what can it be that he says would be user defined

Please use the search function. There must be at lest 10+ threads about this.
If you really care about everything to be official, then you should have kept it official.
Not saying it can't be reversed to official, but still...

Which ROM have you installed and what CSC do you have preset? Probably XEF or DBT, if you've bought it in Germany. If you have too many problems understanding English, you can write me a PM in German.

Translate own Chinese apk to English language

Hi to all. I'm trying to translate my chinese apk app to english language from long time but i'm unable to translate & tired. I looked for many guideness & translate articles but instead of it i'm failed. I just want to translate strings.xml, Arrays.xml file to my own english language. If here somebody kind person who can tranlsate my apk to english language. Please provide me the help. I tried with notepad ++ apps to edit strings.xml & seen black chinese words...i want if these black words could be possible to translate in one click instead of one by one. Plz help

I've written an application for such translating xml files, you can use it to translate xml file in one click.
Steps:
Select xml file (e.g. Strings.xml)
Select source language (e.g. cn for chinese)
Select target language (e.g. en for english)
Click translate menu item
It may take several minutes depending on source length
A new file with translated text will be created in source location with new keyword in file name.
Optionally, you can exclude words and patterns using regex.
Hope this will help many people on Xda. I'm not registered as developer here, pls some one post it as a thread with credits. Thanks in advance.

I tries this app but while app starts working it shows some running lines like downloading files,connection failed etc etc... could you plz tell how to use this app

The program requires active internet connection to use google translate services.

Dear these are the translations to leading foreign text. Copy and try it in translate.google.com and see it.
If the process is stuck on certain translation; copy the left hand foreign text (in your case chinese characters) and add it to exclude list.

I didn't understand properly. You mean while translating this app i should leave it until it finished? what is the purpose to translate left hand Chinese character & it would not be able to copy bcoz its working as auto scrolling while trabslating...

I tried to translate with this app but after translate when i install to device it says app not install.....

Google unpacking and packing apks. It works anyway if it translated your XML files.

Question Bootloader unlock needs special permission!

Hi.
I Have Mi 11 ultra with chinese rom with locked bootloader.
I've tried to unlock bootloader for flash official Global rom. but , in developer option just showing this message as you see in photo : "you are unlocking special device which should do with special permission ".
How can i fix this problem ?
I realy need to global rom.

You need to fully bond your phone with your mi account first. Once fully bonded, you can open the unlock in developer settings and using the mi unlock tool, start the unlock process. Once started you will have to wait 168 hours . When ready, use mi unlock again and it will unlock, reboot and format data ready for flashing your ROM of choice.

Same problem here, I can't link my mi account to unlock bootloader, did u find any solution?

Hello good evening, I have a problem and I would like to ask you for help, I have a my 11 ultra CN, I was testing the EU of A12, but I did not like it but and by mistake I closed the bootloader, I managed to contact someone with an EDL account, make the payment and I manage to come back to life, but when trying to unlock the bootloader it throws me the following message.
I have closed session and logged in with the same account, secondary account and new account, without results

No solution to this problem yet?

Have you asked the edl guy to unlock the bootloader with his account?

Nope, unless oppo fixes the translations in the upcoming firmware (honestly i doubt it since these CN charcters/words are in almost all android phones for CN market even if you have english set as default lang)

But now my rog 3 has no IMEI ; No Fingerprint,For Updating To Android 12,I copied UpdateFile to root Folder, iT Says System Update Failed And i Don't know What to Do
Unfortunately I didn't Backed Up EFS.
i need Android 12 Flash RaW File or At least help me How To Make ONe.

What do you need A12 for? If you lost your IMEI, you have a damaged persist.img partition and others!
A12 won't help you at all.
If you haven't backed up these files before, you have a serious problem.
The only solution is to manually edit these files and enter their serial numbers into them.

There were a couple of tutorials for Asus Rog 2. Look there. Rog 3 is the same as Rog 2. Of course, you must have files for replacement with Rog3
