If I leave my SM-T813 powered on when on charge, after a while, when I try to use it it appears powered down. Hold in the power button for any amount of time and it will not boot. The only way to power it on is to hold the power and volume down for 10 seconds for it to then boot normally. It has the current Lineage build.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I tried to wake up my Touchpad last night and nothing happened. So I pressed the power button and nothing. I held the power button for 15 to 20 seconds. I felt the tablet vibrant once but it never came on. So I held the power button another 20 seconds and felt it vibrate, but still nothing. I also had it plugged into the HP power adapter at this time.
I unplugged it and tried pressing and holding the power button a few more times. I noticed that without the power plugged in I don't feel it vibrant when holding the power button.
I'm trying it with a 2amp Samsung adapter with the HP cable. But after having it plugged in an hour it still doesn't powering on.
Any other troubleshooting steps I can take?

When the battery is completely depleted it takes a long time (24+ hours) to get it up to speed again. Leave it plugged in overnight with the stock charger, or touchstone..
The button combination that reboots is power button and home button, held together for up to 10 seconds. That should get you to moboot.
Good luck.
Ahh... I didn't hold the power and home buttons together for 10 seconds. After doing that, I got it to reboot and back into Android.
The battery is at 100% and it was on the charger when it decided not to wake up anymore. But it's alive again. Thank you very much.
my atrix hd is rooted and I updated it to kikat with a ROM but it froze it wont respond to anything seems the only way to wait till the battery drains but that will take many hours. Anyway to force reboot or shut down?
Hold down the power button for a long time (> 10 seconds).
Eventually it should shut off/restart.
You can also try holding the Volume down and power buttons for a long period (10-15 seconds), that should normally take you to recovery mode.
hold the power button until it vibrates

That is incorrect. Holding volume up and power, then releasing power when you see the boot logo, takes you to recovery. Doing the same with volume down takes you to fastboot.
To answer the initial question, hold all 3 physical buttons until the screen or the LED turns off, at which point you can power it back on normally.
The LED is a good tell if it's frozen and the screen is off, like if it froze while charging, because the light will stay on after unplugging it.
Have a Samsung Galaxy Tab (Verizon) SCH-I800 7" that is stuck in a reboot loop. Searches/fixes for this issue seem almost common, but mine is experiencing this issue much worse than the others I've read about. Full charge, not plugged in; without pressing the power button, the device automatically attempts to turn on, the Samsung logo appears for 5 seconds exactly, it shuts itself off, the process repeats until the battery dies. Battery at all levels, plugged in; without pressing the power button, the device automatically attempts to turn on, an empty battery image displays for roughly 4 seconds and then a full battery (or current level) displays for roughly 1 second.
The 5 seconds while it is on, pressing or holding the power button has no affect. Pressing and holding the power + down volume buttons will display the yellow downloading screen, which displays "downloading.... do not turn off target" and yellow android sign for 2-5 seconds (depending on how quickly I am able to load it". While this downloading screen is displayed, pressing power, volume up or down do not have any affect.
When connecting the Tab device to a computer via the USB cord, the computer recognizes it for approximately 4-5 seconds, then disconnects for 4-5 seconds, repeat forever. The computer is unable to successfully install drivers or do anything useful in this short amount of time. The battery has been replaced as well as I thought that may be the issue, no change.
Any suggestions?

well, i have experienced this, after i flash a ROM, and my battery is low, i forced it to flash, and became the same like your tab....
maybe this step can help your tab...
1.charge your battery for 3-5 hours
2.after that, quickly hold the power + down volume to download mode
3.connect it with your computer, Restock it
PS: IF after step 1 try to normally boot your tab, maybe there still a hope:angel:
My nook hd plus seems to be bricked.
My tablet is unable to power on, and even when connected to the USB charger it only have the green light and it does not turn orange even after a day of charging.
It does not seems to be a dead battery as I had charged it externally.
The tablet would become hot when I reconnect my battery to the tablet.
My tablet might had bricked as I tried to speed by installing ram manager, and my tablet was stuck when it was booting up.
After switching my tablet off, it is unable to be turn on.
What can I do to make it boot?
Green is fully charged and orange is when charging so it will not turn orange as long as it is plugged in. Try holding the power button 30 seconds wait 10 seconds and then hold it for 3 more does it turn on then?

This is a long shot. Try holding the power and "n" buttons for three to five minutes. If/when you see the backlight come on, continue to hold both buttons until the backlight goes off again. Then try to power it on normally by pressing just the power switch. What this is supposed to do is trigger the watchdog timer.
On Looper, flashed vindicator , charged phone to 100% while on, powered it off to fill it up while it's off, all i have is lightning bolt , no percentages, and i cannot get off the screen cannot power it on (been holding power button for 10 minutes now)
Help please!
power + vol down finally did the trick. so weird anyone else on vindicator able to charge while off?
