Hi normally I enjoy a bit of xcloud on my huawei p20 pro with my razer kishi.
But today I couldn't get the controller working.
I checked the connection in the setting and it was showing has a charging device.
I tried my emulators and same issue.
Looked at the controller in its native app and its not showing up.
I'm sure this is a new issue from the last update.
I will need to check my kishi on my wife's phone later.
But that controller is very new and built very well.
Can I downgrade if it is update issue..
Anyone else had issues

I just purchased a Moga Pro bluetooth gamepad to use with my HTC One and I've been having connection issues with it, has anyone else had issues with the HTC One and a Moga Pro?
At first I could not get both modes on the Moga Pro setup t hrough the Moga Pivot app.. I would start the setup procedure in the Moga Pivot app and choose "Setup Mode A and Mode B" which starts the setup of Mode B first, and that would sync and connect just fine. But then when it got to setting up Mode A it would not sync and connect. So I unsynced everything and started over, this time I choose "Setup Mode A only" and doing it that way Mode A would setup and connect just fine but then I wasn't able to setup Mode B.... So basically I could only have one or the other setup, not both. FINALLY after trying several different things I was able to setup Mode A through the Pivot app and then manually setup Mode B through the Android Bluetooth Settings, however it took MANY MANY tries to get it to find and sync Mode B because it just wouldn't show up as a pair-able device.
The only issue is while I'm playing games with the Moga Pro it will frequently lose bluetooth connect and will not reconnect until I exit the game and go back to the Moga Pivot app, at which point it reconnects automatically, it just won't do so while I'm still in the game after it disconnects...
I am running a custom ROM and Kernel (ARHD 9.3 for the ROM, and ElementalX 0.11 for the Kernel), and have not been able to test it on the stock HTC One kernel and rom yet... Just trying to get an idea if other people are having the same issues or not before I go wiping my phone and reverting back to stock. In terms of general bluetooth issues I've read through the forum on the rom and kernel I'm using and no one has really reported any bluetooth issues.

I am going through the same issue with my HTC One (verizon) running the stock rom. I've had many issues with bluetooth connectivity with this phone in its stock ROM (cant hook up a ps3 controller even though it is rooted) so I purchased the MOGA as a workaround to keep my stock ROM and still have a bluetooth controller.
I can only get either mode A or B to sync as well, it frustrated me for a good 20-30 minutes before I gave up on it last night.

Strangely I have had bluetooth issues as well. I have found it would drop the connecting after a max of 2minutes of playing a game. Until, that is I took the Note3 I am using out of the holder and on my lap. Works perfectly. Seems a little distance seems to work for the Moga and my Note3.
I would be quite interested in an explanation - why does this happen? It is also a bit of pain as the reason I bought the thing was that it could be used as kind of one unit.
Hi I am planning to buy this, I have updated to Kitkat now. Does anyone still encounter this?
Just purchased a Moga pocket for my stock rooted HTC One M8 and cant get the phone to locate it on bluetooth.
Hi,
I just got a new car and I am trying to connect my P20 Pro through mirrorlink. I searched over the internet but I didn't get any clear answer so far. So, does anyone know if P20 Pro supports mirrorlink (wireless)?
If yes, how can I connect it?
Thank you in advance,
Kostas

Hi,
I connected my P20 Pro with cable with my car. In the car I got the message that a mirrorlink device recognized and in my P20 Pro I got the screen in the attached picture. Actually, the phone automatically moved to landscape mode (even if it was locked to portrait) and it stacked with this message. There were no response from the device until I removed the usb. It seems that there is something more than this message on this screen but it cannot scroll down. I tried with 2 more P20 Pro and with one Mate 10 Pro and I got exactly the same response.
Can anyone help me?
br,
Kostas
How many MirrorLink apps do you have installed?
https://mirrorlink.com/apps
At least one for sure: Spotify
Same situation for me.
Any new information for this?
Thank you.

Spotify by itself is NOT MirrorLink-compatible/licenced. You need to install "RockScout, by MirrorLink" aside Spotify.
As soon as your phone is connected via MirrorLink to your car use the display of your car-entertainment - system instead. That's what mirrorlink is for.
You can try "Parkopedia" from the google play store. This one is MirrorLink-compatible/licenced and free.
Same problem here...
Although Honda inforteinment system works good with my wife's s8+ cannot Connect to P20 pro...
Anyone who managed make it work?
Mirrorlink not picking up P20 Pro
Hi, can anyone please assist. My Toyota fortuner is not picking up my Huawei p20 pro, even with USB cable. Is there a setting on the phone that needs to be active for Mirrorlink to connect or do i need a specific type of USB cable?

