cant select Recovery in boot - Moto E5 Questions & Answers

Hello,
My E5 plus(XT1924-3) is in a loop. The screen shows Moto, Powered by Android, then turns off and is back on to the same screen.I press Power and Volume Down to enter the screen where I can chose Recovery Mode then I press Power Button to confirm recovery, the phone just keeps restarting on the same Powered by Android screen. I have tried to rescue with "lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant" still same problem. Please help.

You can try flashing newest firmware from
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/ahannah/official/RETIN/
With RSD Lite if you have a PC that didn't ship with Windows 10.
Or try mfastboot
But with the bootloader locked, I'm not optimistic

I tried both MOTO Smart Assistant and RSD Lite. ROM installation was successful but it still in bootloop.
Is there any way to unlock OEM in current state?

What do you mean by "stuck"?
Does it return to fastboot by choosing Normal Powerup?
What's happening if you choose Recovery?
What is the fastboot Reason (last yellow line)
Solution

Press the volume key (- and +) and the power button for at less 15 seconds, and the phone will restart.
Sorry for my english, is very basic.
Never mind it's fixed now it ran out of battery but by stuck I mean it only shows the fastboot screen the volume and power keys do nothing

Problem with Moto G 4G XT1040 with Firmware

Hi!
I bought in Argentina, Personal, a Moto G 4G LTE: XT1040
I tried to get root so I could unlock the bootloader and install a Recovery TWRP, but Android is not working any more.
I power up in fastboot (pwr + Vol-) and it says "Device is UNLOCKED Status Code: 3".
I can go to the new Recovery.
But when I try to go to Normal Powerup, it says"Boot up failed":
----
Fastboot Reason: UTAG "bootmode" configured as fastboot.
USB Connected
Boot up failed
----
I try to install with Firmware_Flasher_v4.6_by_Alkalinorap, these:
XT1040_RETAIL-BR-SS_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.56-1_cid12_CFC_1FF.xml.zip
XT1040_PEREGRINE_RETBR_5.1_LPB23.13-35_cid12_CFC.xml.zip
But it says "preflash validation failed"
I want to get to the updated version 5.1 from Argentina.
Help!!!
Thanks

How to go to blankflash mode when bootloader is locked and Android is not booted?

Hi,
I have updated my XT1900-2 using OTA update from LinageOS.
Now I have "soft bricked" phone. Bootloader tries to load from partition B but only partition A is available. I can't switch partition because bootloader is locked.
How can I load my phone to blankflash mode to flash another bootloader?
Current bootloader version is MBM-3.0-payton_retail-5cff2cb-180615
If connect to PC without pressing any button I can see charging(flash) label on the screen but there is no new devices on PC in lsusb command.
If connect to PC with pressing volume down button phone comes to fastboot mode.
Command fastboot oem blankflash doesn't work. It returns (bootloader) Command Restricted.
Command fastboot oem fb_mode_set returns FAILED (remote failure)
Thank you,
Maksym.

Well if you're on Lineage and you locked your bootloader again (why would you do that though?), then you need to flash back to a stock rom to fix it.

Many thanks,
I have flashed only gpt.bin and bootloader and can boot Android.

Phone always reboot into Fastboot?

Hi!
I have a XT1965-3 running RETEU with unlocked bootloader. Every time I reboot the phone it start in AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure) (with the image of the Android laying on the back with the hatch open). I then need to press "start" to boot the phone.
I don't know if it is related but I also can't reset the phone using the settings menu. It just reboot in Fastboot and when I start the phone everything is still as it was.
Do someone have a clue why the phone restart in Fastboot?

Question Motorola Edge S Pro Bricked

I can appreciate some help I bought a Motorola edge s pro from AliExpress with the bootloader unlocked and global rom installed and then flashed it with the current retail version rras31.q3-19-86-4 which went good until I enabled "ram boost" under system->performance followed by restarting the device but now the device won't power back on holding that button nor can I enter into fastboot/recovery modes with power+vol down shortcuts, is this device hard bricked, soft bricked with the ram boost on and bootloader unlocked?
I get the qdloader 9008 active under my ports and the led light flashing when I hold the power on a few seconds. I tested blankflash from pstar and everything completed but still no bootloader shows after I ran that process. do I need another blankflash version that matches the stock firmware on this model? anybody brick theirs turning ram boost on?
I tried this blankflash retail from lolinet blankflash_pstar_RRA31.Q3-19-50 since I can't find the latest Q3-19-86-4 retail blank flash, any input would be much appreciated. thanks

i can find the blankflash but no hope for my device @
I'll look into this, thank you, does the blank flash need to match the current firmware version installed?
i managed to recover the fastboot using a Motorola g100 blank flash.

You have to run blankflash when your phone is disconected with computer. Next, you must put usb cable in. It's already worked for my Motorola 20 PRO.
