Hi guys. I've just bought my new car (European Ford Focus), able to run Android Auto, but I have problems with my also new Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro (ROM: global stable, rooted).
I've installed AA on the smartphone, but simply my car doesn't recognize it, and the problem is the smartphone because with my friend's smartphone (S7 and Honor 6X) work great. Anyone with similar problem? Is there anything to do to make AA work with Xiaomi?
Thanks

I had the same problem with an oneplus one, rooted, resurrection remix, Ford Focus 2016. I tried 6 or 7 different cables without success. My wifes Xperia Z, rooted, resurrection remix makes no problems, it connects with every cable to android auto.
Finally i tried a 4 years old Samsung cable...thin as a hair...from a tablet. And simsalabim! This 1m cable is the only one i can use with my oneplus one! I read a lot about these connection issues. No one can tell you, why one cable works and the other not.
Someone solves his connection problems with an "anker powerline+ 30cm" cable. I didn't try that.

Is there somewhere a list of known-working phones (in the 50 to 100€ price range)?
I already have two that don't (an homtom ht7 pro and a doogee f5, both with a mediatek chipset) and I though of buying a xiaomi 4a or 4x (with a snapdragon which, hopefully, should have better support) but I see here it has problems too.
Hi guys,
I want to watch movies and youtube through my P7 on my SONY 1080P tv.
Can I just use an adapter and be done with? I heard about the MHL adapters, but I asked a couple Ebay vendors about it and they said it is not compatible.
I would put the link, but the forum won't let me.
Can you help me out?
Thanks
You could use Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV Stick, and install Allcast from ClockworkMod (PlayStore)
Hey guys,
I have issues with my earphones I have bought from China. It's the Honor AM16 earphone (3.5 mm) with integrated heart rate sensor. They are marketed in China to work with a P20 Pro but apparently only in China.
My Huawei Health is unwilling to connect to these earphones.
Is there anyone who can offer a solution for me on this? Anything I can adjust in the system?
Anyone able to help? ? It would be enough to understand why it is not working.
Hi to all. Just upgraded to Mi Note 10 from old Mi4.
I downloaded Fortnite but it's real hard to use with touch. I'm searching about a compatible controller but i''m a bit confused.
I have a Nintendo Switch too.. so i'm searching a solution that work in both scenario.
After too many test these are results:
- i connected Nintendo Joy-Con using Mi note 10 Bluetooth. Both devices pair without any problem. However.. no response in the game. Randomly something happen clicking all button. Unusable.
- i bought a Maegoo Controller on Amazon. It work OK with Nintendo Switch but with Mi Note 10 i can only pair but ...again ... no response. Downloaded some Gamepad test app on playstore... nothing to do.
- Found on the web some info about Nintendo PRO Controller. It seems that supported from Android 10. I want to know if anyone have tested it with Mi note 10. However i read that Android10 just now released so... if really support Controller PRO... would be a perfect solution for me.
At the end... Epic FAQ says:
Yes. On Android, we support most Bluetooth controller adapters, such as:
Steelseries Stratus XL
Gamevice
Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controller (Android OS 10 or newer)
Xbox Wireless Controller
Razer Raiju Mobile
Razer Junglecat
Moto Gamepad
These are expensive gamepad... and not seems to work with my Nintendo switch
Hi guys, does anyone know if there is a custom ROM for the Note 10 Pro with Samsung DEX?
Pretty sure DeX on the Note 10 Pro is not possible, even the USB-C port may not support video output
Thanks for the reply, @BMHater12 !
The Note 10 Pro even without MHL we can use some DisplayLink dock or adapters like the MiraScreen D29/D39.
I'm using SentioDesktop, but is not as good as the DeX.
Maybe another ROM with a good "Desktop Mode" is available? I coudn`t find it =/
