Today I saw the stripes on the camera, maybe someone had something to fix?

Hi,
today I saw a black spot on my images from camera and also on my videos. It seems like I have a dust on the image sensor. Does anyone know is it easy to clean this? I disassembled the phone following a guide in YouTube but then I have no idea where the sensor is. So I just blew randomly around the camera with a "blower bulb" but no change. I also tried a few hits But that didn't help either.
I refer to the back camera.
Hi,
My camera shows a very clear lighter rectangle on every picture taken and also live in the viewfinder. It's very visible on darker or HDR shots and less on pics taken outside.
I posted an example picure below. It also seems to be related to the temperature of the phone (e.g. long in use or not). It looks like condense, but it's not because the shape is alway similar and it's been on every pic for a week now.
I'm very hesitant to send it in for repair since I just got it and don't want to wait weeks for the phone to return, but it's very annoying!
What is your opinion, can it be a software bug the will be fixed soon or is it a broken camera sensor? Have you ever seen something like this before (the repair guy from the shop didn;t...)?
Thanks.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone else expect similar or same issue as I do.
I recently updated to 4.3 soft No: 3.62.401.1
Today I was in need of using the front facing camera and when i switched from main camera ( which works perfectly fine) the front camera shows purple'ish lines from top to bottom in horizontal view, they are all over the screen and I can just about make out some shapes behind them.
Front camera functions work and I did test the camera when i got the phone and it was working perfectly fine as well.
I havent drop the phone nor hit it with anything, there are no viable marks on the front camera as well.
I wonder if this is due to software or not ?
Anyone could shed some light on this issue ?
Many Thanks
Kind Regards
I don't have that issue, but I swear since updating to 4.3 the Front facing camera has ****tier resolution or something, waaay more noise going on even in the brightest light - whereas before it was crisp and sharp. Hangouts video calls now look like **** too..
tnx mate
well I'm now thinking if I should get my phone replaced, I got extended warranty on it with insurance so I could get it fixed/replaced in no time.
Still wondering if this not a software issue or not.
I forgot to mention that I have a carrier free version with sim unlocked in factory.
I really think they messed up the FFC by trying to "software fix" their purple tint issue on the back cam
Something they did to the way the software runs the cameras screwed up the clarity and created new issues. That's my guess
Hey all! I actually just got a refurbished phone from AT&T because of this weird issue with the camera at night mode. The camera actually turns a sharp purple so much so that it is unusable at night. I heard this was common and had something to do with the camera sensors being overheated or something along those lines. Anyways hopefully the refurbished will fix that unless it was a software issue and was wondering if anyone else had this problem. The new one also comes with sense 6! Which has extreme power saver which I desperately needed haha.
As for the facebook contacts, some of the pictures are simply not coming up even though a person clearly has a facebook picture and and it is linked to my contact on my phone. Some have their pictures showing up but others just don't which is annoying because I have way too many contacts to put pictures on manually. I was wondering if anyone knew why this was happening and how one would alleviate this issue. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Hello,
Today I noticed this weird problem with my main camera where a sort of black hue started appearing on every picture I was taking, I made sure that the lens is wiped clean and I even rebooted the phone and the issue is still there. This hue doesn't appear when I switch to the ultra wide camera which is making me think its a hardware issue though I certainly hope it is not. I attached a sample picture, it is not something huge but it is noticeable and it is pissing me off. Has anybody encountered a similar issue before? I only recently got it repaired after the Wi-Fi chip was fried and I'd be seriously bummed if this turned out to be another hardware issue .
Prolly the one who fixed your wifi chip got the inside lense dirty on assembly. It looks like a smudge.