Johan
Same problem with Suzuki
Same problem with P20Pro and Mirrorlink on Suzuki Baleno 2018. Same error message as earlier poster - phone displays a mirrorlink connected message but car display just keeps saying Connect Phone. Tried several cables and have the Sygic Car Navigation App installed on the phone.
Cheers
P20 Pro / Skoda / Fails
Hello.
I see the same issue with my P20 pro CLT-L09. Skoda Karoq 2017. Android Auto works. Mirrorlink not. Tried different cables. Have installed "Rockscout" and "Full MirrorLink | Floating Apps for Auto". Not working. It can't connect. Anyone with P20 pro that managed to do it?
Regards,
Costas.
Hello.
I recently purchased a P30 Pro 512GB (Model VOG-L29 Build Number: 9.1.0.124(C431E4R2P2) GPU Turbo) and wished to try some games using a physical game controller.
As I had a PS3 game controller and an OTG cable I thought that would be an easy (and cheap) solution. I understand that I wouldn't be able to connect via bluetooth without root, but I should be able to use it via cable?
However only half of the pad works (left analogue and a couple shoulder buttons), I installed Game Controller KeyMapper from the play store to check and it appears that every other button is returning Key Pressed = 0
I unplugged the cable and tried this setup on my Huawei P10 Plus and it worked perfectly.
Could anyone suggest reasons for this issue and possible work around?

HI I was wondering if you ever found how to make your controller work? I m having the same problem on a honor 8x, it used to work perfectly and recently only my left joystick seems to respond
Have you guys found a fix for this problem? I have the same problem like you on my Mate 20 Pro. My Ps3 controller works on any phone except my phone.
Hi, i just bought the Mi 9 Lite 2 months ago and in my experience, everything is as good as i expected. But there's just a teeny tiny bit of problem: My last phone is an OPPO F9 using ColorOS 6, and i usually play emulated game on it with a USB joystick (somewhat crappy but usable).
I bought a OTG cable, one side to connect the controller and one for the phone and it worked well right away without using any additional third-party apps.
But now when i try to do the same with the Mi 9 Lite it just won't work, there's lights on but no input can be made. I tried to figure it out on youtube, google and downloaded some third-party apps, all of them didn't work for me. It seems to be MIUI problem with the UBS Joystick?
I'm pretty much dumbfounded, looking for help right here, hope i won't have to throw my controller into the trashcan (at least i still have my ps4 controller which still works with bluetooth, just not the crappy USB joystick)

I tried connecting a USB xbox360 Joystick on my mi 9 lite and it didn't work. But PS4 via Bluetooth worked fine. I think that it must be kernel related. If you are rooted with magisk, you can try to install a module that supposedly, it adds support for all other controllers. I tried to on my old phone (Samsung Galaxy J3) and unfortunately it didn't work. But you can try anyway
I have a similar problem i kinda know why ist not working and have no solution. So when i first bought my phone i used my f710 it was working perfectly after i think upgrading miui 11 my f710 stops working it doenst even respond in any app but when i try to use it with steam remote play app Steam asked for permission to acces usb device(like asking permission for your storage or camera etc.) i granted and it was working perfectly again but only in steam remote play. So the issue is the other apps games or emulator doesnt even ask for permission and gamepad doesnt work.
Hello guys i Found the solution!
Go to settings and found miui press 5 times and become developer, then go to developer options and disable miui optimization DONE. Then will ask for permission when you connect controller.Connect usb otg adapter and controller will work (my controller is torid speedlink)
Hello,
I have a Huawei P30 Pro sw EMUI 12.0.0.134(C461E1R1P2) VLOG-L29 and I cannot connect to Android Auto (Mercedes Benz). the problem must be an incompatibility of P30 PRO since the AA works fine with other Phones.
I've reset Mem&cache of AA App, updated the AA SW version and the other Apps. Also testing developer AA menu optons.
I have come to connect sometimes with difficulty to AA car but I am not able to find a pattern so that it works well continuously. When I try to connect again it doesn't work.
My AA version is 8.3.624134.
I am surprised that there is no posts about it since I imagine that Huawei phones will have many compatibility problems with AA.
Anybody can help me?
BR
Jorge
Works fine with Dacia AA(wired). Don't have a MB to test...same version AA
Did it work with EMUI 11?
Now I can connect. I've done three actions:
1. Buy a new official cable.
2. Update all the Apps. It's important that Google assistant works well.
3. In developers menu, tick on developer mode.
Now AA works fine but sometimes it disconnects. Maybe I have to revise battery savings App conf., or the screen must be ON all the time. I don't know ..
I've used P30 pro for both wired and wireless AA without any problem for more than year. So .
- You dont need official Huawei USB cable, any decent cable will do. I believe that was your problem, bad cable
- Updating all apps is in general good thing to do, but it doesn't influence connection with AA at all
- Forget developers mode, please . No need to think about it, and you actually may harm your phone by playing with it. It doesn't have any influence on AA
Enjoy AA in your vehicle

I completely agree with your appreciations. I’ve forgotten using developers mode and it seems to work. I bought a high quality cable and I cleaned the USB-C connector.
Currently I only have a problem: disconnections every few minutes (variable from 2-10 minutes). I am testing some things: AA permissions, non Battery savings, always on of the screen … but I can't find a pattern. Any idea what can be the problem? Does it happened the same to you with your P30 PRO wired to AA?
BR
I've switched to S22U last two months, so i cant share fresh experiences, but i can say that i haven't had any disconnection issues while P30p was not moving while connected to car.
But, when i moved phone for any reason, it would lost connection occasionaly. I've concluded that was caused by weak connection, and haven't investigated it further.
well, In my case it seems to be a cabling problem. I bought 2 high-quality cables, 1-meter long and 2-meter long. I had tested the shorter one. This morning I tested the longest one and my P30 isn't able to connect AA.
I'll buy a shorter cable (0,3 or 0,5m) in order to test again..
