I have the same issue on MSM Xtended XQ Release v11 ROM. I thought it was my device malfunctioning

i'm also helium user.. already test this rom for a few days.. i got no issue like u... lets u try remove ur screen protector.(normally tempered glass). sometime.. its will gave the problem...

Mine is Hydrogen. Sorry, I forgot to say.
Just tested it on my Hydrogen with MSM ROM and can't reproduce this issue.

It uses Snapdragon Camera, but you can disable it and install latest Arnova gcam, its compatible.

all aosp roms seem to have the caller Id issue for me,
I'll try a log.
For gcam, if I install it and deactivate the inbuilt camera I'm not able to save the fotos. Permissions are granted.

Slow motion on Google Camera was never work on this phone. I'll change mod to mod without this option in the next build.

I see this ROM reports "cast" to be working, has anyone tried it out? Coutless pie roms have the same issue, i.e. non-working cast/Miracast function. When it connects to wireless display the phone will crash.
bug: manual choosing of mobile network not working, rom working very good, but camera pictures quality much worse than ported miui 9 nougat with gcam.
Does this support gcam with night sight and if so, some dowload link?
After install this ROM my Redmi 4 Prime can't read internal storage and that is not mounting on TWRP. Any help?

Camera quality fixed? Manual setting of mobile network? (for me this very important as i work close to border and phone automaticaly enters foreign network because better signal but with expensive roaming services. I cant manualy set mobile network., because of that im back on ported nougat. Otherwise yours rom very good, thanks for development and keep our phone alive.Ii love the little bugger serve me very well there are no 5 inch new phones with 16/9 display and capacity keys, i hate the ****ty new 19/9 standard with buttons onscreen and the fkin notches.

EDIT: A couple of issues I ran into right off the bat. No initial setup, just went straight into the ROM, no big deal. But I had com.android.phone keeps stopping error and the built in browser wouldn't work either. It kept returning an error as well. I will switch to Viper for now.

There is no error in this ROM, as you mentioned, please flash ROM + pico gapps and reboot. Nothing else have to be flash

That is exactly what I did. Clean flash and Pico GAPPS and I got those errors consistently. I had problems with both this ROM and your Viper ROM but I switched to AEX and have had zero issues so far.

Different behavior on my device, can you confirm the device model, Baseband version and Bootloader version ?
And your data partition is f2fs or Ext4?
There is some bugs I find in it and It happens when install an app or open it sometimes it suddenly closes. but nice rom

Same issue of rr pie with blizzard app
The battery drain is a thing that could be fixed by me using app or something?
I use rootbooster on battery mode, lkt module on balanced mode, nfs injector and hebf on battery profile. There is anything else I can do.
I liked this rom too much to just abandon it.

The Jefferson yelled me that vibration loss in boot is a hardware issue I don't understand much to talk so anyone here that know if you could help me because my doubt still in if it's a hardware or software issue because some time it works fine but in another no response.

Sorry, just saw this. XT1097 and tried both formats for data partition to no avail.

# still not booting..
hydrogen: clean flash, booting without problems, after first setup, launcher has failed to start (black screen only), in-call volume is loud, all working fine for now...
Flashed, booted, everything seems fine. DPI was at 360 by default, had to change it to 392.

just finished flashing the rom and it's working nicely… the bug I faced was with the navigation Hw was still working even when gesture navigation is enabled, and with the recent app list when I press the recent app Hw switch from any currently running app " e.g:whatsapp " (except home) the list shows empty. But if I minimise everything and went to home and then press the recent button again all the recent apps show. dt2w is not working and dt2 to sleep from the status bar is not working. And most importantly my phones screen off time is set to 15 sec, but even after waiting about 2 minutes the phone's screen is not turning off
Edited: after a reboot the screen has started to sleep and I enabled dt2w via kernel adiutor

- Switch to FBE (File Based Encryption. Required FLASH WITH FORMAT DATA!)
- Jelly kernel upstreamed to .214. Added HDR10 support for Tianma display
- Chrome crashes fixed
- Disabled APEX (Google Play) updates
- Cleanup unused SELinux and init scripts
- Optimization and some changes
This is the last update for this month. The next update will be after the March security patch
