Hello everyone,
I have my tablet SM-T713 which finds itself completely blocked following a dumpling on my part:
I had activated a software which prevented the installation of software etc on the tab and wanting to simply reset, I had the ingenious idea of making a Wipe data and attempted an installation of a full firmware via Odin above .
Fatal error ! Unable to write on it (MDM) and I find myself in bootloop without the possibility of writing on it or anything.
I tried the TWRP flash without success, I cannot try in ADB or SD : refused.
Is there a tiny hope or can I use it freezbie?
Thank you really much by advance.
Jonathan
Hey,
i have a question: can i use a full nand erase on Odin ? Maybe it's the good solution to repair my tablet?
Thank you !

Hello,
really interesting ! I think that could be the way to recover my device but it still one big problem : find the QPST firmware :/
I check it on the web and i don't find it for T713 Samsung.
Maybe someone here know if it's possible to find it or have a way to "build" it ?
All help will be really aprreciated !
Best regards

Well I don't know how to build it (yet?) but as I'm interested to know as well, I've asked for how-to on that specific page.
Downloaded a stock T713 ROM and unpacked it.
It contains .mbn files but no .edf I can't identify all what the .mbn are for, if these would be sufficient or more/others are needed.
And of course don't know if the found ones could usefully be flashed with the QPST.
Hope the guy from that page will give positive answers.

The guy wrote an answer but not helpful at all:
<Hi. In case of Samsung devices, the only thing that will work is the Odin program. It’s hard to see a Samsung device getting hard bricked, just because Samsung has all those critical partitions blocked from being flashed. If you ever come across a soft-brick, you can just use Frija to download the latest Odin-flashable firmware and push it through Odin.>
So sorry.

lots of good info on "edl mode" and howto use it. If someone could give you a "dump"
you could write to your device. .

This is a generic guide that could be suitable for many Qualcomm based devices, once the phone can be triggered to EDL mode. To make sure this guide will work as expect, following requirements are needed: - Know how to trigger the phone to EDL...

HI, I bricked my N950u after rooting with the SamV2 method for snapdragon. I rooted it fine, then tried flashing stock firmware and supersu zip. I know snapdragon is bl locked but I thought I could possibly do something besides hard brick lol. Anyway, does a rooted n950u that they could share a partial or full sys dump with me so I can make a debrick img. Also if anyone knows how to un/debrick please let me know and share. Thanks in advance!!!!

Yup. Thats 100% a hardbrick. Unfortunatly the debrick img method doesnt work on this phone. Only way to fix at this moment is a carrier swap. Thats how I got mine fixed.

Long shot but... qfil / firehose msm8998 is the way to go with this. Can be done, the hard part is getting the firehose programmer (and maybe rawprogram0 / patch0 xmls too)
Isnt it supported by Z3x / Sigma / Infinity / Octoplus?
Doesnt that "aryk" site have a load of programmer files that could work with your device?
Failing that, JTAG / EMMC flash (pinouts should be around somewhere)
Sorry can`t be more help. I`m working on a similar issue with a Moto Z2 play atm
EDIT: I`m sure the 835 (what you have) supports booting from the SD card.
You need to ask someone with a rooted Snapdragon N8 to make a copy of the first 167(ish) MB of mmcblk0
Like this... (Brief idea... whoever does this needs to do it obviously from shell, on the device itself wether thats from TWRP shell or ADB in *nix / Win thats up to you)
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/Loader.img bs=1024 count=168960
Once some kind soul has done this for you and you have downloaded it, write the resulting image to decent SD card using Win32diskimager, place in device and try booting. See if the bootloader runs enough to get you into ODIN.
YMMV but it is a recovery method for Snapdragons. Weather you overwrite EFS / Lose IMEI I don`t know. Only just getting back into Sammy scene.
It is kind of like a failsafe incase of EMMC corruption I think.
I can`t help with this sadly as I`m Exy

Maybe look around your area and see if you can find someone with big passion for problem solving.
Just got my Note 8. But I remember hard bricked phones in the past brought back to life with jtag devices. Anyone try Jtag device or gotten Jtag service done to hard bricked Note 8?
Last tax season was supposed to buy 1, but car issues. I know they're expensive. But if they can fix phones with ease. Then well worth it.

Did you format your device?
Do you have baseband?
If you lost your imei, you can't recover it forever.
Only Xiaomi Centre can recover it.
I'm sorry.
For rooting, you need to unlock bootloader.
Try using a SIM from an operator that does not requires imei.
That's your only chance.

Look. If you don't have any backup of IMEI, Only Xiaomi can fix it by replacing the whole motherboard, take the phone to them with bootloader locked and don't tell them you rooted or flashed anything ( if you did), they will cover the device in warranty.
If you don't care about IMEI and Sim detection, You can flash engineering rom, Unlock bootloader on it as it does not need sim card and flash roms.
I'd recommend the first option, take your phone to service centre if possible.

Yeah, after flashing engineering rom you can flash miui 12.0.4, but that won't recover IMEI either.
My friend is working on an IMEI modify tool, he will by trying it out on his Merlin today.
I'll let you know if it works, so you can recover the device's IMEI.

Neither Xiaomi Centre can recover it.
They just change the motherboard and then send the older to the factory.

