My device has unknown baseband and null imei, so tried to fix this problem.
I have unlocked the bootloader and rooted the device.
I have created QCN file with the imei number in my phone box.
I tried to restore the qcn using QFIL but got the following error at the end. My device is in diag mode.

How u destroyed ur imei and baseband? Before unlocking bootloader?
The problem with the phone was that it would not charge, that was the only problem.
I gave it to the local repair shop.
He said that after replacing the board ,the phone was in bootloop.
Then I flashed stock ROM from edl mode.
I remember the imei info was already null during that time, but I thought that it was because it was not detecting my SIM card.
Now I have gone into another problem.
I tried different methods for repairing IMEI, none of them worked.
I saw a post on XDA , this one.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/recover-redmi-note-3-sd-imei-baseband-t3744385
After entering those commands, my phone would not go past mi logo.
I have tried fastboot, edl mode flashing ,no result.
Why create two threads about the same issue that isn't even a ROM/development issue!?!

So my mi5 had a sudden bootloop, until next morning, phone booted up again but with a very poor performance, so i decided to do a factory reset.
After factory reset, my device can't detect any SIm card, turn out, baseband information was unknown and both IMEI unknown too.
I've tried to restore it via QPST (Diag mode ON, USB debug ON) with others mi5 qcn, but it failed, and giving me "memory restore failed"
Then, i decide to unlock my phone, but the problem is, i can't unlock it because i had to bound mi account with the phone first, and to do that, it need to insert SIM card. Voila, that means i cant unlock bootloader either as my phone cannot detect any SIM card.
Any suggestion to solve it?
So my redmi note 3 stopped charging and the charge was finished.
During this lockdown, I found a shop that was open so I decided to give it there. The guy told that the charging board got short and needed it to be replaced. He replaced it and charged me 10USD.
But he said that, while replacing the board the software was gone and phone was stuck in a bootloop. I said I can fix that myself and I brought it home.
I tried installing the latest available stock ROM MIUI 10.2.1 global ,also tried MIUI 9.6.
But I encountered the same problem everywhere.
Back camera doesn't work, says can't connect to camera.
SIM card does not get detected.
Loudspeaker doesn't work.
WiFi works but you need to wait a while after rebooting the phone.
Brightness sensor doesn't work.
So I decided to give the phone back to the shop, he told me today that there is an error and he needs 15$ to repair it but it can't be done currently in this lockdown.
What might have happened to the device? I don't trust the shop person.
I’ve had some of the issues before. Brightness sensor and all other sensors didn't work, camera didn't work, WiFi didn't work. But for me the loudspeaker and SIM card worked.
All I had to do is flash the persist.img file.
- You should have an unlocked bootloader.
- The persist.img file should be located in the images folder of the zip file of the fastboot ROM.
- Copy it to the desktop.
- Run fastboot flash persist persist.img command in your PC while your phone is in fastboot mode and check if everything gets fixed.

Ur charging board will burn diode if u use 9v or 12v QC charger. Only 5v is safe for kenzo.
U dont need to throw that board. Just use tiny flat screw driver and scratch and remove the burnt diode from the board. Phone wil start charging again.
Local repair shops give cheap quality charging board. I bought 2 boards from ebay and aliexpress. One is HMFS and CTFS. both works fine with network.

Just collected my phone, dude told that my IMEI is erased and that is the reason why my phone is behaving like this ,
should I first flash persist.img or try something else?
The persist.img did not solve anything.
I'm trying to restore IMEI using different methods but I'm getting some problem.
What would be the best method to restore IMEI?
I have already unlocked bootloader and rooted my device.

I'm pretty sure that I used this or a similar approach to restoring note 3 IMEIs in the past.

Edit: I guess that that URL is banned or something so you'll have to Google it.

Hey guys,
I need some assistance as I am not able to unbrick my RM3 with unbrick tool. Multiple times I have already got it worked, flashed many times, but this time I am not getting my phone started. Normally, I use the NON-EU unbrick tool, all goes well but this time, it says THIS DEVICE CAN'T BE TRUSTED, WON'T BOOT UP. After multiple tries, I tried that EU unbrick too as well, but the same result.
I think I have locked the bootloader while on CN Rom 5.14, most probably this is the only reason, I was doing some tweakings and got it bricked. Anyone here who can tell me if there is such thing named CN Unbrick tool or any other way around to get it worked. I can enter FASTBOOT and EDL Mode but recovery mode showing black screen and adb is not recognising as didn't enable USB debugging. please help...

I've decided to use the universal Android debloater to remove some bloatware. The phone had 2 issues: quick settings panel didn't scale properly on landscape mode, search feature in settings and other apps shows a text box which covers most of the screen. I thought rebooting will fix this issue but I was wrong. My phone bootlooped and rebooted to recovery mode and showed a "kindly reminder": "system error, after select language, please select Online update(keep data) to reovery systsm, thanks!", so I selected online update and it didn't detect any updates (I'm on the latest version of Realme UI 2.0). It's my main phone and I don't want to lose all of my data!
I flashed the stock firmware (A32 Global for the Realme 8i) using the unbrick guide, I followed all the steps, installed all the drivers and stuff, and the phone booted, but it said "No network coverage". So i checked the IMEI using the *#06# code and it didn't show. So I checked device info and turns out the imei and baseband is unknown. I've tried formatting data again, flashing the A44 Global firmware (via stock recovery, SP flash tool), SP flash tool didn't want to flash the firmware, not even the A32 firmware. I've used the unbrick guide and reinstalled everything (I switched to a different windows version because my laptop was slow) and it gave me an error 0xc0010001, no hints. I've set the baud rate to 921600, still no luck. I tried using some IMEI tools but they didn't detect my phone in brom mode (I also used the brom.bat mentioned in the unbrick guide above). I want my phone to be fully usable. All help, advice and support will be appreciated.
If you're experiencing the same issue, flash this firmware via SP flash tool without oplusreserve2, you can flash the firmware without userdata to flash the firmware without losing your data. The firmware is global (EUEX).
