P30 Pro Faulty Charging - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Today in the morning when i woke up i seen that a notification "Battery Charging Status Abnormally", i didn`t give it attention, because it was charging normally. After a while, it started to charge slow(from 7000mA to 1600mA). I searched a while and in that time, it stopped to charge(it is showing that consumption of the battery remain at 0mA when it is put to charge). My big question, what tf happen with it(or what is giving the fault). And i can repain it home?(software or idk).
Thanks!
PS.
Exactly, is L29.

Kaiser not charging

Hiya,
about an hour ago I plugged my nearly dead Kaiser to the standart charger and connected it using bluetooth to my notebook. I was very surprised to hear the "Batter is very low" sound a few minutes later. I checked the screen and noticed that the display read "Charging" no more. Blink - and it's stone dead. I replugged the charger and started the device again. Batter was at 1% and began charging. As soon as it hit 15% of battery life, it stopped charging again, although "Recharging state: Charging" status remained. I switched to USB charger to see if it makes any difference - and it did. It started discharging the battery! Now it's plugged back in the standart charger again and it reads 14% for several minutes now. It looks more like it's "holding it there" than charging.
I tried two different USB cabels, the "wall" charger (English is really not my native language, I don't know the proper word - sorry) and no luck.
Three or four soft resets, pulling out and returning the battery, nothing running in the background - just Phone, Data Connection and Internet Sharing. I'm using unmodified radio and Sleuth 3.0 ROM.
P.S. It looks to me that the battery is discharging much more faster than I was used to. As soon as I pull the charger out, the battery drops two or three percent.
Any ideas? I'm afraid my Kaiser / battery is dead.
EDIT: The battery is warm and I can see the "charging" icon in the kaiser's taskbar

About the charging LED, usually yellow, turned to red? Just to clarify better your situation for all members here.
When the charger is disconnected, it flashes green, when I plug in the charger, it turns orange.
No RED led. That is a very good thing.
Do you don't have any spare battery already or maybe a friend will have one?
Looks like a fault battery - are you using it since when?
I bought this Kaiser about a month ago, but it's not new. The previous owner bought it in November, last year. The battery was healthy until today.
This sounds like a battery issue to me also. These are classic signs of a dying battery. The good news is that the phone is still trying to charge it.
Just as an experiment I took out my battery and put it on a multimeter. At 94% charged (when I took it out) it showed 4.09 volts and 1240mAh. I've had my tilt for 3.5 months now.
Try a hard reset could fix a program gliche if you have one..but it does sound like you have a "croaking battery"
ME TOO--
Was tempted to start a new thread, but figured someone might still read this one.
Last night my Tilt was fine,
and today I noticed that it was incredibly warm/hot to touch. After being plugged in and charging normally for a while, I looked back and noticed that the charging icon was not displaying anymore--just the normal battery icon.
This began last night as well, whenever my battery would hit 100% it would stop displaying the charging icon and return to the battery icon. I would then unplug it and plug it back in and it would go back to normal.
As of right now, it goes back and forth between refusing to show me the charging icon and showing me the charging icon. The light is yellow/orange.
Does this probably mean my battery is dying? Even when the charge icon refuses to show up, when I plug in the charger the backlight switches to the external power profile level of brightness.
It really came out of nowhere. I'm hoping it's some fluke that came out of nowhere, or that some strange registry key that decides it's going to jack up my hardware temperature, drain my battery, and not want to be plugged in anymore got changed.
It's about 2 months old, and I'd be really disappointed if the battery was already croaking.
O wise sages of xda-dev, please enlighten me. The thing charges really slowly now.

About power setting problem

in the power setting, under information
my D2 couldnt show any information
last full charge: not applicable
why is that??
anyone have same problem?
It's kind of a dumb question, But it does only show information when your device is fully charged (green light) It does take a while

It's not a dumb question.
There are quite a number of TD2s out there that cannot attain full charge. The battery status remains at 99% regardless of how long you charge it. Hence, no green light and the last full charge field remains NA.
Mine charged well...
received it with a half full battery... I used it till it had no power left,
Then charged it over night and tadaa! green light in the morning
So now I'm letting it drain again, and then fully charge, so the battery calibrates
Not that I know sure, But my father's phone cannot charge to 100% either, because he didn't drain the battery when he bought it :s (Well that's what they say in the store)
I did drain the battery three times and loaded full.
The point is that the display of battery charging has a bug, if the device is on.
Charging works perfectly, when device is off. But the information screen won't be updated.
Have a look at this thread:
-> Battery Charge issue - bug? Reproduceable?
Pardon me, but why do you need your last charge information anyway? As long as the battery lasts until your next charge, it shouldn't bother right?

