Stock ROM, un-rooted. After 4 to 5 hours of run time, whether in use or idle, the phone shuts down. If you go to re-start it, you are greeted by three short vibrations after the first one, and it will NOT boot. If you press the little re-set key by the SIM slot, it re-boots perfectly like nothing ever happened and after 4 to 5 hours, this repeats again. Everything works PERFECTLY with this peculiar exception. Any ideas?

Hi!
I first noticed this problem yesterday. After turning the device off, I had trouble turning it back on again. It booted, but before showing the Windows Mobile logo, it "crashed" (went black) and rebooted again.
It kept doing this, so I unplugged the battery for a minute, put it back in, plugged in the power cord and then it was fine.
This afternoon I turned my phone off, and right after that tried to turn it on again. No way...
It starts, and the backlight is at 100%. After 2 seconds it shows "smart mobility". 5 seconds later it shows R/G/D with numbers in the right bottom corner. Then after 10 seconds the backlight dims, and nothing happens at all.
I tried charing the battery fully before trying again. I had it both connected to a low power source (USB) and a 220V socket. I removed the battery several times, and tried to reset the device too. I also tried to start w/o battery, but it refuses. I also tried starting with and without MiniSD card and SIM. No difference.
No custom ROM installed. The device worked fine for more than 2 years now. Never had any trouble like this.
Now what?

I didn't read your whole post, but, try another battery.

Have you try a hard reset to this point. or re-flashing your device
No, since that would make me lose my text messages. And I hoped you had an idea.

Try another battery then, as ChumleEx recommends. If not, then you will need to perform a hard reset or reflash
All of a sudden, in my pocket, without me doing anything, after being working flawlessly for two weeks running ARHD62 and being s-off, my H1 shut down and now it shuts down every 5 seconds and reboots until the battery runs out...when starting to load the battery, the phone immediately starts rebooting/shutting down.
I can get the phone into boot-loader but there I can't make any choices and after 5 seconds the phone shuts down and reboots, after showing the HTC logo for 5 seconds it shuts down and reboots.
I can't communicate with the phone through fastboot or ADB, I can't get into recovery. Any one have any idea how to salvage my phone?

if your phone bootloop in bootloader, there is not much you can do, its hardware defect. Send it for repair.
Ok so basically yesterday my phone barely wanted to start up. It started up - worked for about 30 seconds and froze until I had to pull out the battery.
Happened repeatedly with 2 different batteries, so I got pissed and formatted it. After formatting, it started up, but has been EXTREMELY slow.
Like up to the level that downloads download at 30 kilobytes per 10 seconds. And everytime I touch something it takes like 5 seconds to respond. Tried changing rom - now it's stuck on the LG starting screen.
Any help?
Just received my OTA upgrade.
Everything went well up to the point were it says - Android is starting. It counts up to 51 and then says Starting Applications and then immediately (shown for half a second) - Shutting Down.
This goes on and on every time I restart the watch.
In addition, it gets so hot that I think it will melt.
Any ideas how to fix that?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I hope that someone has some ideas on how to fix it.
Let it rest for an hour. Then try again. Works for me.
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
As above. I think it's heat related. I had similar when I was flashing the stock images from scratch. I let it cool down then boot it up again and it was fine after that.
I am sorry, but nothing helped.
Sit and Wait didn't help. Waited over night, same result the other day.
I also wiped the watch from Recovery. For just one time the watch started and demanded more at least 20% power, so I charged it and moved on with the configuration, but all of a sudden the watch turned off.
Since then, after several wiping tries, I had a new behaviour. Watch started with the 4 colored dots, after about 2 min just turned off without showing any other display.
Any other ideas?

@super_joe any luck?
The sit and wait method ended up working for me as well.
I too had the same issue. After restarting the watch it kept shutting down. Then as last attempt I kept the watch on charging cradle and charged the watch. While charging the watched booted normally. Then found out battery was at 3%. But oddly before update it was 98%.
Anyways now it's working normally.
there is no consistent way to charge the watch anymore without overheating?
I have the same problem
Same problem here. after running fine with LeeDroidV2. But after the battery died it wouldn't fully start anymore.
Thought it was heat related too so I put it on the A/C fan. Still switches off. Gonna flash stock and will report back
I can't get it to work. It says "Starting Apps" after loading them (38 of 38) and the "shutting down" Just flashed stock 5.1.1. Any ideas?
finally back alive! I don't know what the problem was. When it finally booted without shutting down, the battery was at 2%. Even though it was on the cradle for 2hrs.
I know it's a long shot, but I decided to give it a try.
I can see several threads of MiMix not turning on, but mine is doing exactly the opposite, it won't turn off.
Over the last year, I have been using a Pixel 2XL as my main phone and my MiMix just for Android Auto.
After a few months, out of the blue, the issue started. I hold the power button, choose turn off and it immediately powers on again. I can boot into fastboot, flashed twrp and when I power off from TWRP, the same happens. It immediately turns on again and stays like that until the battery dies.
I have tried using the flash_all.sh script from lithium_global_images_V10.0.1.0.OAHMIFH_20180831.0000.00_8.0_global_6af721a86e.tgz. The phone turns on, but during the initial setup wizard it just hangs, sometimes it reboots on its own, sometimes it just stays frozen until I reboot it myself; and I still cannot power it off, without letting the battery drain out.
Any suggestion about what I can do with it, or do I have an expensive paperweight with me?
Thank you for reading.
Try changing the sim card, or just removing it.
Long shot, but easy to test.
