Applications not Uninstalling

Dear All
I have a Gionee M2 4Gb. kitkat 4.4..2. It is happening 2nd time. I don't know how some porn apps downloaded in my phone and they are not uninstalling ever after Factory Reset. If I uninstall them they start again.
When for the first time this happened I had to install a new Rom on it.
It seems as a security problem as those applications are setting as system applications.
Pl. guide it is urgent. Pl. also provide some link for Android update .
Thanks.

Well, to uninstall system apps all you need to do is install ES file explorer, or Root Explorer, or Root Uninstaller
All these are guaranteed "safe" apps, with no malware/bloatware/etc.
Using any of these go to /system/app , or maybe to /system/priv-app and delete the APK files of the apps that wont go away directly
You must've been really careless that these apps were able to install themselves to your root: any root app such as SuperSU or superuser or whatever, would certainly ask for your permission before granting the source of these APKs the permission to extract to /system.. or maybe you dont have a root app. well all thats not my concern, i just wanted to help you out
share some screenshots here if you need more help while removing the apps. GLHF.

Have you tried re flashing twrp ? You can use flashify or rashr from play store to flash the .IMG file
As far as system apps and bloat, I've also had issues removing them. When I use ROM toolbox pro's app manager, a lot of times the app will still be on the list of apps installed even after I've clicked uninstall. But usually the apps are gone once I reboot
I use /system/ app mover *root* from the play store. I covert the system apps to user apps and then uninstall them.
It also shows that in the latest update it might recognize sytemless root.

Why do you convert to user apps first? Could that be the reason why they aren't being removed? Due to some type of broken operation of an app that was meant to be system only?

I do that because I keep some of the apps and also because I haven't had any problems uninstalling apps that way. converting them to user apps also gives me the option to move them to the SD card.
I remember when I used "system app remover(root),"it would still show the app in the app drawer(even after reboot) and when I pressed on them they would say "unfortunately ...has stopped"
I used titanium backup to get rid of all the apps i didnt want, afterwords i went into TWRP and wiped the dalvik cache/ART cache and it rebuild upon first reboot, and all the apps i uninstalled were gone.try this method and let us know.

KINGROOT deleted vital components and apps

Hey,
TL;DR KINGROOT deleted vital apps and components on Vivo XL, what do I do?
So I wanted to root my Vivo XL so I could delete bloatware.
Used KINGROOT, which worked. It said it didn't work, rebooted my phone and I had root. I used KINGROOT to delete most Google apps plus Opera browser, nothing vital. It actually froze them and I proceeded to delete them with Link2SD.
I reboot my phone and it's slow idk why I'm assuming it's the Chinese KINGROOT doing shady things to my phone. I then reboot my phone several minutes later after doing idk what and I'm greeted with a bug that carefree launcher is experiencing an error.
I freak out a little then use the task switch button, see that I had Play Store open, switch to it and install nova launcher.
All seems good but all of a sudden many apps don't work. Puffin, Gmail, Waze all crash on opening. I look with Link2SD and I realize apps that came with the phone are missing.
I try to switch to Super SU using several methods, none worked and I am not rooted now.
I believe I can root again using KINGROOT. But before I try that again I wanted to ask you folks: what should I do?
Forgot to mention, I cannot install apk files, I cannot uninstall apps, the apps section in settings isn't functioning properly. I can only install and delete through the Play Store
flash it
Do this:
drivermobi.zone/2016/08/how-to-flashing-update-blu-vivo-xl-via.html
Get the ROM from here:
mediafire.com/folder/61m7ikt8k97j9/vivo_xl_v0030uu_(twrp)

odd problem with google chrome

So whenever i try to install chrome itll do it then just shows install again. i try apk file and cant open then i try adb install then i get "Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS]" when the only chrome thing i have installed is chrome remote control. found out also that my youtube and gmail wont iinstall either what i was doing was uninstalling system apps with adb and now i cant reinstall just these 3 apps
Maybe you uninstalled something that is needed for Chrome?
Are you able to reflash the stock ROM?
i was uninstalling system apps with adb didnt know it causes this just did a factory reset and left those 3 apps. since im wanting to play pokego i cant root was seeing how 0c3 update would work. still waiting on getting a new phone though.

AdAway not blocking ads after updating to Android Pie

Hi, so I upgraded to Android Pie last night. My phone is rooted and running OOS 9.0.2 now. I installed AdAway from F-Droid and installed the host files. AdAway says ads are being blocked, but that is not the case. Even added Systemless Hosts from Magisk and still no fix. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Same here, I came from Havoc OS 2.5 after a full wipe and rooted using Magisk 19.2, installed adaway latest and enabled adblocking in systemless mode. No adverts are being blocked.

Hmm, at least I'm not the only one
Seems like I'm unable to tick the Enable Systemless Hosts option in AdAway. Can anyone help me out?
So, I got it working.
Here's what I did:
I saw that the entire root partition is absolutely filled.
I then went to titanium backup and removed Google Play movies and YouTube to create some space and rebooted.
Then updated the hosts file, it worked.
Enabling systemless mode in adaway is something I didn't face, however try installing the latest stable magisk and the latest adaway from f-droid.
Thank you for getting back to me. How can I check if the root directory is full? I can remove Play Movies, but I have YouTube Vanced installed which I'd like to keep. Any other app that I can remove instead?
Well, it's the same issue here. The root directory is full. Uninstalling Play Movies and YouTube didn't free up any space? What are some of the stuff I can delete safely to make room?
Lol it's been like 15 hrs since I made this post. Is there absolutely no one out there who can help this poor soul out? This is honestly so annoying
Same issue here, deleting Google Play movies and YouTube didn't do anything for me.
Ughh. I've looked everywhere and still no answers
Reboot after deleting any system app which you think wont brick the functionality.
Rebooting after that is important, you would be needing something like titanium backup to remove the app.
Deleting only Play movies should be enough.
Update:
Deleting maps using solid file explorer from /system/apps created more space for me, REBOOTING is important.
Check the before and after screenshots to see the space created.
I just wiped data and flashed OOS and Magisk again. AdAway worked without any issues. The entire system is a lot more smoother now too, so its all good. Thank you

For checking root directory you can use Solid explorer or Mixplorer to check the root section storage.
Some apps are useless for me fo rthe stock ROM always like Google play music, Google play movies, Google news, Google drive etc.
After uninstalling these apps you can install any time from play store if any one of them you like to download again.
this is what I did to get it worked, go to Preferences/ target hosts file and choose /data/data/hosts
del
Just delete some apps in system/app and you are good to go. I did that. And running ok.
