I'm not sure if most of you realize that X1 video recording is restricted upto 30min per video only
I wonder if this limit is applied by Sonyericsson or Windows Mobile?
How could we overcome this limitation?
Please advise
Indeed that`s a big problem.
at least i know to be aware of this in the future!
What are u filming? some pornography?
if u do that much recording i suggest u get a portable pocket camcorder like Creative Vado HD..ya its high def and fits in your pocket.

Very funny
Actually if u r filming a memory of ur kid's 1st birthday, it takes much longer
And No, i don't need to be loaded with devices as long as i have X1 with 30fps so this cap is crap.
the countdown when recording say 10 hours though, am i missing something?

Right.
The countdown shows you the estimation of allover recording duration according to your free space
Yet, the recording a time can't exceed 30 min

No it doesnt mean I have 10 hours of free space, because when i first inserted my 16GB micro sdhc card with about 15 GB's left it said 9 hours 59 mins 59 secs... now that I only have 4 GB's left it still says 9 hours 59 mins 59 secs. I have never tried recording over 30 mins but what you said doesnt make sense because no matter how many GB's I have left the 10 hour doesnt move. Now I'm not saying it will not stop at 30 mins but I disagree with your explanation.
Your case justification makes sense.
I double checked mine and it tells 5:26hrs and also never moves up or down
I run 8GB SDHC, any suggestions whats that meter for as long as we can't exceed the 30min cap?
is there a solution to this?
Hi,
my gyro (or tilt, is it the same?) sensor stopped working today.
Tried several things, like updating rom ( CM9 by codeworkx ), no luck.
I removed the battery for a minute, it works again.
Just wanted to share that weird experience...
Cheers
I had the same trouble with the samsung original ICS firmware.
All i had to do was to :
- disable rotation
- reboot phone
- enable rotation
and everything was back to normal.

Those bugs come back from time to time?
Hello. I bought xiaomi mi 9 lite a week ago and the notification led on the back should be flashing while listening to some music but it doesn't. It works only when I turn off and on the feature in the settings while the song is playing and it lasts only only until I pause the music. When I unpause the song after a few seconds it doesn't light anymore. It isn't a major bug but it annoys me a bit. Do you have it the same or know the solution?
yeah same, for me it got sooo many bugs right now... like it doesn't light up when it's supposed to etc..
Latest Eu stable and it doesn't light up ever unless when rebooting
For it to work i had to enable it in each individual app's settings. Under Notifications there is the switch to allow the use of LED light.
Eu stable. Nothing wrong. Work like it should be.
On EEA or Global ROM isn´t functional.
But on India region is functional.

It doesn´t work. I have the led light enabled for all music apps. It doesn´t work with any music player except Google Music (for some reason), and I have led light disabled for that app.

I tried switching region to India but it doesn´t work. Do you mean Indian ROM, not Indian region, don´t you? And could you tell me whether I have EEA or Global version of ROM? It´s MIUI Global 11.3.3.0 Stable (PFCEUXM). I know it says it´s global but I purchased it in Slovakia, Europe.
It doesn´t work with any music player, except Google Music for some reason (maybe because it was a preinstalled app?).
Ciao,
ma il MI 9 Lite Global ha il led di notifica anche frontale? A me non funziona nemmeno abilitando la notifica per ogni singola app.
Hi, there,
but does the MI 9 Lite Global have a frontal notification LED? It doesn't even work to me by enabling notification for every single app.
No, e solo posterioare.
Thanks for the answer. It seems to me that Xiaomi has saved on something (front led) that if he inserted it would have cost him little.
There are some choices that phone manufacturers make that I just don't understand, some choices leave me really puzzled.

After few restarts notifications run normally.
Ten I was flash EEA 11.3.4.0 again with Mi Tools, and notifications (LED and AoD) works fine.
Solved for me
Try to change the time in the led menu. It worked fine for me. Settings Special features LED light Start time 00:00 End time 23:59

Hello everybody, since i installed Android 10 Update yesterday, the "depth of field" does not work anymorye. Even if i activate it again, all images are saving without "depth"-Information.
Does anyone have the same issue noticed?
Regards
I just had a look through the photos I've taken since updating to Android 10, and at first glance I thought the same may be true for me. However, I think it's just that the Depth icon is no longer showing in Google Photos for some reason, even though the depth of field data is properly captured when enabled. You can verify by editing the (non-Raw) file and adjusting the 'Blur' setting - photos taken without the depth of field data allow you to adjust the 'Pop' setting instead.
Hope that helps.
I'm using Nokia 9 but can't get android 10 updated
...... what is the problem?
If pop is the only option, you might need to turn beautify off and then depth on.