Hi, I tried flashing my galaxy watch 3 (SM-R845F) with combination software (to then proceed to all the necessary steps in order to change CSC), but after all the flashing process went through, I received a fail message. Hi, thx for your help. Things have evolved a bit. I was following technoproz's video (
) to see if I could change my CSC in order to get samsung pay working on my SM-845F . I hence started flashing it with the combination file (COMBINATION FT55 R845FSQU1AUB1, I also tried with 3 or 4 earlier releases, same issue) but on reboot it would initially get to a splash screen (can't remember what it would say) and then was permanently hooked onto a boot loop . However, on reboot, it would allow me to access the reboot menu, get to wifi hotspot mode, and I was able to connect it to odin ( I use netodin 3, 1.0) . I reflashed it with it's firmware (R845FXXU1CTJ5 Tizen 4File) and the watch is now working again (maybe just a few changes from the version it initially came with). Unfortunately, when I check the logfile, it only registered the last activity, in this case, my firmware reflash (so nothing related to the previous combination flashing), which went fine. Was wondering wether the initial combination flashing bricking/boot loop issue could be related to some flags I would need to check on the otions tab in netodin..
However, my issue still remains unsolved, i still can't change my CSC to italy (that's where I am right now) to setup samsung Pay, but most of all to set up the esim.
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi everyone,
So, anyone know where I can download the phone image and bootloader to use on the QPST tool?
If anyone downloaded this files in the past, and are from a free Pixel 4, please share it with me as I need them to my Pixel 4.
I already downloaded the firmware from google, but the files from there don't seem to be compatible with QPST, as it requieres apparently, some qualcomm files with .hex or .mbn.
Also, does anyone know for what you can use the tab "Multi-image", as that is the only tab that will accept ISO files, which you will find inside the firmware you can download directly from google.
Thanks in advance!
¡Qué lástima!

Hi. Those firehose don't seem to be for the pixel 4 at all. They look like they're from xiaome. I've tried using them but no response from the phone.

Hello, my favorite pixel 4 refused to live last night and became defined as QDloader... not responding to anything at all.
I was up most of the night trying to revive my phone and I came across this thread.
So what should I do with the .elf file? QPST does not see this file.
Sorry to be rude, but you can help with this problem.
PS sorry for google translate, i don't speak english

Hey!
I am very busy to fully help you but as far as I know, when Pixel is "dead" it enters EDL mode. When you are there there is an app called QPST(Oficial from Qualcomm, though there are a lot of third-parties ones with different functionality). Over there you can go to the Download mode and load the file shared over here.
Here is a link to a thread I created where I explain this in detail and another thread about EDL mode:
First we are trying to use it to unlock the bootloader of a locked device, by flashing free-firmware
Second for people talking about EDL and some useful stuff
I think with this you may come up with an idea to fix your Pixel!
Let me know how it goes and if you need further help please contact me and I will try to help!
Also, don't worry your English is more than enough for us to understand you!

I'm trying to revive my phone with QFIL but I'm missing the rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml files.
As I understand it, you can make them yourself (I have already studied the instructions), but this requires gpt.bin, which I don’t have either
What should I do? elf extension doesn't fit anywhere

I know that there are so many threads about this, but in every thread everyone is talking different.
I want to just know, which is the tested method to flash European ROM to Chinese phone?
I also dont have a proper link for european rom ( I have seen some people flashing Indian rom and what is difference between indian and european?)
So lads please help me, I dont want to brick my phone, because there are no OP support team near my country. So it would be a garbage.
By personal experience, don't do that.
My phone is just bricked from just trying to flash the same rom again.
I've always did on my htc, xiaomi, samsung and many others and OnePLus 10 pro was the first one to give me problem. If you get in a state that you need to run fastboot flashing unlock_critical and for some reason your device reset then it's dead with no chance to recover.
There is no tool available to us that can recover from that. The phone don't turn on screen, it's not recognized by the computer and even on the charger it just don't turn on. So completely dead.
The best way is to just buy the model NE2213, that comes with a global rom.

Yes I have seen this and much more posts about flashing.
Someone was lucky and made it, someone was not lucky and bricked phone...
Wish i have seen these failures before I buy phone
Get Fastboot Enhanced & files needed to access adb/fastboot from computer. Unlock Bootloader. Download the OOS ROM you want then extract the file you need for Fastboot Enhanced. Make sure no cow files exist on device with Fastboot Enhanced and then if all checks out you flash.
I've kept this very vague because like you've mentioned there are a few different tutorials explaining (including mine here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lobal-rom-region-change.4462591/post-87151395) but the basic steps I quickly explained should exist in them all. You'll just need to find one you can follow that makes the most sense to you!
I personally used NE2213 on my device that I converted from NE2210 and am using that device to reply to this thread. I am in Canada and this is Chinese Model OP10 Pro and all works fine on my end. Hopefully you can accomplish the same for yourself if this is your intention.

If you can make sense of all the steps then go for it lol. My tutorial is more of a gathering of others work put together in a way that I hoped others could follow. I didn't want to re re re make another tutorial from scratch as your already seeing how confusing and inconsistent having so many guides can be!
I typically use Oxygen Updater on the PlayStore. Then in settings I'll do this (check photo). Then go back to the first page of application and you should see a download option (also check photo). Once you've downloaded the file just transfer it to the computer and you should be good to go. This is usually how I get the files...
Thanks so much, You made a great job lad.
Will try when I get a phone and I will let you know how it goes.

Just remember to keep reading over everything while you wait for your phone. Make sure to check everything over and over and just read all the threads here on XDA to get an understanding for what everyone else has done (the good and the bad) to ensure you yourself don't make any mistakes when the time comes.
I have the Chinese Model also and don't even understand one word let alone writing in the language but this is the phone I got and I gotta make it work so I can relate to your situation with buying it already and it being too late to change your mind lol.
my mind is blowing, everyday reading so much failures and bricked phones thats not good for mental health.
planned to go with your guide step by step and pray same time, maybe that helps lol
