1st I tried to root my sm-920c but failed,
2nd I tried to install the using odin but it still got no luck. 'It says write error' I tried many times. Now what should I try?
hmm... i failed alot of things multiple times and this never happened to me.

So I wanted to install a Android 4.4 on my aunt's Galaxy Note using Cyanogenmod 11. So now I've been trying all day and night to install a custom recovery. But I still didn't succeed because Odin keeps failing!
So basically I closely followed this guide in order to get CWM Recovery Advanced installed on this Note. But every time I try Odin fails again and again ( it says "<ID:0/007> Complete(Write) operation failed. <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)" ).
I tried everything, restarting again and again (and again...) trying different USB ports, different USB cables different versions of Odin, different custom recovery files, restarting PC, restarting Odin, not restarting Odin... but unfortunately nothing worked yet..
As this is genuinely frustrating, I would really appreciate any help in this, so thanks in advance.
UPDATE: So I decided to maybe try a different approach. I download the Android 4.1.2 Samsung stock ROM (I forgot to mention before it was on Android 2.3.6) and installed it using Odin... surprisingly this time Odin DID work. However, when I retried installing the custom recovery Odin again failed. Indeed Odin hates me.
UPDATE 2: Finally I was able to install a custom recovery! The file PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT9-ORA-5.08.5.tar.md5 from here worked in Odin. So I then tried to installed the new version of CWM Recovery Advanced through the custom recovery that did install in Odin, but well it failed again.. I think something might be wrong with that custom recovery, I'll try a different one. Anyway I can say I bypassed the main obstacle, so no need for help now.
The Philz new recovery file you are trying to flash will never flash using odin no matter how much you try.
As you already have cwm recovery, flash raw r6 kernel from recovery, then reboot into the new recovery and flash kitkat roms.
ok so i have a note 4 n910t. It started to act up two days ago rebooting randomly and i did a factory reset along with clearing cache. It was on stock 5.1.1 dok2. I then tried to odin the firmware instead and i ran into some errors. Odin wouldnt finish and always fails and the phone in download mode says flash error failed and sometimes i had emmc error.
I tried even the PIT file with the stock firmware. I cannot try any other firmware with odin because you cannot downgrade after on dok2.
Can someone please help with this issue?
Did you try smartswitch?

Hello,
I have been trying to fix a friends t-mobile phone (note 5), he got it from ebaya, dumb i know. It seems like it was rooted because it wouldn't make calls and had super user. I loaded the official latest software via odin and only made it worse, wont even load to OS now.
I have loaded several SWs to try and restore (using odin)
these are the SWs i tried
N920TUVU1AOGE_N920TTMB1AOGE_N920TUVU1AOGE_HOME.tar (.CM fail) original note 5 tmobile sw.
N920TUVU1BOH4_N920TTMB1BOH4_N920TUVU1BOH4_HOME.tar (.CM fail) revision, still official.
N920TUVU2DPD1_N920TTMB2DPD1_N920TUVU2DPD1_HOME.tar (pass) latest official
Odin gives me a consistent pass with official N920TUVU2DPD1_N920TTMB2DPD1_N920TUVU2DPD1_HOME software
It keeps rebooting into recovery mode,
Tried doing a wipe from recovery mode. Error - (Failed to mount /preload (no such file or directory)
Every time the device loads into recovery mode it shows error...
"dm-verity verification failed...
need to check drk first..."
I dont know what to do, knox shows 0x0
used different PCs
different cords
different odins
i must have installed it a dozen times, i even removed the cache file and re packaged the .tar any help would be fantastic.

Maybe try using the PIT file to do repartitioning of the partitions? Which recovery is on it?

Since you said it was already rooted, why don't you go to the T-Mobile thread download and flash one of the Roms and kernels they have instead of trying to flash stock?
My N910T went bricked last night after running Screen Burn-Fix for hours.
After several tries it was able to boot and function normally except having random boot.
Previous OTA upgrade may have been dirty I assumed so I decided to clean wipe and re-flash 6.0.1 with odin.
Wiped everything with TWRP except external storage (had no SD card).
Flashed with official EJ2 and succeed at 2nd try.
New system runs smooth however bootup was laggy.
I figured I should have done the wiping again after first fail. So I wiped it and start over again.
Now it fails every time.
It was difficult enough to flash twrp. 2 out of 3 times it would fail.
Flashing ROM fails every time.
I get mmc-read failed in Odin sometimes.
eMMC write fail aboot sometimes.
Says no PIT binary sometimes.
Sometimes it would not respond to the 3-key boot to Odin mode.
Tried different versions of Odins /Samsung driver/USB port/ USB cable
Haven't tried unofficial Roms and the phone is not rooted.
Any help?
Now Odin mode says as I try to install TWRP
ODIN: flash read failure
ERROR: there is no pit binary
ODIN: flash read failure
Problem solved by flashing a moded 6.0.1 zip file with SD card over twrp.
Could have been connection problem in odin.

could you direct me to the file you used please?
I flashed Android Wear onto my watch (March 4th release on this page) and Google Services was super buggy and wouldn't stop crashing, so I tried to flash the vanilla OS back but it constantly fails.
I've tried flashing the Tizenmod Full Restore zip from the page, but it wouldn't flash. The first time it said "INVALID SIGNATURE: BOOT" on the screen so I tried to flash it again and this time it said nothing on the screen. I spent several more hours trying everything, the 'Extreme Recovery' with TizenModFull but I could not flash it either so I tried the stock firmware, 2 different versions of Odin, different USB ports, different firmware's and even tried re partitioning with a PIT file I got from Heimdall on my main computer but I still couldn't flash anything onto the watch (When flashing with re partition and a PIT file it said "INVALID SIGNATURE: PIT", but not consistently).
EDIT: The logs from Odin this guy got are pretty much exactly the same as mine.
Does anything know anyway I can get the stock firmware back onto my watch? Thank you.
