If your new to XDA then welcome aboard
First things first, you should probably familiarise yourself with the rules
If your not new then you should already know them.... no excuses
If you have any suggestions on how to improve this little section of XDA then just drop me a PM or leave a post in this thread and I'll see what I can do. Also if you have any issues with whats going on around here then the same goes.......

Hello All

Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd post and say Hi to everyone on XDA.
Love the site, was lurking for about 6 months, before I decided to join up, but wanted to say a big thank you to all the developers on here.
I have an HTC Desire HD running Android Revolution HD 5.1.11 and as you may be able to tell from my username and avatar, am an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
Hope to make myself as useful as I can on the site, and hope you all keep up the good work.
Cheers guys.
Welcome to forums
Read, Search, Respect and Enjoy!
Speaking of which....did you notice the "Hi" thread that was stickied?

my advice , do not post anything on devs section , its the most place you'll get trollllolololll there
Welcome to the forums!
No worries, I will not close, but please, do as Kosh says, and read the rules and follow his advice

Good
As long as you can spot certain "user" whose sole purpose is to post(just for the sake of it) to increase the profile's post number... I won't say names but you'll recognize him... many times he ask things like a total noob and then he post answers in a way that clearly shows he knows everything related to flashing a WP7 device or even likes to show(pretend) that he "knows programming".
Anyway good luck.:good:

I think I have a reason to post here

Been a long time respecter of the site. Been able to find a lot of good things here over many years. Didn't have any reason to post. Now I do but not sure where the appropriate place to post it. I'll do a lot of searching and scouring before I ask anyone.

I would agree that creating a new post on XDA has always been and it still is a bit confusing.
But here are two quick links to create new post (choose the most appropriate category based on the topic you want to post on):
