Answer the call via Samsung buds plus when connecting Samsung watch 3 - Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

When my smartphone are connecting both Samsung Watch 3 and Samsung Buds plus, the phone call just only answered via Watch 3, although i can hear the ring tones from my buds. I tried to press the transfer to phone icon, but it didnt work.
How do I answer from my buds?

Go to bluetooth settings, tap on the wearable you want to use for calls, then select the 'calls' option on the page that shows up.
Also, on the phone, go to 'Smart Things' it's a good idea to enable the option to open apps directly from the media panel (Enable App Shortcuts)
Now you have options for your wearables regarding which of them does what.

Tks for your responding. My phone is not Samsung Brand, but i spent my time to find the simple way: Don't answer the incoming call from the watch, just tap the touch bar's galaxy buds to answer, also calling away, just touch on the phone. Bluetooth connected only 1 device at the same time.
This is the solution what i found.

Hands Free Button on Call Status Screen?

One annoyance I've found with my Fuze's call status screen is I would have to go to the menu to turn hands-free on/off.
The fuze's got a long menu thanks to AT&T's PTT craps, so i would have to click menu -> scroll up -> click hands-free to transfer call between handset and my headset.
My wife's got an iphone and the Speaker Phone icon turns into a select source (forgot the exact name and can't find screenshot online) button when bluetooth is detected, clicking the button brings up a list to select "Speaker", "Phone" or "Bluetooth" which easily transfer call to any of the 3 places.
Anybody know similar solutions for WM6 or anything at all that would transfer call to/from bluetooth with button clicks?
Thanks in advance

Search for the diamond dialer skin, install it and it will do what you are wishing.
Thanks for the reply
I've found these skins and will try it out.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403484
But I don't find mention of the "Hands-Free" button?
Try this .cab I think its more of what your looking for.
It's very pretty skin but it's just a skin.
To move the call to/from bluetooth headset i still need to click menu, find "Turn hands-free on/off" and click on it.
On the iphone, this is readily available via 2 button clicks.
So if you're headset is connected (via bluetooth) it doesn't automatically answer with the headset? I've only had my fuze for 2 days so I'm still getting the hang of it. But I do have a bluetooth hands-free stereo in my car, and if I get a call it picks up automatically with the car's hands-free. But I guess it would be nice to be able to quickly switch back to the handset during certain calls so that passengers don't have to hear the conversation.
There is nothing I've seen that will give you the connection options on a big button on the screen while in a call, only speaker phone. You already know that you can route it back to the phone with the menu option, but you can also route it back to the headset just by touching the answer button on said headset. I realize that won't help you if you want to go from headset to speakerphone, but if you hold the answer button on the phone with an incoming call, it should put you straight to speakerphone even if there is a headset attached.
But again, there is no app I've seen that gives you a button to switch the call to any source you choose.
Thanks, I think this is the answer I need - using the right hardware buttons the right way at the right time.
It's not as convenient as having one button to switch calls to different places imho but I guess it doesn't bother many people since I don't find this feature request anywhere.

Connection

Anyone has any idea, why if you go outside the phones range GEAR disconnects, but when you come back it does not want to connect automaticly.
I mean this watch got to get a update soon. with all the problems and lack of software.
OK, maybe I got it.
If you go to Bluetooth settings and click GEAR, you got the choose:
-automatic connection
-ask me every time.
So automatic will be.
But I will not test it, because I already put it on local ebay for 199 eur.
PROBLEMS that Samsung has to fix, or the hell with them:
-controlling music via gear to your phone
-giving the option that gear connects to your phone only with the connection and not with the media. (can not use BT ear set to listen to music) like pebble
-automatic disabling the screen when you go to sleep mode
-giving the alarm in the gear directly and not over the phone
-when answering a phone call with the phone and not the gear, sound comes from the phone instead on the gear (this is the stupid thing ever. I answer the phone and people scream on my wrist)
this is the list witch i can not live without, so come quickly my moto 360.

