I always put my cell phone to charge at dawn, and when I wake up, my phone is around 75%.
Fast charging is disabled when it reaches 70%, but if I reconnect the cable, the phone charges completely.
Does anyone have this problem?
PS: Arround 2 week of use, charger and cable are the original ones.
Try replacing the cable
About charge percentage maybe it's kind of reporting mistake. Let the phone reach 1% then charge it to 100. Check if there's an app running in the background constantly.
If the signal strength isn't the best in your area try enabling airplane mode before you sleep and watch the battery usage then.

Having some odd behavior from my TMobile HD7. After being plugging in to the wall socket all night to charge, I look at the indicator and it shows about halfway charged. I unplug it from the socket and reconnect and it pops to full battery.
After about six hours of use yesterday the battery showed almost dead. Had to turn off a phone for a plane flight, then when restarting an hour later it was at half power indicator.
Anyone else having problems like this or have a solution? This is a relatively new behavior I have seen.
Try to drain the battery until it shuts off. Then charge for at least 6 hours. Battery should now be calibrated.

My X8 will stop charging if I am using it while it is being charged. If I have it on charge with the wall charger or PC and then start to browse the net or use an app, it will charge for about 10 minutes and then stop. The charging battery icon reverts to normal and the phone discharges as it normally would if not being charged.
Is this normal for the X8? I notice that the battery is slightly warm when it stops charging. Its like there is some sort of heat sensor that causes charging to cease when the battery heats up a little. If I just stop using the phone charging recommences after it has been idle for about 10 to 15 minutes. Charging recommences even without disconnecting and reconnecting the cable.

The other day I was in a hospital and my phone was next to the bed but the charger wire was tangled in the bed. So a nurse came up and rolled out the bed and the phone fell from quite high on the (hard) floor.
It still worked, screen wasn't cracked so I didn't think much of it.
But now, the phone can be charged with the charger. As soon as I unplug the charger there are 2 things that can happen:
1. The phone keeps saying it's charging. Other than that the phone is fully functional. Battery drain is much higher though, in 10 minutes I lose 7% battery.
2. The charging icon in the battery will flash on and off. When I switch off the screen, the lock-screen immediatly turns on and the text charging blinks, it's like someone is plugging in the charger and takes it out immediatly, battery drain is even higher when this occurs, I lose 50% within the hour, depending of what I'm doing.
Sometimes the problem is not there, the phone will function normally, but the problem will come back within 1 or 2 hours and usually when I plug in a charger and take it out later. Also, sometimes it seems the phone is not charging and the charge indicator will stay at a certain percentage but when I reboot the phone it it fully charged (according to the indicator).
First I thought it was an android problem. But when I switch off the phone the charging image appears as well and starts blinking, also the menu and back button flash on and off. It's also quite difficult to switch on the phone at this point and the battery image shows only the outline of the battery, not how much charge is in it.
So far I tried 2 other chargers, 2 other batteries (1 original Samsung and 1 after market). Rebooted the phone many times and left the battery out for an hour.
Anyone knows of what causes such a problem? Of course, the fall was the start of the problem. Could there be some pins bent in the usb socket of the phone?

I had a problem recently in which even though I kept my phone on charging (and it showed that it is charging), the battery percentage either remained same or it went down even though it was plugged in.. went to samsung and they said the usb port is damaged and they replaced it.. I think the same resolution will be for your problem
Mmm....makes sense. What does Samsung charge for that?

Problem started yesterday, phone charge till 5% and than stop,it still says charging but its not.
try to get some battery apps to fix it and try a new cable...
Battery Fix
This is an issue with battery calibration (or so I assume).
What you will need to do is:
Leave the phone for at least 36 hours. Make sure that you keep the phone turned on for as long as possible.
Once you have left it for 36 hours, connect the charger and charge for a whole 10 hours.
Then, turn on the phone and it will possibly show that the battery is at 100%. If not, you need to install an app called CurrentWidget: Battery Monitor. It is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manor.currentwidget
This app will tell you the voltage/current stored in the battery. If the mAh of the battery is 3000 mAh when left charging for 10 hours, then you will need to do this:
Fully charge the battery with the phone for 5 hours and when the phone is fully charged, unplug the charger and turn it off.
When your phone is off, plug it into the charger and let it charge to 100% again. The green LED light will indicate when this is done.
Next unplug the charger, turn on your phone and set the option to ensure that your screen doesn’t turn off, if you have this option. Then reconnect to the charger and wait for it to charge again to 100%.
Once loaded to 100%, unplug the charger again and do not load until the smartphone turns itself off after reaching a 0% battery level. Once off, fully charge it again and it should work properly. The screen setting can put back to normal again (meaning turn off after a certain amount of time).
Hope this helped!
I recently updated my phone to CPH2173_11_C.48 (April 2022 Security).
When the phone is on the fast charging shows but the battery % does not increase, in fact the battery drains when used.
The only way I can get it to charge is by first connecting the charger and then turning off the phone. After it starts charging (and the charging % increases), I can then turn the phone on and it charges properly even whilst using the phone to watch videos.
The only thing I have done recently is to update to the latest firmware.
Any ideas what the issue may be?
If you do the above process then unplug and plug straight back in, does the problem replicate?
Does it only happen below or above a certain battery%?
It happens on low and high battery %. If I unplug and then plug straight back the problem replicates
Noticed something a bit weird, I connected the phone to my PC and it is charging slowly (normal charge, not fast charge). When plugged into an outlet, it shows fast charging but the % does not go up (unless the phone is off).
Could this be a software issue with fast charging? Any way to fix other than to try factory reset?

The culprit looks to be fast charge at lower battery %. I can slow charge at lower battery with the phone on and fast charge at higher % ( around70% +). Whilst off, fast charge works at any % battery.
Could this be software or hardware issue. Problem persists even after factory reset.