Dont upgrade then. Wait for the next A10 update.
It has some serious performance issues and bugs.
This morning i woke, checked the phone and it was heated up so bad that i had to take off the charger and put it back on the table. Heated as in smokin warm.
This is also something new since A10.
Watch out for this issue.
Works just fine for me!
Actually camera performance is noticeably better, quicker with better results!
Tonight I had an issue when trying to take a picture in WhatsApp where the phone spent about . . . 10 minutes in a reboot loop. Anybody else had that issue?
Definitely having a lot of issues since updating to A10. Seems slower, more stuttery, quick launch for the camera freezes more often than not (I've lost some fantastic pictures of my family from the holidays because of this; doesn't help that my family are all iPhone people), REALLY FAST battery drain...and all this is AFTER I did a hard reset on it.
agreed with do not update. camera ends up taking up all the RAM during processing and keeps it engaged until reboot, making everything super slow
I've got bootloop using Skype video call with rear camera about 15min and the phone got really hot. I managed somehow stop the Loop by charging phone and pressing volume down and Power buttons together and it gave the fastboot text left top corner, then I just turned phone off and on again.
Also the phone is often restarting itself when trying to take picture with whatsupp.
It also freezes all the time when using camera app.
I've done factory reset one time but it is not helping.
Android 10 SP2
I solved the problem by installing the onFire Gcam.

Hi, has anyone tried to tap Google battery optimization off for Nokia camera app? Has it any positive effect for camera crashing problem?
IS there some other camera related battery optimization background processess going on?
I just recently updated my S22 Ultra with Android 13 One UI 5. However now i'm having issue when using AA connected via USB or wireless to the car screen, my phone screen will stay on. To clarify, the screen timeout will trigger (eg. 30 secs) then phone screen will go dim and shut, but immediately will lit up again for finger print or face unlock authentication and will stay on. Pressing off using the power button it will have the same effect as well, screen will immediately turn on again.
When using Android 12 / previous firmware, I didn't have this issue, phone screen will only wake up when you touch, or press power button while AA is continuously working on car screen.
This behavior only happen when using AA, if not using AA the phone screen will go dim and shut normally, stay off.
Is this a bug with Android 13 and AA? any workaround?
Maybe this is similar to my observations. I also got Android 13 on Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and I also noticed that screen is on while using Android Auto (BTW - I use Carsifi - review on my blog). The display is quite dim but is definitely on. My idea is that the display is ON because there are notifications (like "Android Auto available/connected") on the screen. There were changes in notification behavior in Android 13 and maybe we should disable notifications for Android Auto - but then we can miss something important.

Do you happen to have it turned off?
No. I checked this before and it is enabled.
Any news on this? I just updated mine, and it is maddening to have the screen turn on immediately after pushing the power button when running AA.
So my pixel 7 Pro does not have this issue at all, my screen goes to sleep and has no problem staying asleep while using Android auto. However, my partner has the seven pro is well, and his stays on only when it's plugged in to Android auto. He can plug it in any outlet in the house, or even a wireless charger and it goes to sleep like normal. There's something going on with Android auto that it can't just be a software issue because we're both running the same Android OS. I've gone in there and checked all of his settings with mine and their identical. I must be missing something but I just don't know what it is
I have absolutely the same issue with my Galaxy s21 Fe. Using Carlink for AA.
Maybe someone have found the solution?
Same here, having this issue since upgraded to Android 13. Tried both Note 20 Ultra and S22 Ultra having same issue.
Upgrade AA version many times also no difference...now running 8.8.630424
Is it really necessary to wake the phone when it is connected to the car system? It is very annoying because I do not need to unlock the phone to confirm or anything.
I had this exact same problem on my Pixel 6 Pro, and am now having it on my S23. For me, it specifically happens after I take a picture while using AA. This is/was true for both phones. Looking forward to finding a fix to this annoying issue.
It happens when I use Wireless AA through the Motorola MA1 adapter, and when plugged in through a cable.
I can't say precisely when this strange behavior occurs. But as in your case, I have the same problem always when using AA with Carsifi (wireless AA). But it is not the case alone.
