[Z2 PRO] So what's new in 2.5.335

Hi all,
there are already a couple of threads about the new Android 7/N upgrade but I would like to focus here on user reported changes.
- First thing I notices is the improves camera app. Having access to full manual as well as various filters on the main screen is great! It also have touchless shutter. Not sure this is that exciting, but we'll see.
- Split screen allowing used to have 2 apps at your finger tip at the same time (this is probably an Android update)
- on the down side, I have not managed to set my custom launcher as default home... will have to look into that.
-> FIX: install nova launcher and go into its own setting screen, from there you can successfully set the default launcher (including an other launcher then nova itself!)
Misc and fixes:
- a significant good news for me (certainly not one I expected) I can now get Uhealth in French!!! This is brilliant
because as some of you might know, however much the system can only be set up in Chinese or English there are apps that trick ALL the apps to believe the system is in a different language (I use Locale More Pro).
For instance, I use to have Zui set up in English and all the apps 'in Local more pro) in French. Great thing, but the system apps that don't exist in French go back not to English but to Chinese... Bad thing.
So the great news here is that since they seem to have developed french for Uhealth so with my settings I no longer have to use it in Chinese!!!
- Also when changing the language to something other then english or Chinese, the phone app no longer crashes.

Agree. I have to check the uhealth thing with German. Most annoying thing is the launcher Problem... Cant set a different launcher as standard.

I set Google Now Launcher as my default. After upgrading some apps may force close and it will default to the ZUI launcher but you just have to change it back and after a few times all the apps will open properly and it should all be good.
It would have been nice if they had completed the English translation of the ROM. Maybe its just Lenovos attempt to get us all to read Chinese!
Though has anyone figured out how to get the Easter Egg working?
FYI on AnTuTu I'm scoring 144315

There is a new equalizer, Snapdragon Audio+. You can access it in audio apps such as Spotify (go to Settings-Equalizer).

How du you geht 144000? mine was at 128000 with 2.5.335 and at 118000 with 2.3.044

We have back Sim Card Management again. It's possible to disable one of both sim when needed.

Are complete in stock vor with root?

No root, no custom bootloader. Stock via OTA. Its the 6/128gb version.

So in line with the thread title it seems the new update may provide wildly different performance increases over zui 2.3

Sorry this is not the topic, but as anyone could directly see: in your screen gmail is running, wifi is on and connected, BT is on and probably searching all the time - and maybe 1000 other stuffs Oo

Here is a new fixed issue I found:
When using an app to change language for the apps like LocalMorepro, the phone app no longer crashes!
So we are getting very close to a multi-language phone!

My phone app never crashed even with the previous ROM 2.3.044 + MoreLocale 2.

Is it working with the Zuk Z2 Plus aswell?
Can anyone kindly provide links for it?

If you want the highest AnTuTu score do a bootup on a cold device with all settings turned off. The biggest detractor on benchmarks is heat.

Nice antutu score after I updated:
(fresh reboot, screen brightness on minimum, cleaned memory with safecenter)
Has anyone found the new Android Nougat daydream/screensaver function? It seems to be missing from the settings. I use chronus, a homescreen clock/weather/calendar widget that also has a daydream / screensaver function, but it wasn't working in ZUI 2.3 and it's still not working now.

Where do you access that setting? I can't find it... But I don't have a 2nd SIM installed at the moment, maybe that's the problem?

My LTE keeps switching from 5 bars of Band 4 to one bar of Band 2. Massive battery drain.

I am unable to deactivate SIM 2, only SIM 1 gives the option.

Do you know some Music App that works with Snapdragon Audio+.
I tried: phonograph, pi music player, pulsar and the Snapdragon Audio+ appears but do not work. But works in Spotify.

no slow motion option

I'm missing slow motion option in camera settings. I have no option to record in slow mo. Im not sure which version I have but I purchased it in India. Any suggestions?

Yeah I'm on EU Global Rom v 2.07 atm, and I'm missing it too. I don't believe the NA Global has it either. Some users have reported an update to EU Global v2.09 that added camera features and block calling in game launcher. I switched to this global Rom in hopes to get it but it hasnt, dunno why maybe region specific update push. The CN Rom stock has all kinds of features, but some drawbacks at least in US, no LTE and SMS system is horrible even with root and gapps....it's horrid lol.

