My OnePlus 3T had gone into a bootloop after updating. So I used the MsmDownloadTool V3.0.exe recovery tool to unbrick my phone. Thanks to this wonderful forum.
After this I could start my phone but wifi and bluetooth were not working. I could not make or receive calls but strangely I was able to access mobile internet. I flashed an official ROM from oneplus to my device to update the firmware but no success.
I have installed TWRP and SuperSu.
MAC address is shown as 02.00.00.00....
IP address unavailable.
In Root Browser
/persist/wlan_mac.bin
/etc/firmware/wlan/qca_cld/wlan_mac.bin
files shows valid mac address.
Current situation:
No Wifi
No Bluetooth
Cant make or receive calls
Mobile internet working
Please help..!!!
Hi I am facing exactly the same issues. Have you managed to solve yours?
If you have a backup of your EFS partition, you can try if your phone works again after you have restored it.

Unfortunatley I do not have EFS backedup. Any luck without that? or can I reuse someone's else or rebuild somehow?
Thanks for your reply.
I don't know if an EFS restore would have helped, that was just an idea.
You can't use the EFS partition of another phone because it contains data like IMEI and so on.
Did you search the forum for problems with EFS already ?
Boot into fastboot mode and try typing these two commands:
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
This will force Qualcomms' modem to rebuild itself upon next boot.
Note that you have to have unlocked bootloader in order to be able to do this.

No luck, I tried all three methods as described here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/fix-empty-imei-unknown-baseband-sim-t3480781 but no success. No idea how to check if my EFS is really broken or not.
One thing I noticed, if I try to update to latest stock, the phone bootloops. Only os it works is that comes default with MSM tool which is pretty old. And from that os, it is not possible to connect to wifi, bluetooth etc.

Did you solve the problem? I am in the same situation.
after msmdownloadtool to unbrick no wifi - I found a fix
If you unbrick your phone with msmdownloadtool and then have no wifi, the solution I found is to do a locale upgrade of the OS.
Just search google for OOS 9.0.5 for OnePlus 3T (my phone), copy it to your phone and do a locale update. Problem fixed

Hi friends,
i am unable to turn on my wifi and i have bluetooth issue also..When i click on wifi toggle its automatically going to off and bluetooth does not showing any devices...Can any one please help...
I found below thread for this kind of issue..But it did not solve my problem.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/fix-wifi-missing-file-t3007540
Can anybody share the Bluetooth and wifi bin files for moto g5s plus.
Thanks in advance
Did you try rebooting? You could always try wiping the cache. Otherwise, you might need to reset the radio, but do this at your own risk, there's always a chance that you'll end up having to do a factory reset.
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
Okay...
My redmi 4x turn off itself after few second
I can access Fastboot but no recovery
I already tried Flash via edl
But the problem persist when the flash is succes
I try charging when turning on
Same problem too
So...
It is hardware problem?
Or Anyone got any tips?
Ty
Hi, guys
I ran the following commands in fastboot
fastboot set_active a
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot
The phone was stucked in that screen where there is a colored line changing from left to right.
So I entered again into fastboot and type to go back to slot B.
fastboot set_active b
fastboot reboot
It started normally, but Wi-fi and fingerprint are not working.
Any fix? Factory reset?
I'm afraid of doing that and lose all data and wi-fi don't work again to restore.
Hello, I would backup all the data trough usb then perfom a factory reset, maybe try a different rom, Havoc is bug free for me, much better than stock. It's a software issue, so software can fix it.
i am also facing same problem after flashing pie rom, help me

Factory reset solved for me.
Factory reset did not help me..
ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED
EDIT: IF anyone ever has any issues flashing a factory image or an OTA, try changing your cable.

Hello, attempted to flash the update using Minimal ADB & Fastboot tool and it tells me this FAILED (remote: 'Partition should be flashed in fastbootd')
I downloaded Platform tools and attempted to flash the factory image using the updated fastboot , half way down the flashing process it says, rebooting into fastboot and reboots into fastbootd instead, the phone doesn't recognize any fastboot commands.. I can enter recovery and fastboot but not sure how to reflash the images now, currently my phone is soft bricked..

Use a different cable. This was happening to my 3xl after Android 10. It worked fine on P though. Anyway, started using a different cable and it worked no problem. Used the same cable on my 4xl and no issue. Hope this helps

Thank you for your reply, i was just about to come and edit the post saying i've fixed the issue, the issue indeed was the cable. i was using an old Pixel cable which only worked whilst in fastboot, the cable wouldn't even charge my pixel 4xl whilst in the USB ports. Thanks again

Awesome! I have to admit, I was REALLY nervous flashing the Nov image. After having this problem with my 3xl, I was worried I'd soft brick my new phone. Anyway, glad it's working!
