diamond unlock free

I posted links to a free Diamond unlocker on here last week and subsequently recieved a 7 day ban.
The ban stated the reason was "posting other peoples work".
I didnt know if the software was working,fake,safe or easy to use as my device is already unlocked but in the nature of xdadev forums i posted it in case it was of use to anybody.
I most definately didnt claim the software as my own nor did i try to profit from the work of others.
I guess it upset somebody as like i said i recieved a weeks ban for my efforts which i think was kinda harsh considering.
Wouldve have been a bit more civil to have just removed the post,links and PMed asking/demanding that i dont post the software here or anywhere else and i would have happily complied.
**** i still dont know who banned me and for what reason exactly but i aint complaining about a poxy 7 day ban that was easily bypassed by logging in as a guest to browse the forums, just wouldve been nice to been asked a question before being shot.
Just for the record

If your post was legitimate (which I don't know if it was), surely somebody was jealous and wanted his own work promoted.
Wouldn't surprise me if he even wants money for it.

It's cuz the devs are charging money for unlocking the devices. They say it will be free later, so I guess until then nobody else can start giving out codes for free.

Yea thats what happened as far as I can see.
The software I aquired is being sold by the dev/devs which is fair enough if they feel its worth the asking price and theres a market then **** it
let them eat cake.
My reason for this post was just that I didnt care for the way the matter was dealt with by banning me with out so much as a valid reason or reply to my attempts to contact them over the last week.
I also posted to state the fact that i didnt claim the software to be mine or attempt to gain financial or kudos rewards for the post.
If like I stated I had been approached with the facts rather than just getting banned I would have happily removed the link and file from my hosting and even blagged that the software I had was a fake if that would have appeased the powers that be and kept the coin rolling in for the dev/devs.
The fact is the unlock solution is now in the wild and its probably pissed on theyre chips.
Also im now getting unsolicited PMs asking for the software and I aint the ignorant type.
I can understand people being pissed off as i was unintentionaly offering for free what they was selling but i just think the matter could have been dealt with differently.

I think that the software author in general has the right to ask for a remuneration for his hard work, if he feels like it.
I know exactly the feeling.
But what bothers me, is exactly what you've described: the WAY it's been delt with.

I wholeheartedly agree with you mate which is why like I mentioned If I had been informed I would have if able to, happily taken measures to repair and repent my minor discretion

I understand where you’re coming from innocent until proven guilty and all that. But, sh*t happens then you die... so don’t worry about it.

I also agree with you regarding the unlocker is out in the wild. It’s available on bit torrent and various online forums mostly in foreign languages...
I do like the idea that they have come up with which is to give it out for free to people who support this site and charge the ones that don’t as its most likely these people who will go on to profit out of the software by selling it on as a service.

Works on Vista Ultimate Perfectly!
The unlocker works on vista. I should know. It worked perfectly on my phone.
The last step's hit and miss. For some reason (i'm guessing the dev had a twisted sense of humor), the app'll close instantly unless you try and freeze it open. The best way to do this is launch diamunlock.exe and press the UP button on your phone REPEATEDLY. After about 5-10 tries, the program will stay open and you can take your time.
I do admire what the dev was doing by selling this but TBH from what i've seen about XDA-Dev, software is given away and donations are asked for later. This new approach of charge first and that's it, while expected, doesn't seem to fit with the ethos of xda-dev and as such, i don't feel like i should promote it by paying for the software.
Now if it had been donationware? Hell yeah you best believe i'd have sent 10-20 bucks the dev's way.

With this solution I've unlocked severall phones, and since I believe that knollege should be payed, I've given already 2 donations to this forum in general... of course I refuse to pay to anyone in specific if the solution is out for free!...
And I think everyone should recognise this forum's usefullness with some sort of donation, either knollege or money.

The Diamond has been with me ever since it was released in June, but there always seems to be this or that issues with every ROM release.
I'm considering the E71 as a replacement...but also trying to hold off on the purchase to see will the Diamond improve anytime soon.
Issues with my Diamond:
Accelerometer
Alarm sound not repeating
Memory leak

why everybody that think about changing the diamond feel the urge to announce it in a new thread that is coming to become a mess like all the same threads on the same subject? why? you are a senior member, you should know better.

