My tab is boot looping and not opening the tab. I tried to go to recovery mode by pressing pwr+vlm down button but the factory reset option is not showing up. Later i tried pwr+vlm+home buttopn together and downloading mode appears.
I think i have to hard reset using odin mode. So how to identify and find out the files of odin mode of my tab.
N.B. My tab was rooted
Expert please help.

Having a T810 I access recovery with home+vol-up+pwr together.
If it was rooted were you still on stock recovery?
If you only can access download mode you'd better flash the stock ROM via Odin.
Don't know about hard reset with Odin.

hi, i made a reset in privacy-> reset factory and now my tab is stuck in download mode, without rebooting. please help me, what should i do?
You need to provide more info, stock rom or custom, rooted or not, GSM, CDMA or wifi only.
If GSM, you could try to go to the recovery manager, power off gtab, hold up volume and power until the boot screen appears, release power, use the buttons to do a factory reset then reboot, see what that does...
euro tab, wifi+3g, 2.3.3, official rom.
i'll try recovery manager.
thanks
If tab always boots into download mode your rom is corrupt. Flash a fresh rom.
hi all!
i have a problem with my samsung galaxy next.
I'm not able anymore to enter in recovery mode and also to root it (i have also tried to root it via pc).
If i try to enter in recovery mode (vol up+home+power) the phone says "ramdump mode".
Another problem is that if i try to restore factory settings the phone reboot in recovery mode showing some error and it doesn't restore factory settings.
I can just reload stock rom via odin :crying:
I would change rom, with the stock one the battery draining is unbearable.
the problem with the recovery mode came after i came back to stock rom (i have tried mod rom).
Try vol down+home+power. It will work.
EDIT: Oops this is the download mode! As other guys telling Home+Power only.

Turn off your phone, Hold your Power and Home button at the same time, when the Samsung logo comes up, release the power button BUT keep holding your HOME button. Then go Wipe data/factory reset, it's the same thing.
"Press "thanks" if I helped you "

You don't go into recovery by holding volup+home+power buttons. You go into recovery mode by holding only Home+Power buttons.

Hi everybody!
I've a Samsung galaxy mini. I tried to recovery when I did a soft brick. But now, any firmware that I have downloaded work. I have tried with 10 diferents firmware from sammobilet but nothing. I can open the download mode and Odin Multidownloader can recognize my device.
When I charge and new firmware the mobile try to start but always it is the same situation with display saying SAMSUNG SAMSUNG.
I don't know what I can do.
Please Help!
you will need to flash a four package firmware
what it means is pda phone modem csc all must be filled with relevant file
flash the firmware
let it boot
it will go into recovery and will do some processing
and in no time you would be at your homescreen
boot into recovery (turn phone off then hold down middle button and power) then clear cache and data... reboot and see if that works.
I cann't go into the recovery mode just into download mode....

Hi guys, so i got a new Mini2, and... messed with it, pulled a firmware version from a dif zone by mistake... after i had cwm jena and clockworkz working, installed that asian firmware, and never got the phone to work again, tried several stock rom installs (17 and counting, with/without jena firmware download also), it just keeps doing the boot loop, and i can't access the Recovery menu (vol +/- home power buttons at start).
I've been reading all the meaningful threads here, tried doing button combination with battery, without and nothing seems to work.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Take it to samsung service senter if u got warranty and if isnt try to use another mini 2 battery but I think it may not work and try to press all butoms at same time for 2min and if nothing work buy or make a JTag
Sent from my GT-S6500D using xda app-developers app
go to download mode and don't accept terms (up volume) and quick hold recovery combination when it will start to reboot (ofc when samsung logo will appear don't hold keys). Try few times and it will work, if not 1st then another time. Do factory restet, reboot phone and take off battery. Turn on in download mode and install MD1 XEO stock and do again factory reset using trick from above (go to download mode and don't accept terms (up volume) and quick hold recovery combination when it will start to reboot.)

I have similar problem:
1. no recovery mode, only download mode
2. no matter what stock firmware I flash using odin I get bootloop
I tried the trick to go download mode > reject codition and then press the recovery mode combination but did not work
I wonder if there is a Cyanogen firmware in tar.md5 format so I can flash with odin ?

Hello,
I foolishly selected boot into recovery mode in ROM manager hoping it would work and now my phone is soft bricked. It's suck at the boot logo. This phone doesn't have recovery mode only download mode. But I can't keep the phone on long enough because it powers off and goes back to the boot screen. I should add that when I plug it in the computer it goes off and vibrates but when I put it in the charging port in stays on. Help me please.
