Dual punch hole magisk module for poco x2/redmi k30
Here is Dual Punch Hole magisk module for poco x2.
Requirement -
Magisk 20.0+
If you want pill style notch back just remove the magic module and reboot.
Dont try this module on device other than poco x2 /redmi k30
If the status bar clock is going out of screen border then ONLY flash clock padding fix module.
Slimmer status bar
Slimmer Status Bar
Well this is my personal preference but i think status bar of poco x2/redmi k30 is too big.
So here is a module to get a slimmer status bar on poco x2/redmi k30.
After installing module.
Go to developer> display cutout and select corner cutout
I am new in modding app and want to learn more so I am starting from these smaller app. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas or improvement for future mods, do post it in reply, I will think about it.
I confirmed it's working with EU Android 11. Thanks.

the second one is after the update 20.12.2 and with the second no cutout
The way the border of the screen is round, its appear like the border "eat" the first numbers.
And the hole punch itself is working fine and i love it, and recommend to everyone
I updated the file with more padding, try it again.

sry for not answering earlier, i don't receive a notification
it almost the same
i think like the 4x this padding . it's better than previous.
I think mi changed the code for padding, I already applied 4x padding than normal.
I will need app 'devicesoverlay.apk' of your rom which you can find in root/vendor/overlay/

K30 EU Rom, v 12.0.4 working well
Confirmed, Thanks A Lot Bro
Tell me what does the 2nd file do? I mean the clock issue, whats that? And can you give me a SS of smaller statusbar?
In EU rom after version 20.12.2 the status bar clock goes out of screen as shared by lucastmendoncaf above, so the second file is for them who are facing such issue.

Wow, 20.12.2
Probably its beta, weekly update
Btw you should upload this in Your YouTube channel. Great work, YouTube got some videos where we need to download a specific theme, only 2/3 themes were available which could make dual punch hole separate. Unfortunately none of them are working after MIUI12, though people doesn’t like to root their phone, but a lot of them would love to follow your trick
People who doesn't want to root but want dual punch hole through theme try this method and make your own theme -:
Poco X2 dual punch-hole and battery indicator tutorial
If anyone wants to have dual punch hole and a battery ring to go with it in their Poco X2/K30 Like in this picture above, here is how you do it. You can these three themes. 1. Android Q Stock V11 2. Worns Hiram Hijau V11 3. Google Pixel 4...

Without root you can get dual punch hole in only non full screen app.

Hey there! Me again. I have a chinese Mi 8 with unlocked bootloader since day 1, it was sold to me like that.
I am facing an irritating situation. I was dumb enough to flash EU ROM just to get Google certified and use GPay and/or Netflix (I think I just needed to root and use Magisk hide...). I can now use those services, apparently, but now I have this notch issue in my phone. It looks so ugly.
On my MIUI 10.2.2.0 Global stable ROM it looked like this, a normal notch.
{

}
And now the clock on the left and the icons on the right are too close to the edge of the display, which means, the clock is too far to the left and the other part is to far to the right; it's like editing some values, the EU devs spaced out the status bar elements from each other.
Also, the clock that shows when you swipe down to see the quick toggles and notifications is to close to the notch.
All these issues could be solved in the global stable 10.2.2.0 ROM by changing the DPI, but not anymore, not here. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm picky and I am thinking about going back to Global just to not see that.

Sad. Really sad to read that.
Then I think I'm goning back to Global. This EU ROM was supposed to be amazing and I've encountered some other situations that irritate me a lot, quite more than Global.
One other issue is that no matter if I choose Classic, Default or Rhodium themes, the icons have a weird and ugly icon theme I can't get rid of (see screen1.jpg). I have only 3 themes (see screen2.jpg) and the icons look even worse if I choose default.
At least I can disable the swipe up gesture in the system launcher...

Adds a configurable Energy Ring around the camera lens indicating current Battery level. Dive into the various configuration options, not only you can quickly glance and get the battery info but, Energy Ring adds an accent to your phone's camera lens.
Got a full charge? The Ring will be a 360 degree wrap around the front camera lens.
Battery depleting? So will the arc of Energy Ring.
Out of the box features:-
✓ Energy Ring can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to a donut thick ring
✓ Energy Ring puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
✓ Energy Ring's direction can be configured as clockwise/bidirectional/anti-clockwise
✓ Energy Ring can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
✓ Energy Ring can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
✓ Energy Ring could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient (pro)
✓ You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
✓ Energy Ring has a number of cool animations whenever a power source is plugged into your device
All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!
This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? .) Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.
Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.
Download now from Google Play Store! And if you like, please leave a rating.
I currently using a K30. Is there a way for the ring to circle around 1 camera only? K30 have a fake pill shape and it's become weird once dark theme is enabled.

