It's highly possible. Its best to stick to 60hz. It's not that bad. It's just that the scrolling is very choppy on MIUI.
Overclocking amoleds is safe because these modified dtbo files doesnt overvolt your screen so it is safe. Altough u might face green tint which is just annoying

Hi,
Any of you encountered the Mi 5 screen is bleeding/wash out/overexpose under bright sun? I'm using CM13 2016-09 build.
Is this normal? If it's not, is it ROM or device issue?
Thank you.
Not happen to me on MIUI 8, but generally Mi 5 has sunlight display which should allow you to still clearly see screen content under bright sun. No idea if it can be calibrated from software or only a hardware feature.
Its because ,automatic screen contrast in screen options? Check It
I thought I was the only one that had this happening. I'm not bothered by it, in fact I think it's a great feature. I first noticed it while using MIUI and was mildly surprised when it worked EVEN on Cyanogenmod. So I guess it's a hardware feature.

Certainly not an "issue". It's normal alright.
Can anyone tell me the touch screen latency of Oneplus 3T. Higher latency was the only deal breaker for me with One plus 3 which was 95ms.

You don't realize until you know it. But once you know it, it is difficult to use phones with high touch screen latency. Check this out:

I don't know how to calculate it but you can estimate it. Enable show touches in developer options and try to drag your finger around. See the YouTube video for better estimations.

Using the video you posted, latency falls between 10ms and 50ms, but closer to 50ms.
BTW, OS 3.5.3 update for the 3T specifically addresses high latency issues.

SGS Touchscreen Booster app does wonders for other androids.
Someone try it and report back
Also Note 4 has an option to increase touch sensitivity in the pull down menu.
Is there an option to do so on the OP3T?
It's pretty sickeningly quick/smooth coming from the galaxy s5, if I say so

That app says "Only for Samsung Galax S up to Android 2.3.x."
App Link to SGS in Google Play
I think the sensitivity of the panel is something different, as it would be more based on being able to detect soft touches.
Nothing scientific of course, but it didn't seem noticeable to me at first. I'm coming from a LG G4 which doesn't appear to have the best latency in the first place, according to this post on Reddit. Since all the posts came up about it I've started to notice it slightly, but nothing that hinders the user experience. Maybe in other cases it's more apparent, but so far in my day to day use it hasn't been an issue.
It works in later phones.
Use it on my note 4.... and it helps improve the touch experience

Hello everyone.. I'm sorry for bad English but try to understand it's important..
I think that Huawei cheated us with p20 pro..
We paid 890 euros for one of the best mobiles in the market and Huawei used second rate display of amoled.. And please tell me did you paid 890 euros for second rate display? I don't think so..
So follow the instructions and you will see what I mean.
Go on a completely dark room, without light at all..
Use brightness 100%
Click the video and turn your phone to watch it on full screen..
W8 for the a little bit and you will see white colours coming out from your screen and tell me..
Is that normal for amoled panel?
No its not.. Black should be completely black...
I took my phone to Huawei fix center and they refuse to see.. They don't recognize it as problem and they refuse to give me my money back..
What do you say?? Check the same with s9 and s9+.
P20 pro user.
no such problem on my device.
You mean you have some dead pixels?

No dead pixels, no white lines, just a properly working Amoled screen.
Had major light leak from the bottom of the screen it could only see it on a black background in low light

You will see white noise around of the screen and in. The. Middle of it..
That's is not 100% amoled screen. Do the same check with s9 and s9+

I have no white noise. Not sure what more I can say, I do NOT have the problem you are describing, end of.
No problems on mine either. The screen is pitch black on that YouTube video
No problem on mine.
Also, why on earth are you paying €890 if you just received it? They're available for at or below €700 now.

I can see what you mean. I can see it even on low brightness. I have never done this test before, so cannot comment on other oleds I've owned.
Could it be compression? I say this because after seeing the effect in this video. I tested others, and i found that the severity of the effect is lesser. Also the uniformity changed between videos, whilst staying consistant to each.
Your video was much more pronounced than some others, this makes believe that there is something else in the works.
I know when i use a pure black wallpaper, the screen is perfect black. Also im pretty sure the AOD has pure blacks too

Samsung decreases contrast a lot when you put the device on low brightness to counteract it. So it *technically* still does it but their software prevents it from being very noticeable.

Then probably some software glith. Similar thing happened once on my Lenovo Zuk z2 plus, which has an ips panel. A soft resrt should fix it
