[Q] Some apps looses it settings on Z1 - help !

Hi,
I am general happy with my Z1, but 1 thing is quit frustrating. I got 3 apps installed (1 home banking, 1 personal files app, 1 account widget) Theese 3 apps all Looses there settings over time. Example - I used them yesterday, but this morning ALL have lost their settings. I tried to test what happend, if I log out of the apps, and login Again - all settings are still there. If I turn off my phone and start it up Again - ALL settings are there. But it seems that overnight - or over some time, the phone "erase" the settings. I dont know if the Z1 somehow clear the cache and settings for programs. Anybody know a solution - or have similar problems???????????
Really? Am I the only one with this problem?

how to lock the messenger app

Hey guys how can I lock the messenger app with my fingerprint without using third party apps because it doesn't show up in the list :/
1. make sure that you have enabled "Access to blocking app" in Fingerprints manager(settings -> ID fingerprint-> manage fingerprints - >third option in page).
2. Go to Phone manager app scroll lower icons to left to get "Locking apps" option.
3. First time it will ask you for creating pin, enter it two times.
4. select apps that you want to protect using fingerprint.
5. close all apps and lock your phone for 5-6seconds(just normally lock it and wait).
6. After that everytime when you want to open those apps you will be asked for fingerprint.

Yes dude I know thx but my problem is that Facebook messenger app doesn't show up in that list, am I the only one ??
Well you should say that its Facebook messenger... As far as I know facebook and its side apps never worked properly.
I dont use it so I dont know if its visible on the list. What I can say is that all my apps are available there so its not like App lock it self is bad.
Try to block facebook too on the list, or just for test download those light version of messenger. God know how bad their apps are and maybe it will force it somehow...
In my device it appears but I don't have Facebook installed, and the messenger is the Lite vertion.
Tried it on Lite version and it works.

[ISSUE] Settings app crashes when I try to access 'App Shortcuts' in the lock screen

Hi ,
Recenty I discovered some issues with my phone SM-N950F, updated to most recent firmware version:
settings crashes when I try to enter "lockscreen shortcuts"
auto galery stoires not working
delaying messages more than 30 min won't work
I thied to boot in safe mode, and settings works fine , so crash must be caused by an app on my device , but I don't know exacly which one.

Some problems switching from Mate 20 Pro

Hi all,
I'm running into the following problems after migrating from Mate 20 Pro to P30 Pro.
1. Unable to disable notifications about apps drawing over other apps
2. Enabling App Twin simply creates a shortcut that launches the primary app even though it is labelled with badge "2".
Running 9.1.0.168.
Any assistance would be appreciated!

If you are referring to the home launcher, you should wipe caches and data, allow it the permissions needed.
If this doesn't solve it, then install other and uninstall or freeze it.
it happened to me 1 time..
launcher crashed..and theme goes to default
I was messing with gallery app permission don't allow mobile data
-to reaply theme..it needs now wifi (to get server cert? )...after that it works
you can now disallowed wifi and/or mobile data on app permissions
i took a 1hour to manage my installed apps.. ( also use netguard )
you can even disable Google, Facebook and Xiaomi apps (preinstalled stuff)
But..powerdrain is less then before
