Hi friends, i buy my device yesterday and when i put my SDCARD of 4GB, my device does not mount the card... i try formating in fat, fat32, ntfs and nothing happens, but when i put my SDCARD of 2GB, my device mount the card and work perfectly. I have two SDCARD's of 4GB and none work in this device, on my galaxy ace, sdcard work normally.
What's happen?
Solved. I purchased a 32Gb sdcard.
Hi everybody...
I currently see a weird behavior with my N7000 i'd like to clear up.
I have the N7000 with 16GB internal memory (2 standard partitions) plus one 64gb SD card (SDcard1).
The card (exFat) is mounted correctly and works...
I am running Cyanogen stable release cm-10.1.3-n7000.
The weirdness starts, when the card contains more than 32GB of data:
-Camera shows error: No external storage
-SD card is still accessible.
-Internal partition 2 (SDcard0) is no longer mounted
-External SDcard (SDcard1) is available with full capacity
The problem only occurs, when the external SD card contains more than 32gb AND the device is rebooted. When i put in the freshly formatted card and fill it up over 32gb, internal storage stys mounted and works.
So it seems to me, that the N7000 or Android for that matter can only manage 32gb of the SDcard and the internal memory at a time, at least during mounting SDcard1.
Any hints or solutions are welcome...

In order to help you properly more info is needed. what brand SD card is it, did you do the formatting or by the phone? I ask because I had the same problem with my GS4 using a cheap 64GB card from ebay. I did everything I could including changing many kernels to find one that would read the card properly, no go. In my research I found out that there are some people that are selling cards that are not truly 64GB and conforming to the eXFAT system. I returned the card for a refund and spent a little more and bought a Sandisk 64GB (true eXFAT formatted) and all my problems went away. I am not here saying that you must buy Sandisk, I am suggesting that you try a true high capacity eXFAT card to see if there is a difference. I explained my problem to the vendor and presented my research and he recalled the card without a hic-up.
Try to format it to fat32

how can i swap my internal storage to sd card im currently using jb 4.3
yesterday i've just flashed my p970 with ICS 4.0.4 stock room (rooted).
is there any thing can i do to swap my internal storage with my sdcard?
because i can't found my internal storage mount point.
i want to make 32gb sdcard as my internal and 1gb internal as external sd.
anyone can help?
Hi,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000. It is rooted and running both a custom rom and a custom kernel. It runs:
Custom Rom: ElectRom V2.0 ICS 4.0.4 for Galaxy GT-i9000
Custom Kernel: Devil Kernel or Devil2_0.79_i9000_CFS_BLN_VC_XL_bm_20120501
Situation:
I have an external 16GB MicroSD card inserted in the device and I want to move apps to that external sdcard, but when I went into Settings>Apps>On SD card I found that it only had about 2GB of memory. I downloaded Storage Analyser to see what was going on. I saw it marked as /sdcard, but the external memory sdcard is labeled /emmc. It seems that my phone recognizes my internal memory card as the sdcard instead of my 16GB external sd card.
My questions are: is this with android or my phone or even the custom rom? I tried flashing another kernel which is Devil2-0-64-i9000-CFS-BLN-CMC-XL-20120405 and it detects my external sdcard memory fine which is is 16GB of memory. I'm not sure if this is with the kernel.I also see in Settings>Storage that it appears fine as an external sdcard with 16GB of memory.
I've included screenshots of the Settings>Apps>On SD Card and of Storage Analyser
