Is it safe to flash official stable Global/Indian ROM over Europe ROM on either, Mi 10T and Pro?

I have the same question, will try it once I get permission to unlock the bootloader in a couple of days.
Can i straight flash it via stock recovery (rename to update.zip) ?
Does anyone know why we still aren't getting any android 11 builds on this phone and the Mi 10 is? I would have thought that this is the newer phone so it would have gotten android 11 first, obviously not

This phone seems to be not so popular, it even didn't receive its on version of GCam while the mi 10 did (they have the same sensor), and you cant not see the device name as Mi 10t Pro but more like a serial number in google and other apps. I really hope im wrong and this will change in near future.

beforeci purchased this device i already thought of it as non popular device. coming from a oneplus 5t for 3 years at first i was hesistant. but i embraced the change somehow and im satisfied with it.

The exact same here. Came from a 5T with lineage and decided to upgrade. And between the Poco X2 Pro and the Mi10t Pro the 144hz did the decision for me.
It is quite a bit heavier then the 5T, but the runtime is great and it's quite zappy in performance.
So direct flash via stock recovery (global) isn't recommend? I mean from Global to China rom .
Apparently there's a new global firmware update (MIUI 12.0.8.0 QJDMIXM)
I haven't received any update notification yet though. It's still android 10 it seems. There's a recovery and fastboot download link in this link below...
I haven't had time to try flashing it yet

edit--- confirming that the 12.0.8.0 QJDMIXM is legitimate, I flashed it through TWRP and it's working fine, you can add it to the OP if you want @Whyle
can i directly flash it from indonesia to global without unlocking bootloader?

To flash any kinds of rom you need to unlock bootloader. Once you've done that you can flash roms from other regions using twrp without much problems (though some devs dont recommend cross flashing regions, beware.)

has anyone tried it?
I made the update, during updating, the percentage progress was stuck for a while on 5% and then on 54% and first reboot took quite long time, but otherwise everything looks ok. I noticed that I can no longer schedule silent mode (only DND, but that is not the same)
For the 'Recovery' files, do you need a custom recovery like TWRP or you can flash it with the MIUI recovery?

To flash any kinds of rom you need to unlock bootloader. Once you've done that you can flash roms from other regions using twrp without much problems (though some devs dont recommend cross flashing regions, beware.)

I flashed Mi 9T Pro ROM (MIUI 12) on my K20 Pro using Mi Flash tool. Now for K20 pro the ROM is MIUI 11 and when I try to flash the K20 Pro ROM on my phone using Mi Flash tool, I get an error about device mismatch.
Please help as I want to switch back to Indian ROM....
Dear brother, I am using K20 Pro I have this error also this problem persist on vendor image, i flashed China vendor image in my mobile after i try to flash Indian fastboot rom i got this mismatch error. So the problem is very small do you have Indian fastboot rom then flash indian vendor zip or do you have china fastboot rom then flash china vendor zip. Then try fastboot flash its really work.
Sorry for my English. I hope you understand.
Where do i get the vendor files? Also, is it some kind of downgrade protection because I am trying to flash MIUI 11 on device running MIUI 12?
You'll find the vendor image inside fastboot rom. Flash it with TWRP.
Mi 9T Pro ll Tapatalk
Go-to this below link and find the vendor zip file as you have fastboot rom version. for example do you have fastboot rom 12.0.2.0 India version then download 12.0.2.0 vendor zip and flash with TWRP or Orange Fox then flash fastboot rom using Mi flash tool.
I am new to XDA, so I can't share the link now on reply, so copy below link and paste into address bar to open.

Can someone help me with the detailed steps to do it. I am listing the entire thing what I did till now-
1) Bootloader unlocked and installed Pixel Experience ROM
2) Then used the Mi Flash Tool to install the Global ROM MIUI 12 (Originally my phone had the Indian variant for MIUI 11)
3) Now, my phone shows it to be MI9T Pro, whereas earlier it was K20 Pro
4) Now when I try to flash the MIUI 11 back, I get the error for 'Missmatching image and device' because I see in the .bat file that the check says- fastboot %* getvar product 2>&1 | findstr /r /c:"^product: *raphaelin"
My device was raphaelin originally.

