Today I entered 3 events into my calendar. 45 mins later they were missing. I had to enter them a second time and thankfully they remained. This has happened many times over the past number of months. It's why I always get an appointment card at doctor visits. does anyone know what could be causing it? could it be that I turn on and off my mobile data?

Hey!
I seriously need some help here. Toolbar clock keeps changing. Suddenly it is on time and then the next time I turn it on it might have gone back 2 hours.
Example.
I turn it on and the clock shows 15.34.
I check my calendar and turn it off (standby)
I turn it on again the next time, say after 30 min. The clock SHOULD show 16.04, but it might say 07.17.
Anybody had the same problem?
I tried calling out, send a message, etc. but the clock does not change. Sometimes it goes back to normal, ie. it displays the correct time without me doing anything, but today it has not and the time is still wrong.
This is seriously annoying. I use my phone as my watch and I need it to display the correct time at ALL times.
Thanks
Hi, helangen.
I had a similar problem involving time. I kept finding that every so often my appointments kept changing by an hour. Everytime I went to the clock settings it showed plus one hour. So changed it back and then it would do it again and change to a time zone ahead.
Under "settings/personal/phones" there is a tab that says time zones. this controls whether or not the phone changes the time zones and clock automatically.
Personally, i erased my phone using clear storage under "settings/system" and started a fresh making sure I choose the right time zone and regional settings first off. Then entered all my reoccuring appointments and restored a copy of my PIM with the latest version of PIMBACKUP. At least this saved me entering all my contacts and kept my sms and mms.
I then unticked the automatic option I mentioned earlier and have had not one time related problem since.
Don't know if this will help but it can't hurt to share as you never know..

Cheers. I'll give that a try. It's not that the clock just changes with an hour, but it is totally random how it changes. I might have to do a hard reset ;(
I can confirm that this solution worked. Thanks. Turned off the automatic timezone change and the clock have been correct for three days straight.
I upgraded to 6.1 about a month ago and everything was working fine at first. Then a couple of weeks ago it started to freeze up when I attempted to open e-mail or sms. It doesn't happen when using any other function or program on the phone, but once it starts I have to soft-reset.
It doesn't do it every time. Sometimes I can send and receive twenty text messages before I have a problem. Other times it happens the first message after resetting. And other times, it just doesn't show me the letters I'm typing but moves the cursor forward.
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any advice on how to solve it? I'm not really fond of having to do a soft reset half a dozen times a day.
I will enter a date or appointment and with in a few minutes it is gone! This has happened several-MANY times, even after I have removed the battery, and sim turned the phone on and off..Have any of you had this problem and how to correct it? Thank you,
Are you syncing with another application? Which?
Do you have bluetoothe syncing enabled - and - is it active in your calendar sync?
Does it happen randomly or only when you enter a date or appointment?
Has this happenned from when you first bought your device - or - did it begin after an update or an additional application addition?
Peace-
calander
My apts are always entered as corp. apts for my corp exchange account. This acct is set to sync every 15 minutes during the day. This is how I keep track of my time and post it to my server for accounting and billing. This didnt start happening until I had had the phone for about 2 months. Now it occurs randomly. My sync is via wiFi or At&t data link. I dont use Blue tooth. Things will work fine for several days then one day decide not to for a while. I had sat there and entered a service call 3 and 4 times only to watch it dissappear within 5 minutes. Turning the phone off, taking the battery out might fit it or might not. Then it will start working again. The next day it will work for sure. Phone has been replaced once with the same problems. I have very few apps as this is mostly a phone and time keeping tool for me.
Thank you for your help
Hi. I have a dual SIM P9 on the latest software (EVA-L19C432B386).
I just got the phone around 2 weeks ago, and I did a full update and full wipe/hard reset when I got it. I finished setting up all my apps and settings and everything has been really great and I really like the phone.
Until two nights ago, I noticed that when I send texts, it would just say "Sending..." under the message bubble for 15 minutes or more (sometimes upto an hour). It's the same with both SIMs on two different networks. Calls would come in just fine, and I could still receive texts, so it couldn't be a signal issue (Signal was 4-5 bars on both networks)
I tried swapping out the SIMs, putting my sim on another phone, and on the same location, texts send really quick. I also tried putting other SIMs on my P9 and the same thing happens, the text messages take forever to send. Sometimes it works well, I could easily send texts on both networks. But after a few minutes it starts acting up again and it just says sending for the longest time.
I've tried clearing the data of messages app (it didnt delete the text messages), I also manually deleted all texts, I tried using another SMS app, and I also tried clearing cache and dalvik data, to no avail.
Any thoughts?
UPDATE:
Hard reset fixed the problem. I was almost sure it would fix the problem but i was hesitant since I didn't want to have to set up all my stuff over again.
I did a nandroid backup before doing a hard reset. Restoring the backup also restores the problem.
So hard reset fixed it, but I probably would never know what caused it. I didn't install anything new on the day it happened, and I havent installed any apps I havent tried before. To think it's only been 2 weeks since my last reset. I hope I wouldnt have to do another hard reset 2 weeks from now.
ANOTHER UPDATE 7/14/17
It's back again. Texts take a really long time to send. After I've set up all my stuff, apps, accounts, etc, it was all well. Less than a week later its back at it again. Didn't install anything new. It just started acting up on its own. Not sure how to solve this, or where to look first.
Hi at all,
I need to ask help at the community to solve my problem, because I tried all the ways to clean up my phone but without any good results.
some days ago (at 15 november evening) after a normal activity of apps update by Play Store, a strange log.txt file begins to appear in the memory of myphone. Location "/storage/emulated/0/Download".
In that file I can find attached avery 15 minutes a dettailed summary information of my SIM1 (I have two SIM in my phone). At below an example of data recorded in the file. It's the same repeated and appended every update of the file.
1574024271270;NW-MONITORING - Collect - CSV_DATA;[NUMBER OF MY SIM],[SERIAL N. OF MY SIM],[IMEI OF MY PHONE],1574024271145,0,4,-1.0,-1.0,-1.0,false,22288,-1,-1,-1,-103,false,false,true,47,0,656,IR=false;ID=4;LI=0;WF=<unknown ssid>;DS=1;
I tried to cancel all app updated before the fact. It did not work
I tried with factory reset of the phone and restore a backup of my data. After some hours the strange file's activity has been reborn.
Yesterday, after a system update the file's activity has been stopped for some time (1 hour about).
Do you have any ideas to help me?
Thanks at all for your suggestions and helps.

-factory reset.
-DONT restore data. keep phone stock
if after 1 day or two the issue dosen't come back. you know its something you installed.
might want to install 1 app at a time and wait till the problem comeback. that way you'll know what is responsible.
Same problem on my Samsung S3 Neo.
Telephone number, serial number of Sim, IMEI of telephone...
I disinstalled l'App MyWind and the file was no longer written...
I reinstalled today l'App MyWind and nothing..... for now.
