system.ui crash - Xiaomi Mi CC9 / Mi 9 Lite Questions & Answers

Has anyone had this issue after the MIUI 12 update? I had this issue a couple times after the update. Just random crashing and then frozen screen.
Im on the MIUI version 12.0.3 Global.
Also using Nova Launcher if that could be a cause of the random crashes

Hello,
I use k20 pro with unlocked china rom, had the same issue, was affecting apps (chinese playstore) too. Solved it by installing manually, a newer version of google playstore and services, from xda forums (links). Now both stores run fine.
Have a nice day

Question Miui 13 lags

Hi there,
I tested the last stable EEA beta rom but there are still bugs with the alternative launchers (lags with Nova launcher especially when you unlock the screen...the wallpaper of the home screen takes a bit of time to appear). My question is: is it better to go back to 12.5 or try the Global rom in MIUI13?

you say it: "BETA" so expect bugs and lag, so stay en miui12 until muiu13 get more stable

doubt about keyboard presenting freezes in miui

the last rom aosp that I tested in my mi9 was the crdroid a12 but after returning to the .eu 12.5.6 a11 the keyboard at the time of typing presents freezes which makes many words wrong in typing, I thought it may be some bug that gave because of the crdroid dai installed the pixel a10 and did not happen the bug more, then I went back again to 12.5.6 and the bug returned, you know how to fix this? when do I give format/yes it really removes all remnants of the previous rom?

Which official MIUI is the most stable?

Hi everyone!
After I upgraded my merlinnfc to 13.0.3 (eea stable) the phone became almost useless: apps took many seconds to open, most of them had unexpected delays and/or crashed, etc. I tried to factory reset but nothing changed, so I had to unlock the bootloader and downgrade to 11.0.4. Phone now works great, but I was thinking if there is another MIUI version that works better than 11.0.4, I am open to suggestions
Thanks!
Did you happen to try other versions? I was thinking about downgrading to MIUI 12.5. Maybe MIUI 11 is faster, but I don't want to loose too many important features.

In the past I used 12.5 and I recall it worked fine, problems started with MIUI 13.0.3 and phone became unusable. I tried to downgrade to 12.5 but I experienced bootloops, so I switched to 11: phone is as fast at it should be, some minor bugs sometimes with bluetooth when connected to my car but it's manageable. I'm using MIUI 11 for about three weeks and I'm happy with it, I have basic needs (phone calls, gps navigation, whatsapp/telegram, pictures, banking app, web browsing on trusted sites) so as long as I don't need any feature from newer versions I won't upgrade.

The most stable and fast version is miui 11, 12 is THE WORST, 12.5 is good and 13 is really slow (but has a lot of features). I am using 13 for its features but its only bearable with like 60 magisk modules

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll upgrade to 12.5 only if/when needed. 13 for me was a nightmare, sometimes I had to wait 10+ seconds to get the camera working, making a phone call while using the navigator was painful, and most apps randomly crashed. I didn't try to use any masik module but I hoped to get an update to MIUI 14 until I realized I needed a new phone... so I downgraded
