Need help. Recently updated to MIUI Global 11.0.1 and now 2 problems with my Samsung Gear Sport.
It keeps losing the Bluetooth connection and no notifications are coming through.
I set no restrictions for battery saver for:
- Galaxy Wearable
- Gear S plugin
- Samsung Accessory Service
And permanent notifications allowed. Cleared cache.. Don't know what else to do.

Hi, well, that problems are the same I had before the switch to Tizen, buuut... now ATN Manager is no option anymore. Many ppl here and even more in the Gear 2 forums say that the most recent Gear Manger (The one from 3 days ago) should do the trick and pass notifications to the Gear (2/NEO). Well.... No? I am on a Note 1 (GT-N7000) with CM11 FW and have some nice problems. Not only the fact that phone calls are silent for me and the one calling me, nope. Notifications are never sent over to the phone. Yes, I activated the Security setting and yes, I selected app and removed the limitation in the Gear manager Settings. Anyone an idea? Did ANYONE get that really work and if so, how?
ATN Manager has bluetooth hooks for android, not tizen...
Out of nowhere on phone reboot it managed to pass ONE notification. Now it's silent again. Strange thing that...
On my note 4 I had disabled all the ANT related apps and services.
SO I did the same when I got my note 9.
Anything to make the phone make it thru the day.
Then yesterday I got the Gear Watch 42mm which was on offer for note 9 users.
Im just curious if the watch which connects via bluetooth needs this ANT service for anything.
Or I can keep it disabled.
Hi everyone I have a little problem with my smartwatch a Samsung gear S3 and my brand new mi9 t, I pair it without any problem but it keeps disconnecting, there is for sure some setting that I'm not seeing, usually in the morning I bike and I need the gps Wich from mine understanding is given through my phone, it keeps showing acquiring position without any success I have already set the phone on the task manager so it's not going to kill the process and it's going to leave the Samsung Gear app running in background but for some reason still keeps disconnecting and I'm not being able to get the GPS work, anyone experienced similar problem?
I have been using the Galaxy fit band (R370) and recently upgraded with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 (R840). I have noticed that samsung health does not connect the watch3 as a heart rate monitor (HRM) during running workouts.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
0. Pair watch3 with the galaxy wearable app.
1. Open Samsung Health app on phone (N10+ in my case).
2. On the home page, click the running man icon under "exercise" item. This should open the Running workout page.
3. On the top left corner of the map, there should be the words "Detecting...". This should be for GPS location.
4. Under "Detecting...", there is no "HRM" connection when I use my watch3. Heart rate also doesn't show in the Samsung Health app when I start the workout.
If I pair my Galaxy Fit with the phone, HRM will be connected and the band will have notification. There is no notification on the watch3 when I start the running workout. See screenshot attachments for details.
I am not sure if my particular watch3 has problems or its a samsung health issue. Can someone check if they have the same problem?

Have you installed the latest version of Samsung Health on both watch and phone? I wasn't notified of the updates for these and just stumbled across them by chance. I assume you also got the firmware update, what country are you in?

I have updated Samsung Health on phone (v6.11.0.061) and watch (not too sure how to get version number, but there is no update in galaxy store - Hong Kong version). My watch is running the latest firmware R840XXU1BTG6.
In the Samsung Health phone app, The Galaxy Watch3 is connected as a registered accessory. All stats sync from the watch to the phone like HR, stress, blood oxygen, sleep, including workouts recorded on the watch... The watch does not connect to the phone as a heart rate monitor for my run.
Hmmm, not sure then. I don't know if it's a regional thing. There have been a lot of discrepancies on health features depending on the country you are in., could it be that?
Maybe you need to speak to Samsung support, as painful as that might be!

Just got my new Galaxy Watch 5. It looks great, very smooth appearance
Installed it in the usual way after removing all the old apps and starting from scratch including Watch 5 patch.
Good news - Galaxy Wear found the watch straight away and did the bluetooth pairing.
Bad news - Galaxy Wear immediately said "This watch is not supported on this phone."
I'll be having an other go later on, but it's looking like the watch will be going back.
If you have an older copy of Wearables try that after uninstalling the new version. Make sure you get all the apps for the watch.
Firewall block the old version's updates though before opening it... or it will update.
Conversely try updating everything including the watch firmware. Sequence* of your actions here can effect the outcome. Wearables can be quit the terror but I've always gotten my Buds+ to work right, one way or another
Samsung tech may be useful as may Samsung forums. It sucks but so does a lot of things; bennies for success, nothing for failure.
*trial and error, and yes it can take multiple attempts. DO NOT factory reset!
Clearing the system cache and especially a network reset may help. Make sure Wearables has all its permissions, CHECK!!! It will puke on you if it doesn't! No warnings why either
I've been back again, tried everything I learned in getting the Watch 3 to work. But this one is different, it's not like the failures before when something just doesn't work or goes into a loop. This is the first time Galaxy Wear has connected to the Watch and then said definitely that it is not comparible with the phone. I'm having bad feelings about it.
The other thing I would say though is, are Samsung going to sell the Watch 5 into China? If so it should work with Chinese phones - unless it has different firmware.
Watch 5 returned. Waiting for Pixel Watch.

Another horrible news about Vivo Security and policies.
Anyone had the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 to work with the Wear OS version from Vivo app store?
yes i have the watch 5 pro working i have had vio x fold, vivo x fold plus and now vivo x fold 2 and it worked on all
what you have to do is uninstall all the versions you have of samsung wearables and plugins then go to this link and install this version of wearables http://samsung-gear.apk.watch/2.2.41.21071361/for/huawei-honor-8
once that is installed open up the settings of ur phone go to bluetooth and connect to your watch then open up the wearables app and it will download an update follow it through and it will work perfect for you
just remember to set the wearable and watch os apps to be locked in the task killer screen and set the battery management to high power for the wearable and watch os apps to make sure you get all your notifications and for it to stay connected

I have both watch 4 and watch 5 connecting to vivo without any issues. Do not use the Samsung wearable app from the play store but use the above apk. Once the phone is synced, all the Samsung plugins gets updated to the latest version.
