Does anyone know the size of the system partition for both 16G and 32G Moto X? My current phone has 1 GB for the system partition, which gives me very limited space for app installation.

You're right. App isn't installed to /system and it goes to /data. I don't have a good word to call it. Maybe "internal storage", which is kind of confuse too, since Moto X does not have any external storage.
Do you guys notice any space issue for installing new apps? My current phone only have 1 GB for "internal storage" even it has 16GB in total for storage space. 1GB sounds a lot but I only can have 80+ apps. Some app is very large, for example, Chrome is 65MB.
How to increase the system partition moto g 2014, I want to install the Stock GApps and just missing me 100 MB to install, if anyone knows me can say how ?, Thanks a lot
I've saw this link:
leakite. com/ 2016 / 06/ revised- how- to- unbrick- qualcomm -android. html
If I understood what we need are a MotoG with Root and 16GB microSD.
And swap image of a MotoG-2014.
So, I dont understand very well, but who know, pls , take a look at link and see if something could be done.
Thanks,
Take off the spaces.

exfat Is Not Supported By Moto G / NTFS Type FDD/HDD IS wokring In ES Explorer !
Guys! I got a Moto G 2014(new mainboard since 2 months), its full rooted. What do you need???
EDIT: I see, if my moto g2 was bricked, i don't got this "new" bootloader mode with the partitions...
I set my backup to stock again and provide you the image from mine phone(XT1068 Dual Sim Germany Retail). I can do the image over OTG on my 32 GB USB Drive.
How To dump eMMC To Backup.img
1. Install CM 13.0 SNAPSHOT / ANY BUILD
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=titan
2.Monster Kernel For MM // Supports exFat >>
KERNEL ATTACHED AS ATTACHMENT >
3. Connect Ua OTG FDD/HDD OR MEMORYCARD WITH FILE SYSTEM exFat / NTFS As FAT32 Does Not Support File Size More Than 4GB Per File
4. IF OTG/MEMORY CARD IS Mounted Properly > Go To FileManager [CM] > /mnt/media_rw/RANDOM_HEX_CHAR/
Other Way To Find Path > In Terminal [Activate In Developer Tools] / Also Enable Root > first "su" >then "df"

I didn't need an extra kernel wtf . Why should you use another kernel?
Here, from the Stock 6.0 rooted Motorola ROM: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx_V5p5egpmsS01TeDUzdXN2eWM/view?usp=sharing
Downloading 500 MB.
The file is exactly 4 GB/4096 MB big after extraction(with 7-Zip), and not 16 GB
I hope it will help...

Because You USed FAT32 , And FAT32 Can't Have File Size More Than 4GB !
Edit : eMMC Size Is About 16GB , So ua Backup.img Size Should Be Upto 14.~~GB In Size & After Compression It Will Be Around 900-1024MB / 1-2GB In Size

Please try it on other variants(like the XT1063 and so on too if you have the 8 GB variant)
Google Drive Link(Image packed with 7-Zip so use 7-Zip for extracting)

I think one thing is happened, because it isn't normal that the device is regonized as a HID device.
The image is maybe for people with the "new" qualcomm brick Mode. In the new mode you have a mass storage device if you connect your bricked phone

Hello dear xda users!
I was researching the qualcomm unbricking forums and suddenly found a post that said the PBL(primary bootloader) can switch the boot source to sdcard in case of emmc failure.
That means we can dump an emmc from a working phone to a sdcard and boot of it.
Unfortunately i don't have an appropriate dump for my phone version, but i wanted to see if the phone actually changes it's behaviour with a sdcard with an emmc on it.
I have a xt1063 8gb version. I found a 16gb img dump of a xt1068 and cloned it onto my sdcard using HDD raw copy tool.
Usually my phone shows up in the qhdsub bulk mode, but when i insert the sdcard and force reboot it(by pressing the power button for ~30sec) it doesn't . Instead it connects and disconnects the device without showing anything in the device manager.(i assume that's because the dump fails the hash check, and the phone just repeats the cycle).
So i need someone to dump an XT1063 8gb using this guide .
Thanks in advance!
