Is the bootloader unlocked?
Sent from my Moto E (4) using Tapatalk

Unfortunately not, I made a mistake when flashing the rom stock, the script contained the command to block the bootloader before the rom stock ended the process.

if you have stock boot (unaltered by Magisk) try LMSA.
I just went through a nightmare, and LMSA saved my phone. But it would only work if my bl was stock.
considering how your BL is locked, I think you can recover your phone in LMSA, then unlock it and chew bubblegum.

Unfortunately not. The LMSA recognizes the cell phone but does not flash stock ROM. I will have to send for technical assistance. Crying. Thanks for listening.

I had to flash bootloader and recovery from the downloaded LMSA firmware zip, then LMSA worked fine.

Yes however it will leave the tamper flag and if you used the dev site it will still be logged.

I know this is an older post but I've been unable to find the instructions for re-locking the bootloader. Any help would be appreciated.
I had the electrify m, the RAZR m for us cellular, and I unlocked it through Motorola. I was giving it to someone else and wanted to relock it and never found any instructions to do so. I contacted Motorola and they said once it was unlocked the was no way to relock. I would guess it's the same with the moto x.

fastboot oem lock doesn't work?
It does. Fastboot OEM lock. Just go back to signed software before, m Kay ? Else you won't boot

Has anyone tried re-locking a non-dev Moto X? If so, does it get rid of the "bootloader unlocked, warranty void" message that you get every time u boot ur phone?

Makes no difference, even when you flash the sbf firmware the logo warning still pops up, so you're best just flashing a new logo.bin file . you'll find them in the themes section, fastboot flash logo (name).bin and your done. If you need to rsdlite at any time in the future, just remove the line flash logo bin from the XML file

Yes. That (minus userdata removal) is what RSD Lite does. I tried with fastboot and mfastboot as well.

Yes..you need to unlock boot loader first. I could be wrong....I'm not an rsd expert. Lol. Should say on that thread...first post.
You can root without unlocking, but you're limited in what you can still do.

no you can downgrade from 4.4 to 4.2.2 with a locked bootloader. many people have done it. you just cant flash CWM or TWRP with a locked bootloader.
here check out this thread it shows two ways to flash back to 4.2.2 and even has a video you can watch hope it helps

GPT.bin failed because you cannot downgrade bootloaders.
WHY do you want SUTL-44 over SUTL-49? Is there something about SUTL-44 you think is better?
I'm guessing you thought you needed SUTL-44 to unlock your bootloader? Because I can't think of any other reason...
Sunshine works with both SUTL-44 and SUTL-49.
TheSt33v said:
1. Go to Settings -> About Phone
2. Look at your Build Number. Is it SU4TL-44 or SU4TL-49? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, skip to section 1. Do not perform any other steps in section 0.

If wish to you unlock your bootloader you will probably need to re-flash ALL of SUTL-49 or Sunshine will show it's incompatible (you can't have half and half).
Go re-flash SUTL-49.

Unlocking bootloader: definitive bye-bye to automatic updates?

With the Moto Z, after I returned the phone to stock (flashed stock firmware and locked the bootloader), I'd be able to flash stock firmware with the flashing locked.
Not so with the Motorola One Zoom. In other words, flashing stock and re-locking didn't return the phone to its pristine state. Even when flashing stock firmware over stock firmware, I have to unlock the bootloader.
Differences I observed: on the bootloader screen, when re-locked the Z would show "oem_locked" again. On the One Zoom, it shows "flashing_locked" instead. I'm pretty sure it showed "oem_locked" before unlocking.
WIth the Z, every time I wanted to unlock the bootloader, I had to issue "fastboot oem unlock" followed by the unlock code. The code isn't necessary with the re-locked One Zoom.
In other words, maybe it was a one-way trip. It seems that the phone won't return to its original state, it looks it's modified for good. And I'm afraid this means bye-bye to automatic updates.
Am I missing something here?
My bootloader is also unlocked and I dont have any problems with receiving and installing OTAs I also have Magisk and EdExposed installed - no problems at all.

yes.
What instruction did you use to unlock the bootloader?
What region is your device manufactured for?
Does your PC see your device connected to the fastboot mod?
What does this command give you:
Code:
fastboot devices
If the device is detected, enter the command:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
And copy the result here.

I will do the commands in a couple minutes
Hey all,
I have the Moto One Zoom running on Android 9.
Also, It's Rooted with Magisk and have Riru EdXposed installed, can I install my OTA updates without bootloop or do I have to Uninstall Magisk, relock bootloader and factory reset/flash stock firmware to get latest OTA updates?
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks
