So, battery life issues of Galaxy Z Fold 2 seem to be more of a myth and battery life looks good. A video on the YouTube shows 6 hours 57 minutes Screen on time with 4% battery left for usage from 10.00 am to 11.00 pm. The only limiting feature of Fold 2 is a missing SPen.
One more concern is better cameras of Note 20 Ultra, but reviews show not much difference except the zoom capabilities and the difference does become visible when images are cropped. Yes, Ultra has better Cameras, but Fold 2 looks pretty good in Camera department. A per many reviews, low light photos of Fold 2 are better than Note 20 Ultra.

As per what I have been told, no free covers. No free cover in box, there is a charger and USB C to C cable, Sim Pin and a manual.

I am worried on account of availability of screen protectors and cases. Also not sure on the durability of the phone.
I have used original Galaxy Fold for a few hours and really liked it, so looking to buy the Fold 2. My friend owns the Original Fold and it is working fine and he loves the form factor.

I have used the original fold for a good 2 months didn't have any problems.
The main reason to buy fold 2 is bcoz of front bigger screen, hinge , SNAPDRAGON 865+ ( thankfully no Exynos)...and as far as cases are concerned my store guy is telling will get the original ones one week after launch..and for screen protectors for outside screen we can search on Amazon..

Nothing available on Amazon India as of now. No covers and no screen protectors. Do let me know if you are able to find any accessories online.
I am sick and tired of the normal form factor of mobiles and so looking for a change with this folding phone. Snapdragon is great & performance/battery life gets greatly enhanced. The reviews are really positive on the new hinge too, so overall things are looking good.
Would be booking Mystic Bronze at a Samsung Experience Store tomorrow afternoon.
Booked Fold 2, Mystic Bronze colour today at a Local Experience Centre. Expected delivery date is approximately 26 to 28th September.

I stopped using mine. The battery is great but it just weighs down the phone too much and the case is already huge.
It is significant for those of us that use the battery.

I'm not sure everyone will agree with you
For me the weight is a non issue as ive been able to lift a half a pound since i was a baby and would have expected more people to be able to do the same. All the nonsense of thinner and lighter blows my mind
Cant wait till the extra protection gets here. Been waiting on this case for almost 6 months

If the regular battery and a case lasts the entire day why would you add the extra weight and potential extra damage if dropped?
With the rugged case I'm sure I'll be using it more with the extra protection as I wasn't impressed with the stock case and it's finish fading.

Thats just it, if you actually use your phone you can drain the battery easily in 4 hours. I have at least 10 apps i can only use while at home after work because they WILL drain the battery rediculously fast. Now on the flip side if its a really busy day at work and i have data and such turned off i can have 90% left when i get home. But thats only if i dont use it.
The dropping it with the extra weight part doesnt concern me as im fairly careful with a $700 device

It seems like they've tiptoed back again on this; at least, I haven't seen it for sale yet, and their website apparently has entirely different dates. This battery is great, but waiting for the rugged case has been an exercise in patience. The Note 3 is getting a rugged case apparently right off the bat, yet we've been sitting with the previous version waiting for just the case itself for months.

I would, but as I'm A: not married, and B: not a lesbian, I don't have a wife. :silly:
Also, I like my Note 2 just fine. About the only thing that interests me in the Note 3 is that the S-Pen works with the buttons. Otherwise, I plan on keeping this phone for another year, with the ZeroLemon battery; it would just be nice to not have to mod a damn case to give it more protection.

Haha all good points but I must admit, the new memo with it's advanced handwriting recognition has come in handy daily since I got my n3. Love it!!

Apparently, they've at least come out with the extended battery charger (FFS FINALLY), but, at least on the Facebook page, there's been plenty of people asking where the heck the Note 2 rugged is, since they promised it what, last week? And no new answers.

Extra weight? It's a few ounces. If you can lift a can of soda I'm assuming you can manage to lift your phone.
The finish isn't fading from my original zl case and I was one of the relatively early adopters.
As for drop protection, my phone survived flying out of my car and didn't get a scratch.

Oh don't worry, very soon he will be rocking 10000 mAh ZL battery for N3, and a rugged case. I have a feeling everybody is going to get their rugged case before Note 2. I was joking before saying it would be funny to have release of N2 rugged case on November 1st to celebrate one year release of Note 2. Right now it's starting to look like a reality lol!!!
Btw, still no rugged case here... Do you guys realize that a first time I mentioned about rugged case (from ZL guys) was probably around early June time? That's 5 months of waiting for something that might... but anyway, I'm not making any judgment based on other comments or s3 pictures. Let's wait and see if I ever going to get it in my hands for review before the actual amazon availability. At this point it doesn't look like anything groundbreaking except for removable backplate to support different battery sizes and modded Defender mold.

I purchased it and then cancelled it hours later. Too expensive to maintain. I'm using a wet install Skinomi and like it enough to not want to swap it out.

If you read the thread on the dome glass you will see alot of unhappy campers and a track record of poor customer service from them. Some say after 3 weeks after a perfect install, it pulls up on the right side. Not interested until there is a new revision on the glass or the process.

I wouldn't pay full price for the Whitestone, I got it when they liquidated some stock for pennies. I don't know if the issue is the TGSP or their Loca formula but it seems very pressure sensitive (whether it's pressure from being on a pocket, or holding onto it tightly). My 2nd protector, which has only been on about 2-3 weeks now, has minor lines on the center-sides where it curves. Very minor, but if they do what the last one did in the upper right corner, they will spider out further.

i picked one up for the $30 deal i have a friend that says its awesome so i will give it a shot!
i got one for $40 CDN after Amazon.ca adjusted the price yesterday. It was $30 on Amazon US, so it comes to $40 CDN after the exchange rate.

It's a great case, seems like it'll provide solid protection. My only complaint is that the lip is not raised much above the screen. So if the phone falls screen-first, it will shatter for sure

Hey, I have the same case for poco and redmi note 5 pro, noticed that the case on note 5 pro is smooth on the sides whereas the poco case has a bit of raised edge on all sides, where back n front come together.
Could you please confirm if your case has the same design style/issue?
The case is actually amazing. Been using it for a few days. I'm disappointed with the small bump to protect the front. One thing I absolutely love about the case is that the phone feels more comfortable in hands. People have complained that it feels more bulky (that's how it should be), but for me the handling seems better this way and yes, I do use my phone with one hand for most of the time.

Hey, similar opinions about the case, no issues with one handed operation too, except thr different styles of construction that I observed between this and other Kapaver case for note 5 pro.
Could you please share some pictures of the case's sides?
Purchased this case from Amazon USA. I find it to be completely uncomfortable for daily usage. The left and right sides are peaked like a pyramid so less surface area of contact with fingers. The USB cut out is aggressive and extremely sharp around it's corners. The stand appears to be metal on the inside so possible could marr the finish of the device.
$14.99 down the drain. 2 out of 10.

I've currently got the Spigen liquid crystal on mine, worked and looked great on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro for the last two years (except the yellowing.)

PS, I also owned an Exynos Note 20U, it wasn't that bad, infact looking at my Accubattery Pro screenshots that I had saved , the screen on time on that device was better than my current american snapdragon variant. I bought the usa one because I needed full 4G compatibly otherwise I would have kept the Exynos. There's a lot of hype about the Exynos being turd, comparisons primarily by YouTube influencers that say dumb comments like , would you buy this car if it came with a 1.8l petrol but in america it has 5l v8 for same price BS.

Well, i bought one and received it. The quality is really poor compared to the vivo original black one. I wanted to match my blue phone. Wrong idea. I will keep my black ordinal vivo. Better coverage, better material.

The only problem is that you will not get the wireless charge anymore. With that metal piece on the back.
And i you read comment, you loose fingerprint unlock on front screen... Too much inconvenient for me.
I ordered the Vivo case with the phone. Quite happy with the protection and it doesn't add a lot of weight - the phone is already heavy enough!

this is what i got. i didn't like the front frame, so i removed it. it blocks the bezel. you see, there are functions nowadays (such as sideapp menu, back button) that require user's finger to hold the very tip of the screen for half a second before the menu popups. then again, without that frame you may damage your front screen if it falls. secondly, the stand in the back requires a hard surface in order to hold it stilll. then again, i wouldn't say this is a bad case overall. but it has its flaws. the rest i am satisfied. the material, the durability, it fits well and it covers the side well.