I think you are the one who need to put glass on. Check this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-x2/themes/poco-x2-dual-punch-hole-battery-t4074021, however the app he used is quite limiting and not as feature rich as this app.
I can confirm that the app works OK in MiUI 12 as long as you don't kill the app in the recents.
It looks so cool, but if I take the screenshoot the camera place gets black, not transparent (as it should be).

And one thing, why I can't find any Dolby Atmos in audio settings? As far as I know Redmi Note 10 Pro supports such app. Even, I can't turn on HD Audio in developer options.
Which ROM version are you using?
Xiaomi may not have added Dolby Atmos support for this device.

about Dolby Atmos, here's the site: latestmobilefaq.com
IDK whether it's a scam or not, but many Indonesian news sites are mentioning the same...
about MIUI optimization, I turned it off on purpose: YT vanced. That app needs the MIUI optimization to be turned off.
I've been using Redmi Note from year to year (Note 4 - 10), and my Redmi Note 9 Pro can do 3 fingers SS with MIUI optimization off.
is there any ways I can do both? turn off MIUI optimization and using 3 fingers SS?

Information about Dolby Atmos is wrong. Maybe MIUI ROMs in some regions have that support added by Xiaomi, but this is also doubtful. Only way is to root and install Dolby Atmos module using Magisk. It works just fine.

YouTube Vanced only needs MIUI Optimization turned off when installing or updating. You can turn optimization off when installing or updating YouTube Vanced, then turn optimization back on again. The problem is that toggling optimization is going to mess up your app permissions, so you'll need to set the permissions again. Not a big issue, but it's a hassle.
If you want MIUI without all of that hassle, you can install the xiaomi.eu ROM instead; YouTube Vanced works on it out of the box.
FYI Dolby Atmos is now available on MIUI 12.5 global. You can find it here....

I think what he means is getting rid of the status bar altogether and extending the screen.
I used to do it in my note 9, but since that didn't have a notch, it gave an immersive expereience.
Ex : if you open youtube in portrait mode, it still shows status bar....it should just show complete screen and when you scroll, the content should scroll over the notch

Been using that solution to hide the ugly (but useful since it includes a 3D face scanner and a notification LED in addition to the FFC and speaker) on mate 20 pro. However, on Huawei the icons are still maintained on the sides of the notch which frees up real estate.
TBH, I would take the FFC hole over a black bar at the top in most apps.
Mind you, it's less of a problem with dark mode.
There is a setting under "Developer..." that allows you to play with the cutout. I didn't see any difference on my black top bar....Search for "cutout" in Settings.

The update to android 11 may have been a mistake, kinda was regretting it. Then I found an app called 'Notch Hider', this is the package name: "com.fragments.notch.notchhider". It let's you customize the height of the status bar and makes it black. Hope this helps.

Hey thanks for this rom, wworking great so far!
Installed the ROM yesterday, been using it, and seems rather stable and usable, good job. I did notice, when using the ReVanced app, that there were slow downs when moving the PIP window it creates yesterday, but today it was working fine. Are you aware of any known issues on this?
Hi friends I'm using this ROM and looks great. For now I just want to know how remove this icon from my status bar. I've disabled all system icons and it still appears.
What's the meaning of it, how remove or hide it.
Thanks.
PD: it's not the VoWiFi icon.

Everything works like a charm for now. I also have that strange phone icon in status bar and I can't figure out how to disable it. Is there any customization for AOD?

Yes sir, you got that right. Thanks.
Hi, thx for the rom !
Can someone tell me what works/does not work ? (NFC, bluetooth, VoLTE, gps, drm on netflix...)
And i'm interested about the battery life as well (compared to stock global rom)
Thanks in advance !
PS : Oh, and what about the resolution with the Camera app ?
I'm using this ROM for a week now and it is fast and smooth. No major issues whatsoever.
Only thing I've noticed is bad audio. It's like it has some kind of kompressor on output and every few seconds it is increasing and decreasing in volume. Also, it seems to me that I've had a slightly longer battery life on stock, but I might be wrong cause I'm using it more now while testing everything. No AOD customization whatsoever, at least I didn't found it and AOD is too bright sometimes so I need to lower screen brightness in order to AOD be not so bright. Camera app is not by my liking but Hasli's LMC 8.4 R15 fixes everything .
That's it. Very good ROM.

for me it is not as smooth as it may seem from you. My Quick Settings have this weird delay when scrolling to the next page, also PiP is crashing and lags very hard when dragging it, same when changing brightness or the volume slider when decreasing or increasing sound

one of my friends uses pixel experience 13 plus as a gsi rom, pretty good experience, feels just like a pixel phone with some minor improvements and goodies
Does call recording work?