Carty..

Will you sleep easy if your phone doesn't recognize when it has obtained a full charge and stop charging the battery?
I wonder if the built-in protection circuitry on the Li-ion battery will stop accepting a charge when it's full. Is the phone capable of overcharging the battery and become a fire hazard?

Big battery problem

I just bought a Kaiser yesterday and i recharged one of the battery for 6 hours in the night and when i got up this morning, the battery was not full but totally empty, i could not even turn on the phone, the LED is red instead of green. i used another charger but still had the problem, the phone always says low battery and turned off, then i measured the voltage of the battery, it reads 3.8V, can this power up the phone?
My question is, if i de-select the USB charging while connected to PC, would this prevent the battery from recharging by all ways?
Please offer your comments, thank you.

[Q] Fully charged? or not...?

I have just been charging my Note. Up at 100%, no worries.
For unrelated reasons, I decided to reboot. As it was still on charge, it does not in fact reboot, it goes to the charging screen while remaining off.
Imagine my utter surprise that the charge icon was showing about 2/3 charged! There is no doubt at all that every indicator before the shut-down was at 100%.
Can anyone else see if this happens to their Note, or suggest an explanation?

Use battery calibiration app from market. It resets the battery stats. Do it after a full charge and you should be gud after that.
disconnect the usb cord to see if the phone still demonstrate the charging animation. if that is the case then you have problems. seems like many Gnotes are developing usb charging port problems after a month + use.

P9 won't charge after battery replacemnet

So like the title said i have replaced the battery in my P9, with an original battery. It has the same part number and all that. I have noticed that the phone won't charge the replacement battery, i have returned the new battery in warranty and revived another one. Same thing, the phone starts up as soon as you plug in any kind of power source to it , like a charger, but no charging notification. The notification light pulses in rare intervals (some thing of 10 secs or more) but it's not steadily on like when normally charging. And the most vexing thing is : if i replace the original battery it charges. Unfortunately the the original battery now has the bad habit of cutting out on me at random from anywhere 47% or bellow .... The phone is nearly 3 year old now.
Have you given the new batteries some time to charge? Maybe they were delivered to you fully discharged.
First one was on 85% the second on 60% or so. I kept the 1st one on charger for a whole weekend... Still nothing
Have you tried to callibrate the original battery (you say it suddenly drops if below 40%)?
Yes, I have allowed the battery to run down to 3% and the phone turning itself off. Then fully charged it while being off. So the original battery is just plain old, nearly 3y old. The problem is that the phone refuses to charge the new batteries regardless of original charge. Also it turns automatically on when you plug in a charger, not just showing the charge animation. That is not normal behavior.

I've done that after reading you'r message , but i have already done the steps not req root. And i'm not willing to root my phone.
P9 also not charging
Did you manage to find a resolution to this issues? I'm having the same problem with my P9. I changed my battery, and it now won't charge. It turns on ok, and everything seems to be working. When I plug in the charging cable, it makes the sound it usually does, the battery symbol flashes green but instantly turns white again. When the phone is off, plugging the cable in switches it on, but no charge. I've had two replacement batteries, both have the same issue. Also, the original battery is now doing the same. I'm wondering if I damaged something while removing the battery.

I think it's problem in charging IC or port.
Hi all
Had same issue with replacement battery
After replacement battery isn't charging. Problem is in bad connections
(probably from long shelf storage connectors got rusty)
Voltage was fine but temperature reading was way off (very low -2) and phone didn't charge battery
Problem is that there was no error message about battery temp.
After cleaning the contactors battery reading became normal and it started charging
Anybody ever had any solution to this problem? I have the same issue. Battery replaced - not taking any charge. If micro USB charger plugged in - the phone turns on. If it is already turned on plugging in the charger the screen flashes the % of the charge and nothing.