These two have me confused by exactly what you mean. Obviously you are getting rid of it, im more just curious if im understanding correctly.
I have a BT headset connected and have listened to music directly from my Neo while its still connected to my phone, is this not what you mean?
And when i answer a call from my phone, it comes through my phone, so i am confused by this one as well.

WHAT I meant:
I. example
1 (pebble , phone, BT headset)
All are connected, I can listen to my music which is on my phone, control it via pebble (volume up/down, next song pause....) and listen on my BT headset (BEATGO2)
2. (GEAR and BT Headset)
OK, you can only have 2,4 GB of music on GEAR (for the first time is OK, but I'm not gona change all the time my music collection
I connect BT headset via GEAR and listen to music.
3. (Not possible)
My GEAR connects to my phone. Now I want to listen to my music and put my BT headset. I connect my BT headset and my GEAR immediately disconnects.
Now I can not control my music via GEAR but via BT headset and I don't have GEAR ONLINE so it suxs. And after music, I have to manually connect my GEAR to my phone, and than my BT headset disconnects.
II. example
My gear is connected to my phone (which is the main part of the smart watch).
I got a call. I quickly pull out my phone and answer the phone. I start talking on my phone, but sound is coming not through my phone , but through my GEAR.
Microphone and speaker are on GEAR, I have to click BT speaker OFF on my PHONE to talk through my phone. EVERY TIME. And I don't like to talk all the time over GEAR, In crowded places NO GO.
I wanted to disconnect PHONE functions on my BT setting on my GEAR connection, but there is not a possibility. If i just click anything on GEAR , it just disconnects.
And I will not click every time that i have a call. First ANSWER that quickly BT disconnect,.(it is just stupid)
I hope you all have a good picture of the problem.
Am I missing something in setting or what.
OK, I don't have Samsung phone , I have LG G2, but any case It shouldn't do this.
Im guessing the phone call thing happens to be a downfall of not using a TW device? Seems maybe the phone sees the watch as a headset and tries communicating that way? just a theory.
I think your issue is using a non Samsung phone and thinking a device that's only officially compatible with Samsung phone's will and should work fully.
And finally what gets me angry is people not reading what a device can do BEFORE buying it! If you don't then the only person to blame is yourself and not the company.

why, I know it's not compatible, And I know it works... but this are the small problems, that no one knows before you try. I would go in one minut to SGS4 but I love my G2 and no Samsung for me. Been there done that.
So thanks for the info, than on Samsung phone, calls work.
We are one step closer.
Still I don't know if I'm gona sell it. I put 200 eur so in other way I'm gona wait for the update and work it than. (I like this watch... but...)
I have no option on my z1 for automatic reconnect, and have same trouble when getting out of range, the gear never reconnect unless I toggle bluetooth off and on ( on watch or on phone) or clicking connect in gear manager. Must be a drawback for not using samsung phone as it works with my bluetooth headset.
Call works perfectly though.
If your on a phone that says auto reconnect make sure you hit it, I had to test it with my wife's phone just to make sure it worked properly....If you have a Samsung phone it will auto this for you.....If you have a phone that doesn't have either feature ask your manufacturer about it or ask about it the Q&A section of XDA in device category to see how activate this feature.

i have problem reconnect too, i'm using s4 zoom and every time my gear is getting back to range its not reconnecting.
i have 4.2.2, dont have the option auto connect in bluetooth settings.
any ideas?

Gear 2 not getting Phone calls

I have a note 3 stock 5.0 and stock gear 2 with all updates. My gear receives all notifications except phone calls. I even get missed call notifications. I can also use gear 2 dialer to make phone calls. I have tried restarting phone and restarting gear 2. Even tried connecting and disconnecting gear 2. Also toggle bluetooth. Watch is connected in bluetooth to phone audio.
Is there some setting I am missing. Everything works except I cannot reject or receive a phone call. Gear does not respond at all when phone is ringing. Please help if you can. I really need this function. I know it used to work. I cann9t find phone as a separate item on the notifications list. I don't know if it should be there to check.