Could you please tell me, What is your MIUI 11 version of fastboot rom you trying to install.
I am trying to install 11.6 version that is the latest available fastboot ROM. Also, I have already checked the anti ver value for my current ROM and for the one to be installed.
Current Anti Ver =1
Anti Ver for ROM to be installed=1
So, the condition that do not match here is that it's checking whether the device is Raphaelin. Because my current ROM says the device is Raphael.

Hi,
follow this steps...
1)Use orangefox recovery - URL: https://orangefox.download/en/device/raphael
download and flash this orangefox recovey zip using your twrp recovery.
2)flash this vendor zip using orangefox recovery - URL: https://downloads.akhilnarang.dev/M...al-V12.0.2.0.QFKINXM-10.0-vendor-firmware.zip
3)Then asusal flash the fastboot rom using Mi flash tool.
I was trying to update from MIUI A11 EEA 12.1.2 to EEA 12.1.4 but my TWRP couldn't access my data partition.
Note that you may or may not have to do some of these steps. Let me know what works!
1. Removed pattern, fingerprint etc. (Try without removing this first.)
2. I used LRs TWRP, whyle might work. Let me know.
3. Important! Go to fastboot and boot to twrp from there using "Fastboot boot twrp.img". Do not flash to recovery.
4. You're in! Flash your downloaded ROM immediately from your internal storage.
This is what worked for me, and hopefully yours too. I dread the format data button.
where did you get the LR TWRP? Please provide a link

You don't need to use twrp to upgrade with official release, just download the zip to your phone, go to settings, about phone, miui version and tap on the miui logo multiple times until the message "additional update features are on". Then you will have option to choose update package from phone storage and can update to newer miui without twrp (even without bootloader unlocking)

This is even better. Didn't know you can do this! Still it's worth a post for whoever needs to access twrp and couldnt.
Ive been trying to flash a global rom to my xiaomi Mi 11 pro for some time.I have flashed twrp but obviously it doesnt stick around if the rom flash does not work. I cant seem to find one on the latest Venus firmware, every time i attempt to flash the latest available on xiaomi dot EU it comes up with the firmware is star/mars and your device is venus. i attempted to flash back to china recovery https://xiaomirom.com/en/download/mi-11-venus-weekly-21.9.29/ and this bricked my device.Unsure if its trying to boot the wrong partition a/b but then i dont know what im talking about really. Can anyone offer some advice on this?
As a side ote, the phone does not turn on, connect to pc, boot to recovery or reset mode.
Seems to me you flashed firmware for Mi 11 Pro, and you have Venus which is Mi 11, and this is Mi 11 forum. ? Also you don't need twrp to flash official firmware, global or EEA version.
You can find firmwares here.. mifirm.net or here c.mi.com

Mi 11 Pro is Mars and share the same ROM than Star (Mi 11 Ultra) but it's NOT Venus (Mi 11).
TWRP is the same for Mars/Star. Anyway your Mi 11 Pro has nothing to do with a Mi 11 Venus.
The only way is to flash the fastboot CN Official here
But apparently you can't access fastboot mode ?

You can't resize partitions. But you can use vndk gsi builds and get some reserved space on the partitions.
Guys, join our chat group. Let's share and have fun . https://t.me/evergochat
Guys, all these manipulations are not needed with our device, it is unnecessary to flash any vbmeta, neither when installing gsi firmware, nor when installing root.
You also do not need to delete/to create logical partitions, I put several gsi firmware, everything fits perfectly.
Hello dear forum
Just got a huge problem, after installing twrp, i wanted to update from Miui13 to Miui14.
it chopped everything up a bit. But then finally done with a message, see attachment.
Since then I can no longer do a normal restart, the phone just hangs in fastboot mode.
Tested a fastboot boot twrp.img, no success.
Does anyone have advice for me?
Which TWRP(full name)?
this one
twrp-3.7.0_11-0-star.img
i test now a recovery flash with Mi Flash Pro, i thing is the one solution.
Are you sure of the version of your device, Star and not Venus?
Anyway you used a TWRP A11 while the system is A12.
try flashing the correct TWRP A12 again.

Sideload or use OTG for flashing the rom.
