AppGallery has been greatly improved compared to the experience on the Huawei Mate30 Pro, and can now download many apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Tik-Tok and Snapchat. And at the same time, Huawei Phone Clone can also migrate your data and apps from your old phone.
Mrwhosetheboss showed how Huawei has focused on the HMS eco-system and there are more and more apps you can find on AppGallery just half a year later. Also, with regard to maps, this might actually be a better solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3wweGxXJ7Y
In addition, we get a look at the magnification effect under 25X Zoom, and Huawei P40 Pro is still the king of smartphone cameras.

I basically use the search every time I open an app or make a call.
So coming from a Mate 10 Pro, it bothers me a lot that the P20 Pro dazzles me with the white interface every time i pull down the search.
This is on a P20 Pro CLT-L29 on EMUI 8.1.0.128 (same behavior also on 8.1.0.120 and 8.1.0.109)
My Mate 10 Pro remains dark, see screenshots attached
Is this a bug or does someone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

This is the only part of the ui that remains white, the swipe down menu, all the rest are black

I got my Huawei P20 Pro about a month ago.
I love it, but I started noticing that when I send any video in any quality through Whatsapp or Instagram, it gets seriously pixelated, like I recorded with a 15 year old phone.
At first I thought it was an app bug, but my friend got the same phone and her videos send normally, maybe a little compressed, but nothing serious like mine. Should I go to customer service or is there anything I can do to fix this?
Edit: I just screenshoted the same picture on my P9 and P20 Pro and sent them through Instagram, and the screenshot from P9 looked normal, while P20 Pro looked like garbage.

Edit 2: My friend also has this Instagram problem, but the Whatsapp video quality being garbage is still only me.

The P40 Pro strikes a balance between refresh rate and resolution. It stands out from its competitor, which only focuses on one side. Its battery life is still very good when using the 90Hz display.
In terms of software, AppGallery has made remarkable progress. WhatsApp, Facebook, and Snapchat can now be downloaded in the AppGallery. Phone Clone ends up being able to solve most problems related to the absence of Google Apps. Watch the video to see SuperSaf's full experience with the phone, after a week of use.

Trying to find the best tools before my airshow vacation and was wondering what is the best camera app replacement for this phone.. if you take a gander at my other posts.. I am trying to remove the heat restrictions that the phone is restriciting me from making videos using the stock app.. it claims the phone is too hot...but other apps work fine.. so what is the best OTHER photo or video app out there for this phone.

Probably one of the gcam variants although they differ and are no substitute, there are no XML files for a lot of them and as such they're no replacement for the OnePlus camera.
You could try some others but you'll have to sacrifice certain features or entire lenses, for reliability I couldn't say use anything but the OnePlus camera, but gcam is more than likely the best alternative (if any)