No Text Notification or Call ability when at home

My Setup: LG G5 with Urbane 2nd Edition -
I am unable to get have any text messaging notifications or phone call ability when I am at home. calls and texts ring on phone, and watch sits there no response. I get that it is cellular signal issues, but my phone works fine and there isn't any kind of Bluetooth connection between them that I can tell.
I came from a Galaxy Gear S2, and in the basement when phone would get a call or text, they'd show up just fine on the watch. Not with my new LG G5 and Urbane 2nd edition.
The S2 would work as a Bluetooth external mic and speaker basically, so it didn't rely on the data connectivity for this functionality. Any idea if the Android Wear Urbane 2 can do it?
I'm also working on getting a Microcell from AT&T -
Here is troubleshooting I have performed in get this working:
Factory Reset Watch -
Removed Bluetooth Pairing from Phone -
Uninstalled/Reinstalled Android Wear -
That did nothing, still remembers watch -
"Forget Watch" in Android Wear -
100% from scratch redid "Pair with your watch" process now that both watch and phone have been system updated -
Set to ignore Optimizations while setting up the "Always be connected" options -
Set Screen Always on to OFF -
Started Syncing 21 apps back process automatically -
Successfully reactivated AT&T Number Sync as factory reset sent me a text it disabled -
Verified apps aren't in the blocked notification list -
~~
STILL cannot get text notifications or calls on it when at home -
The other problem I have found with this is my Bluetooth does not have a call or media audio profile option.
Everything else, my car, headset, Gear S2's etc, show "Call" and "Media Audio" profiles in the Bluetooth sync menu for that device.
This Watch only shows Change Watch name and Unpair.
I've read people saying that the Cellular Urbane should be like "Do you want to use watch or phone to place call"

I believe it works this way when numbersync isn't activated. I don't have AT&T so I don't have the numbersync option. Without numbersync, I have an option in my bluetooth settings on the watch for "play phone audio on watch". When paired by bluetooth I have the option to call with phone or watch. I have to use the call forwarding option when I leave the phone behind to get calls to the phone to be sent to the watch.
hm, I tried disabling the Number Sync and re-pairing but it doesn't change the bluetooth profile.
Perhaps it is just AT&T Models don't have it
This thread here confirms that An Urbane 2nd edition should ask "Watch or Phone" when making a call
https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/android-wear/v5-gJCTwa3w/VO_ap8b_AQAJ
I see where it specifies watch calling but it never asks which I wanna use

I have the AT&T model. I just don't use AT&T service. I have the option under bluetooth settings on the watch to 'play phone audio on watch'. I believe you have to turn off numbersync in the watch settings and not just through AT&T. Is there a setting on the watch under settings>cellular>number sync.... to deactivate it?

Hi there you need to make sure that you uncheck the options to share number with phone for calls and also texts, you will then have the option to 'pay audio on watch' under bluetooth settings, this was it will notify you of call on watch and phone (much like a standard non LTE/3G wear watch

Urbane 2 - Use bluetooth calls from phone instead watch

Hi,
By default when i use ok google call XYZ the call is being made on the watch itself and not on the mobile phone.

If you're paired to phone via Bluetooth, make sure you're not connected to number sync... In order to use the voice diameter to initiate a call from your phone: settings -> Bluetooth -> enable phone audio: ON
Note when you "OK Google, call Batman" it will dial through your phone (if data is enabled it will prompt you to choose phone or watch).
Two annoyances:
1. Even though it's now using your phone, it will default to the watch speaker and microphone- obviously you can change on your phone's call screen to phone. Unfortunately, without phone audio enabled in Bluetooth it will not route calls through your phone.
2. If numbersync is on, the watch will assume it's a phone, even if paired. But, you just have to toggle it off (rather than disassociating).
Good luck!

Hi.
I have a similar problem. In the LG Watch Urbane 1 gen all worked fine, in 2 I have a problem because I am using a Bluetooth headset. And I wanted to call with a Bluetooth set instead of a watch. If enabled "enable phone audio: ON" then the watch is ringing only by the watch, as I turn off it stops ringing completely. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Solved
I solved the problem using two applications "Bluetooth Auto Connect" and "MacroDroid".
