Hello Everyone! I have yet again ran into the same issue with VoLTE that i did upgrading to Android 9 with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 SM-N960U. There is no internet or data usage while on calls unless near WiFi. Last time, with the Android 9 update, VoLTE wasn't even an option, but it is an option within connections - mobile networks and is enabled with Android 10. I used Odin and downgraded the stock Android 8 for this Samsung Galaxy Note 9 SM-N960U and just settled. So i read about the 10 updates and seen that is was back and wanted to be on the latest OS but now its the same. I really do not want to go back to 8 although i did attempt it using Odin and it didn't work. Read through a post here that the bootloader for 10 wont allow it?
Guess my question is:
Is there a fix for the VoLTE issues i am having again with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 SM-N960U with Android 10 One UI 2.0?
Thanks for any comments ahead of time.

Have 2 note 8 sm-n950n from korea 256GB . Branded carriers are lgu And kt both are identical internally. They have access to ims settings menu to access volte and video call with in the dialer. Samsung experience 9/ oreo down load locked out access to this option. It now requires otp key to enter a password. I thought originally was a carrier change.. But as I updated the new lgu phone I wasn't locked out until the 1 GB Samsung experience 9 /oreo download. With out volte the dialer doesn't even work correctly..as it is version 10 vs 16 on my sprint 64GB note 8. Any one have any idea how to obtain the key list? Samsung international korea not responding.. Not available in english.

When can I expect OTA software update ?

You can checkout this Page for Updates News for your Brand > Sammobile > Type your exact Device Number, for exmaple SM-N960F and see what you get.
OTA releases for each country is different. You should be expecting the next OS Update to be released soon.
Note 9 (Exynos) Proximity Sensor won't turn off
I found out that my note 9 (Exynos) was keeping its proximity sensor on after a WhatsApp call and it would not turn off. This seems to be a bug and can only be resolved by the restarting the phone. Any solutions guys?
Hi guys, I finally decided to flash my Canadian Note 9 (SM-N960W) with Android 10. I now have an unbranded XAA CSC American Note 9 (SM-N960U) and almost everything is working perfectly, including WiFi Calling and VoLTE, but I have that one and only problem that is bothering me:
Every single time I try to open "Security" under "Device Care", the sreen goes black and the phone become unresponsive. Security status is "Deactivated" but I didn't disable it so I'm not so sure what's happening here.
I tried to download and install "Samsung Device Security" from XDA but it won't install. For some reason it's missing from my phone.
Any idea what's going on?
If that is the only issue then all is golden. Security that is not enabled refers to a not an active bundled antivirus solution which as you know is totally unnecessary. It does not refer to Samsung device security.
Okay so I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 that's originally on AT&T but I have a Straight Talk SIM card that I want to use in my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The problem is is that I also want to use my Straight Talk hotspot but on most AT&T phones it does not work. Is there a hack for this? Or there is there a way to reprogram? Or do I have to root my note 9? Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi's you're my only hope.
I have the same problem
Has anyone found a solution to this?
I just received notice this week that Straigh Talk is now including 10GB Hotspot on my plan but on my ATT Note 9 (SM-N960U) when I first attempt to turn this on I get notified that it is not supported on my account. I've chatted with their support 3 times this week, and they keep applying the Hotspot to my account and I've rebooted my phone multiple times but still yet I get this error message.
Now funny enough I can still actually get the Hotspot enabled and I can connect to it from my other devices; however, they are not able to browse the internet when they get connected.
Really hoping to get this resolved before to long.
I bought s10 5g last Monday. It's model is Tmobile SM-G977T. It came with android 10 and everything was working fine until I updated it to android 11 one ui 3.1. Now network is very slow, both Wi-Fi and data. I can't receive calls or make calls. Sometimes I have to dail up a number like 5 times before it connect. I tried to downgrade back to android 10 but I get auth error odin. Please help me.
First try contacting the Carrier first, if they can't fix it then either ask for a replacement SIM.
If they can't fix it then the only other choice would be to report the issue to Samsung Members app on your device, they will be able to look into it.