Have you tried gcam to see if slow motion works there? It's unlikely but worth a shot

Slow motion option updated V1.16...

Slow motion does show up in the options, but there's still no button to record in slow motion.
OK, so it's not in the video section... that's grand.

They did fix the performance issue, or at least got it back to performing like it was in 1.11

So were is it? I still cant find it. (I have a RM3S, latest global ROM)

Works fine on my RM3 and 3S running all NA ROMs. It's under camera family then slow motion.

Game space odd issue. Please help me out.

Hi everyone. Yesterday i got my x2 pro chinese model top of the line 12gb 256gb varient as i was eagerly waiting foe it to play my favourite games on it you know because of sd855+ chipset and all and i was stunned due to the fact that i am unable to open the game space app to launch the games with full optimizations etc. Instead i am presented with a page telling me to recover "game space" and a tab at the bottom which does nothing on clicking. I tried to install game space 2.0 but first of all i couldn't find any apk on the internet believe me i searched like hours and hours for it but nothing i only got game space v1.1 of oneplus but when trying to install it it says an app with same same signature is already installed but i am not able to find it anywhere on my phone. I even factory reseted it couple of times hoping that a miracle will happen but it didn't. I have also posted on multiple forums of realme but atill no response. Kindly help me if anyone knows this issue or a work around. I am attaching a screen shot as well.

I also have the same issue...my game space is missing and in settings therea recover option but nothing happens when i click it...i also cant find any suitbale versions to my os ,which is colour os 6.1, old versions of game space is no where to find...pls help me to find the links for game space suitable for colour os 6.1 for realme x2 pro!, i tried the links in the thread but they are not working now

I already grabbed what I need, but thanks for offering.
For those who might find this thread in the future, the apks r renamed. Compare fizesizes and icons instead.
I wanted an older version of game genie & armory crate to revert the ingame refresh rate locking. However, using the 08.12 version apks doesn't remove the lock for some reason, despite 08.12 not locking game fps. I suspect there's some hidden external configs. The games list's custom wallpapers were still saved after i reverted baxck to the new version despite 08.12 not having them.
u can remove the fps lock by disabling armory crate or removing a game from the games list.

Question Mobile legends reloading after minimized

Ok this has been my issue ever since i switched to xiaomi mi 11 ultra. After running mobile legends, try to minimize the game and use facebook also browse some web pages in chrome or edge browser then try to go back to mobile legends. It reloads the game from the beginning. I have set the battery setting to no restrictions, also in developer setting i am using standard limit for apps in background. It should not be killing the game. I don't understand what's happening. I then press the lock button on the task switcher to prevent it being closed.
I am on the lates eu rom weekly build 21.7.21beta

For those can't solve yet, here is the best solution I found: DOWNGRADE YOUR MIUI! WITHOUT root, or bootloader!
I follow this video
and all finally be fine.
I install the last MIUI version with android 11: 12.1.1.0 RJDMIXM
BACKUP YOUR STUFF BEFORE!

Seems like you are in the wrong forum. We do not know much about the progress of redemi software.
Try to change battery optimisation to non instead of miui optimised. And try to lock app on recent apps

Yep. I have the same problem (on my Mi 10 8/256)
SOLVED DOWNGRADE to ROM EU 12.2.10
What I've done so far
1. 13.0.6.0 eu rom = still relog
2. 13.0.4.0 eu rom relog
3. 13.0.3.0 eu rom relog
4. 12.5.11.0 eu rom relog
ALready set developer option, cache 1 MB, turning off autostart, battery restrictions, all already tried, but still no succeed

SOLVED TEMPORARY
Go to developer option, on the apps, change the background process limit --> at most 4 process
You can see from screenshot below. When I open 5 apps, there will be relog.
But 4 apps, no RELOG.

Did you solve this error?
My phone is same , mobile is still reloading in Xiaomi 12 Pro.

This is really annoying my phone is mi10T with miui13.0.8 and mobile legends keeps force closing whenever i multitask for a while uuugh
