and allows flashing third party zips.
Hiii, i did almost everthing, but when i boot in recovery and go to mount, system partition read-only is checked. already tried 4 for times reboot to recovery but still checked.

Go ahead with the steps. Ignore mount system.
Let's see what happens
Worst scenario, you soft brick the phone or bootloop which can be fixed by flashing stock rom again.
Make sure you have stock rom and you backup your data
Any way to pass SatefyNet?
Instal this path in Magisk:
