The offical website said it's One UI 2, might be 2.1 or 2.5? Anyone have resourses if S20 FE will get One UI 3.0 beta access?

Anyone know if and when we will get an updated version of Android N, like 7.1?
Nope. Hopefully soon.
Perhaps with the Daydream support update..
<sarcasm>When the S9 is announced</sarcasm>
I wouldn't be surprised if they won't update to 7.1 and just wait til 8.0. by then Pixel 2 would be running 8.1.4 lol
from the leak info it looks like the note 8 will come out with 7.1.1. so it means we wont get it until after note 8 release. since samsung likes to keep their latest update for their new flagship devices.
Wich to me makes no sense at all...why not push the 7.1 to older phones to work out all the bugs for the newer device??

Sarcasm detected alert...
Just wondering if any variant of the S10 5g got the one UI 2.1 update. I have the 977n and no update yet...
Nevermind just got it!
Hi
There is a question. Is it possible to develop Android 11 ROM with OneUI 3.0?
Maybe it can be based on official ROM for Note 10 Lite...

Well, perhaps you might find some AOSP or such simulation rom, but not the real one.
For me the best android was OS v6.01, the latest don't make sense that much anymore, it just trendy to go with it.

I have Exynos version (SM-N960F)
Maybe someone is working on such custom rom. I know that SM-N770 is similar to SM-N960...

Yes, the SM-N770 running same chip (exynos) as the SM-N960
just thinking the reason why N9 was abandoned by Samsung, is it due to limited HW configuration or some other reasons? such as force you transfer to new toy......
Possibly useless but petition for Android 11 offical update:

Wicked enterprise, if that is not too rude. Snapdragon US carrier locked Note 9 s are now officially paperweights.
There already is one. Just go to the ROMs page. Noble ROM.

What's reason this kind of new 3.0 is just working for Exynos, but not for Snapdragon?

The lack of similar Samsung device(with One UI 3.1 or higher) with identical processor(Snapdragon 845) makes it a bit difficult, but not impossible unless some dev has a SM-N9600 and port One UI 3.1 on that variant of Note 9. However, it might take a while just like how it took so long for @corsicanu to port Android 10 to Note 8(SM-N950F/FD/N) models

The bootloaders are locked on the SD versions. And also the lack of a similar or idenitcal SOC on a phone that already has that version of Android. (For example Nougat with Touchwiz was ported to Note 4 Exynos just because Tab S2 came from factory with Nougat. Or that 7.1.2 was ported to HTC One M9 because HTC Bolt/Evo10 came with it. Only possible because they share SOCs.)

Get it, it's not functional barrier, just lack of a similar device with same SoC.......

Yeah. Maybe if somebody makes a One UI 3.x GSI you could probably install it that way.

I want to ask: do you have One UI or One UI Core? The update page and software information page don't have the matching detail.
It says One UI, and the edge panel was added

It might be, we will have to wait for us to find out. Hopefully, it should be Android 11 since SM-P205 already received Android 11

Also, Edge panel and pop up notificiations with effects were added along with a redesigned keyboard, launcher and locksreen. All in all this is a pleasant surprise from Sammy aside from the missing themes and Galaxy Theme Store option in which is the one I've wished that Sammy will do for tablets the same way the Z Fold, Z Flip and all Galaxy phones that have that feature. I dont see a beta for S10 anywhere online. Just curious if old phones like the s10 is now, do they get a beta tester program like s21 does?
