After updating to the latest version 10.1.0.123 (C431E19R2P5), my phone is very slow and the battery is terrible. How can i downgrade my phone to the previous version. thanks

The updated shouldn't do that. Isn't better to do a hard reset?

The hard reset doesn't guarantee me to solve my problem. And there's a lot of people complain about the battery.

Are people downgrading 10.1 because of the battery life because mine is **** after ota update?
If huawei doesn' t solve the battery drain on emui 10.1 with a patch soon, then roll back to 10.0 is a must

Thanks for this thread and answers. My P30 pro is also extremely sluggish after this update. Takes up to several seconds (sometimes > 5) to start an app. Scrolling is very laggy al of a sudden. Really not happy with it. Will try to roll back as well.
Update: 11.24: rolling back as we speak. Hoping everything is well again after this

I too experienced the same and had to rollback to 10.0.. Now it is back to normal.. Till we get a proper update, it's better to maintain 10.0..
After downgrading, phone works again smooth and w/o chrashing some apps.
But how can I permanently disable upgrade notifications?
I already turned off wifi and othe3 permissions of upgrading app.

If you want to stay away from updates beside disable as you did, bellow is the ADB command to remove the update from Settings.
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.huawei.android.hwouc
If you want to update again using OTA, use the reinstall comand.
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.huawei.android.hwouc

Thank you. I'm a Nova 5T user and already rollbacked to EMUI 10 because of the battery drain issue in 10.1. And this command got rid of my annoyance to the software update notification
For those asking whether rolling back has any difference or not, the answer is yes. The battery is better, OS is snappier. Plus they introduced a bunch of other bloatwares and trivial new functions with EMUI 10.1 so rolling back is the best remedy.

I updated to 10.1.0.126 and faced all the issues like others. So downgraded to emui 10 and now it's back to normal. Now in the update section, it is showing only the 10.1.0.126 version. My question is how will I know if any higher version is available for update? Say like 10.1.0.133 or higher ( heard the battery issue is fixed in.those). Will it show in the update section if I have emui 10 or I need to update to 126 version to get future updates??
Thanks !

No you can't..... At least not without unlocking bootloader and flashing it by fast boot.... And yes people aren't interested due to LACK OF NFC
How do I flash this if I am rooted? Will I need to wipe?
Also is it supposed to work with ALE-L21? What could happen if I update an unlocked phone with this ROM?
Will p8 lite ALE-L21 c432xxx recive this update?

NFC is OFF, and I can`t enable it. You can change ringtones and notification sound. I use Zedge apk for that. Themes app and file manager apk aren`t in this rom. I dload original huawei apk from this post

Ok guys, rookie question. I can only install this by flashing it right? Because i tried to put the UPDATE.APP file into the dload, the usual stuff you do for an update rom in this phone, and when it was updating, it said the version was incopatible. So i tried to flash the zip, and i got stuck on the huawei animation. Any tips?

I had the same issue a while ago and had to manually update to B182, from there it should update to Nougat automatically, or again like me, you can do it manually. I seem to recall reading that B166 was a beta (or similar) and would never update, so I'd download B182 and update it yourself.
Hi experts,
Been facing this issue since more than 4 months now on Honor 5C. Since I got this phone in December 16, I have not received any update. I tried manually updating the same via firmware finder in March and was successful but after update my build changed to NRD test key and many apps, clock, themes, file manager, updater missing and even keyboard so cant even reset the phone as after reset it ask to setup google account and cant do that without keyboard.
Rolled back to MM.
Tried downloading the firmware from official site and various other sites for B301, B310, B320 and used Dload method but couldnt succeed as it failed all the time. I am not debranding and used the firmware for same model but same problem all the time.
Rolled back to MM B140, updated to B151 via dload, success. but unable to use dload to upgrade to B301/B310/B320 so rolled back to B140.
Today I updated to B310 (from B140) via firmware finder and then updated to B320 via dload both success but same problem of many apps, clock, themes, file manager, updater missing and even keyboard.
How shall I proceed with the update now.
Any idea on what could be missing. Phone with locked bootloader.