"contribute" in the form of "useful information": no.
But I do have a question: With all the devices from HTC in the past, do they perform better over time, with newer ROM releases? Does HTC bother much with ROM updates even after the launch of each product? I guess I should have posted the "question" in the first post of this thread...but then again...it wouldn't be considered as useful information. Given this, it's why I'm trying to hold off my other purchase.
P.S. Not directed at anyone, but, some people on these forums just have a "I'm better than you" complex and have the urge to reply to threads saying "why start a new thread". Geez...just don't reply to it, it'll eventually be history and move itself down the list of threads. Unless you're the administrator concerning with storage issues.

well I dont have a problem with the Accelerometer or the Alarm sound not repeating, and the memory leak for me stabilises at 70% and stuff works fine and fast 4 me even then... go buy you symbian device if you want and perhaps get an iphone while your at it, good luck and good bye.

chatbox, i too just got the E71 after having the DIamond since its release, infact i think this will be my last Windows Mobile Phone well at least till windows 7 comes out.
I got so sick & tired of every rom, having either issues, or being slow at "certain" tasks & also the fact that with WMP's you need 2-3 steps to do the same task in 1 step on say a Nokia. Also once you use hard buttons like the keyboard on E71 you'll hate touch screen keyboard were its slow & many mistakes.
I will though miss flashing roms & trying diffrent tweaks in the registery etc..etc..
But honestly its a phone & i need 3 major tasks in a phone.
Simple, Fast & stable.
If u try the E71, i promise u wont regret it bro.

I think chatbox is desperately trying to find some solution for diamond problems he is suffering from using this thread. A last try just before leaving the boat.
I dont tink that is wrong from him. After all this community forum is all about assisting each other. If he is asking for help or openion that will not mess up the forum

sell my kaiser for an IPhone

So what do you think guys..Would it be wise for me to sell my kaiser over an IPhone? If not, please argue your response. I know this is a Windows Mobile thread, but I guess you can give me some objective answers.
Btw, if someone passed from IPhone to Kaiser or similar WinMob phone, I'd be very interested to hear from because I heard lots of users passing to IPhone but not the other way around.

I did exactly that, I had the Hermes (Cingular's 8525) and used this forum and ROMs from here and I thought all was great but I got into the hype and waited in line on opening day and got the Iph0ne (1st Gen)...
I used it for about a year (a little more) and well just got tired of it for me and my needs... Now I have the Kaiser (tilt) and I am not missing the Iph0ne.

Answering your question requires more information.
It entirely depends on what you use your phone for.
I find that having the full, hardware keyboard makes email, note taking, and appointment management much easier than on an iPhone.
So, what do you use your phone for?

I've been araound the internet since 1994, but it's incredible like I realize just few months ago (since I started my "adventure" with the channel) the the internet itself it's the mother of all idiots. The net it's just full of people who believe to hold the only truth. They and they only know what it's right and what it's wrong and are free to judge everyone else as they like. The only truth it's that they hide themselves behind a monitor. That's even the cause why, more and more often, it happens to see kids who feel like the grew up just because the post something rude.
I usually don't even try to answer to such a provocation, you know, I'm not one of those holding the universal truth, then I've already lost before starting!
I'll answer here even for what you wrote into the other thread defyining it "pointless".
Who decide if this (and the other) is a useless thread or not? You?! Just because you don't care about this device it means that no one else cares? Can you read? I wrote in the OP "if you are interested". This is the general section for the Xperia V too, then it's the right place to speak about this device in general. And maybe someone is interested in knowing a little bit more about this device.
Who are you to state that what I do is pointless nor useless? Do you know me? Do you know how much effort and passion I put in what I do? Do you know that I loose my sleeping hours 'cause that it's the only time I own for my passion? (my family and my job come first of course)
Given that, I'm not an hypocrite: of course I'm happy if more people see what I do, I'm happy to know that I've been useful to someone. it's the only "reward" I have, as I don't earn a single damn penny for what I do.

I own Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 SM-T595 (2018) model and i want to root this tab. Development of this model haven't started yes i guess, so i request developers to start development and guide us to root and recovery for this tab. thank you.

So why don't you do it? What kind of Dr. makes sad pouty faces because others are not lining up to do hundreds of hours of work on a mediocre tablet in exchange for absolutely nothing? Overbooked proctologist? I imagine you weren't planning to pay anyone anything to do work that you're requesting, but maybe I'm wrong about that? A ot of people will work on a given device because there's something they want out of it, or it would be especially useful, or.... someone found a vulnerability. Personal passion, wide popularity, the crowds of adoring women ... so many reasons, different for everyone working on every device.
What incentive do they have to assist you in this? Maybe it is your drive and insistence that this device open for every user to have full control of their personal information, which you display by all of the work you have done towards creating the root method here yourself? It's been a month since your post., please let me know what you have learned in your work so far

This is especially entertaining after trying to talk down to me... which wasn't very effective after repeatedly begging and pouting that no one will root a random device. to make your life easier. You don't have real books, or a memory card or hard drive to back those up, and you seem to honestly see begging random people to spend their lives doing things for you a more reasonable choice than buying one of those or a more popular tablet or any with an existing path to root. It's pathetic. I'm not even trying to insult you, it's honestly very sad. It's like pride, dignity, and shame have all vanished in favor of entitlement and expectation.

Man, you seriously need to see the posts again. I just posted couple of request , i did not abuse or wrong said any developer. And its was just 2-3 post in whole damn month. I dont understand what made you kids go off thread topic rather than helping and finding the way. God help you people.
Now stop here and Let me know if you find any way to root SM-595. If People are here to show attitude rather than developing , then better i should discontinue this thread.
